  • Inlay (入絲), a poetic technique of digging grooves in the surface of crafts and decorating them with metal materials, was used throughout the royal daily routines, ceremonies and government officials of the Joseon Dynasty. The government-owned handicraft industry in the Joseon Dynasty was composed of craftsmen belonging to central and local government offices and was operated mainly by government-owned craftsmen. The inlay craftsman was transferred to the central government office and was in charge of inlay poetry for crafts. The current records of Korean inlay craftsmen are concentrated in the state-owned handicraft industry. In the state-owned handicraft industry, the government offices of inlay craftsmen can be divided into Kongjo (工造), Sangeuiwon (尙衣院), and the military. Here the election of a temporary government office for airspace is added. The government offices and military inlay craftsmen who use inlay crafts are assigned, and the inlay craftsmen are placed separately in the temporary office where the fine division of labor is developed. It can be made by utilizing craftsmen. The operation of these production systems was indispensable in pre-modern Korean society, where crafts had to be produced by hand. In this paper, we investigated the roles and job types of craftsmen in the state-owned handicraft industry during the Joseon Dynasty, focusing on inlay craftsmen. Although the details applied to the characteristics and materials of the field, labor supply and demand, etc. are different, Korea pursued crafts for various purposes through craftsmanship within the framework of the basic state-owned handicraft policy . The institutional equipment for implementation was almost common. We believe that adding and analyzing some literature records and relics will help us to study the crafts of the Joseon era in more detail.

  • 《Mu Yang Ai Hua, 牧羊哀話》 is known as the first Korean-sanctioned novel in the history of modern Chinese literature, and is famous for a novel created by the author himself visiting Korea and being inspired. The translation of 《牧羊哀話》 is constantly being re-translated (4 types). These translations also reflect the characteristics of each period, and the translation strategies used have their own characteristics. The results of the comparative analysis of the four types of translations in this study are as follows. The role A was published during the Japanese colonial period, and some parts were reduced and omitted according to the intent of the translator, and a foreignization translation strategy was used. B, C, and D have implemented content equivalence by utilizing many of the localization translation strategies, and added supplementary explanations in part to help readers understand. Since translation is a process of communication, it should not just convert the source text to the target text, but the target reader's response to the work should be the same as that of the reader. Therefore, translation must be able to understand the environment of the times and the readership, and it must use all possible methods to elicit the same emotion and empathy as the reader has read the original text. Therefore, translators need to use their nationalization and foreignization strategies at the same time based on their understanding of the target language and the politics, economy, history, culture, etc. of the destination country.

  • In modern society, there is a growing demand for human tissue donation along with organ donation. However, the awareness of tissue donation and actual donation rates remain very low in South Korea. This study was undertaken to evaluate the current status of domestic laws and systems, and to compare them with the operation systems of major foreign countries, by reviewing literature and web sites of organ donation and registration. The authors present three measures to promote human tissue donation in Korea: integration of a dual legal system in a legal aspect, vitalization of the Opt-out system in terms of system operation, and activation of public relations in terms of social and cultural aspects. The Opt-out system, in particular, is the most effective way to activate transplants in the form of presumed consent of countries without undue pressure. However, the presumed consent method requires various stages of social public debate, and the requirement is a proper domestic understanding of the registration system for rejection. In conclusion, we believe the solution towards a positive inclination for organ donation is a public policy to increase the supply for organs and human tissue transplants, and positive perception of donations, public promotion, and support for postmortem donors and their families.

  • In modern society, environmental and energy problems have caused to replace cars with environment friendly energy. Vehicles with internal combustion engine which use petroleum are one of the factors that influence global pollution due to environment problems such as fine dust and ozone layer destruction. In addition use of energies for automobile making resources to become depleted. To solve this limited oil energy problem by using other energy sources. To the problem using electric energy and green energy as alternative for a solution. Among environment friendly energies this paper studies the possibility of drive service for autonomous vehicles that self-charges using only solar energy and whether they can be used as pollution free and alternative energy for automobiles. • In this paper, I review Pellegrino's Reader, The Philosophy of Medicine Reborn. Pellegrino has emphasized the humanities' reflection on the ethics of medicine. He insists that medical ethics should be re-established as modern society changes. This paper, based on Pellegrino's view, noted the problematic situation in literature and popular narrative texts. Indeed, I wanted to see what answer medical ethics could provide for us. Medical personnel had a philosophical dilemma or a conflict between reality and ethics. Pellegrino argues that medical personnel, above all, need to sympathize with the patient's pain and respond to their needs through interaction with them. This may seem like a very legitimate declaration. But a physician in literary texts and popular narrative texts is often exposed to this ethical dilemma. Through Lee Cheongjun's novel, we can reflect on how a medical personnel could lead a patient to a state of "goodness". And through medical dramas, we can grasp what ethical behaviors the public demands from a medical personnel. Now that the world is suffering from COVID-19, medical workers are in a great trouble, but at the same time, they are respected by the public and are also enhancing their value as ethical beings. Now that medical care has become an everyday narrative, medical ethics is becoming a prerequisite for living. This paper attempted to recognize the importance of medical ethics and to review the ethical issues embodied in medical narratives.

  • It is not easy to predict the future society in the rapidly changing present, but it is said that a new social environment of sensibility and virtuality will come, and we should pay attention to the fact that women have entered this as the subject. This study is a literature review study on gender roles. Through the study, it was found that gender stereotypes that exist in our society allow men to enjoy a lot of vested rights just by being male, and that women have to endure pain because they are women is accepted as a matter of course. Living in the 21st century, we were able to know the reality that we could not escape the pre-modern patriarchal ideology and still worshiped the idea of preferring boys. Through this study, unlike other elderly groups, elderly people who live alone are likely to be cut off from society and lead a limited life in their own world. However, through the efforts of the government, local organizations, and individuals, the goal of welfare for the elderly is to increase the satisfaction of life for the elderly living alone so that they can enjoy a successful old age. From this point of view, the support measures for the elderly living alone will be effective only when systematic and complementary in various dimensions such as family structure, physical, economic, and social aspects.
