The paper brings to question how image as a medium is becoming a replacement for traditional letters in the modern culture. Reflection the importance of image in the context of modern society with the changes in the values of communication. The importance of letters in its traditional format as a book that signified not only the method of communication but also power for those who governed during the days of illiteracy in the past has changed, in the beginning with the development of printing and today with movies etc. that supply endless images instead of words as a means of communication. The images are the next generation in the method of communication and can be noted from the earliest civilizations such as Egypt where the method of communication was not words but drawings that depicted specific significations. The use of images for communication purposes in light of this fact suggests that images was being used before words in societies and its communicative values greater than that of words.

The purpose of this research is to get basic data for R&D to activate and popularize the Practical Korean Costume. This research was carried out by theoretical study with literature and practical study with development of model based on the result of questionnaire. 1. In theoretical study the concept of 'Korean-image' of modern costume as well as 'Modernization' of Korean traditional costume has been suggested and 'traditional beauty of costume' which can be evaluated generally was considered. 2. In practical study the results of the questionnaire showed the objective numerical value of the element of Korean design which is firmly recognized by korean people. With the results the methods of development and composition of design have been suggested in the harmony of 'traditional' and 'modern' through the modernization in terms of form composition fabric color. It is expected that development direction of Practical Korean Costume which can be settled in everyday life with more independent cultural identity should be suggested. Additionally the research results will be useful for merchandise planning of costume industry.

The purpose of this study is to examine introduction and establishment of the police uniform during Japan's early Meiji period, in order to get deeper understanding of the introduction of the modern uniform. The research method included a literature review of laws related to police uniform, which were collected and analyzed. The result shows that the uniform stipulated by Keisi-cho Uniform regulation in 1874 included characteristics of Western uniforms that show the rank of the officers using emblems, such as different cap badges and uniform stripes, while maintaining the same form. Later, the modern uniform system came into form with the addition of a national symbol, building system of formal wear, separating uniforms for different classes, and adding additional uniforms. This illustrates the process of introducing and establishing western-style uniform in the East and can serve as a reference for similar studies.

Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate the concept of Aphasia of children in the western and oriental medicine. Methods : We surveyed the western and oriental medical books from to recent published books that have articles on Aphasia. Results and Conclusion : The concept of phonation organ in neiching is same as that of modern physiology. Sul-um is relative with verbal disturbance of central nervous disease and Hu-um is relative with verbal disturbance of peripheral nervous disease in modern medicine. The Aphasia of Children was classified two concept which is innate and acquirement Aphasia according to production cause. The Aphasia of children has the most close relation with the kidney and heart in the five zang-organ.

Bun-Hwa-Chang is a kind of sore and occurs skin. It is reported that Bun-Hwa-Chang is similar to skin carcinoma. The So-Moon(素問) explains that "sores, pains and ichings are occurred to the heart fire(諸瘡痛痒 皆屬층心火)" is the factor of it It will be helpful for examination closely to the cause of the suppurative infection to amount for Bun-Hwy-Chang and to approach modern medical skin carcinoma. It also gained some views about the examination and access of skin carcinoma which is one of skin diseases that occurs because of modern environmental pollution through chinese medical literature contemplation, as a resort, it is reported as stated above.

Robert Lowell is one of the major poets in the modern American poetic world. His major work, Life Studies, is a representative of confessional poetry. It presented American spiritual civilization and universality for life from the late 1950s to 1960s. It dealt with the subject of the poet's private life under the psychological pressure. Lowell described his distinctive vision of the relationship of painful world and suffering self in his poetry. An important feature of his confessional poems was the criticism on modern civilization by means of characterization. Life Studies was written as a kind of therapy to overcome his early trauma, as well as the social problems of contemporary Americans which Lowell was confronted with. Through his personal experiences, Lowell exposed and judged the collapse of traditional value and moral confusion in the society. Therefore, he is a poet who opened his own world of poetry with his poetic achievements.

Funeral culture, which came to being along with the death of human beings, has developed through many changes in the background, culture, religion and custome of the times, having variant cultures depending on each nation or era. This study is designed to historically and systematically classify funeral rituals and costumes which have constantly changed in a special funeral culture from ancient times to modern times so as to investigate the features of each age. The researcher worked on Western funeral cultures, focusing on Egypt and Rome of ancient times, Creek times, the Middle Ages, recent and modern times ages, referring to literature, precedent studies, domestic and international technical books, pictures and drawings in relation to death and funeral services. Western funeral rituals were designed for offering condolence to the dead, but also used to show off the status of the mourners and the position of the dead persons. The mourning dress were utilized to indicate mourning in accordance with the colors, materials and the ways of wearing them, serving as a vehicle for showing off one's own status.

In the post-modern society, creativity is redefined as a capability which collects a wide range of information and recombines them in diverse manners. With a such trend, the characteristics of collage - a method of making a creative image by combining pieces which have no relevance - is becoming prevalent in the post-modern culture. The purpose of this research is to develop a model which generates ideas in fashion design by use of collage techniques. With regard to research methodology, a literature survey was undertaken to find out and understand characteristics of collage. Analytic and positive studies were also done on the styles of fashion design of the 2003 SS collections to which collage techniques applied. In order to generate ideas in fashion design, the following mechanism using collage techniques can be used. Above all, pluralism is realized by collecting incoherent elements. Secondly, deconstruction is made by changing scales and configuration. Lastly, relativity is attained by using parts of ready-made goods and respecting their independency.

The conflict between Iran and Israel has been a major source of instability and security threats in the Middle East. This study analyzes the historical background and modern aspects of the Israel-Iran conflict, examining its root causes, nuclear issues, proxy wars, cyber warfare, economic sanctions, and the role of the United States. The research employs qualitative methods, including literature review and case analysis, using various sources such as academic papers, government reports, and media articles. The findings suggest that the conflict is deeply rooted in historical, religious, and political factors, and has escalated since the 1979 Iranian Revolution. The study highlights the need for dialogue, negotiation, and international mediation to resolve the conflict and maintain regional stability. The Israel-Iran conflict also provides valuable lessons for addressing the North Korean nuclear issue, emphasizing the importance of dialogue, international cooperation, and confidence-building measures.
