  • BiCMOS is the newly developed technology that integrates both CMOS and bipolar structures on the same integrated circuit. Improved performance can be obtained from combining the advantages of high density and low power in CMOS with the speed and current capibility advantages by bipolar. However, the major drawbacks to BiCMOS are high cost, long fabrication time and difficulty of merging CMOS with bipolar without degrading of device Performance because CMOS and bipolar share same process step. In this paper, N-Well CMOS oriented BiCMOS process and optimization of device performance are studied when N-Well links CMOS with bipolar process step by 2D process and 3D Device simulation. From the simulation, Constriction of linking process step has been understood and provided to give the method of choosing BiCMOS for various analog design request.

  • The process and results of computer simulation using bond graphs for a hydraulic system driving large rotational inertia are presented in this paper. As the large rotational inertia and its application characteristics, control criteria of this system is not position-control nor velocity-control but appropriate acceleration, deceleration and inching ability. All the components' nonlinear characteristics are modelled using bond graphs. The equationing and solution process is carried out by a package. Finally it is concluded that modelling of this kind of system by bond graphs and using a software as its solver shows good approximated results to actual experimental data, and that the proposed modelling may be useful to actual design process for this kind of hydraulic system.

  • Recently, as a result of the growing interest in modelling stationary processes with discrete marginal distributions, several models for integer valued time series have been proposed in the literature. One of theses models is the integer-valued autoregressive(INAR) models. However, when modelling with integer-valued autoregressive processes, there is not yet distributional properties of forecasts, since INAR process contain an accrued level of complexity in using the Steutal and Van Harn(1979) thinning operator 'o'. In this study, a manageable expression for the asymptotic mean square error of predicting more than one-step ahead from an estimated poisson INAR(1) model is derived. And, we present a bootstrap methods developed for the calculation of forecast interval limits of INAR(p) model. Extensive finite sample Monte Carlo experiments are carried out to compare the performance of the several bootstrap procedures.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide to understand correctly for teachers and pre-service teachers who have the wrong conception of mathematical modeling. We present the differences modeling problems and general application problems to identify between general application and modeling problems. We propose the entire process from modeling tasks development to solve the problems of mathematical modeling. Additionally, the entire process of the possible solutions was concluded for the presented modeling problems. We proposed what students and teachers should perform at each stage of each phase of the modeling cycle. The concrete tasks were suggested for teachers and students at each phase of modeling cycles, with the specific role of the teacher in the overall process for students' modeling activities.

  • Gas separation via hollow fibre membrane modules (HFMM) is deemed to be a promising technology for natural gas sweetening, particularly for lowering the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in natural gas, which can cause various problems during transportation and process operation. Separation performance via HFMM is affected by membrane properties, module specifications and operating conditions. In this study, a mathematical model for HFMM is developed, which can be used to assess the effects of the aforementioned variables on separation performance. Appropriate boundary conditions are imposed to resolve steady-state values of permeate variables and incorporated in the model equations via an iterative numerical procedure. The developed model is proven to be reliable via model validation against experimental data in the literature. Also, the model is capable of capturing axial variations of process variables as well as predicting key performance indicators. It can be extended to simulate a large-scale plant and identify an optimal process design and operating conditions for improved separation efficiency and reduced cost.

  • Within the building industry, building information modelling has been widely applied among different organizations, disciplines and project phases. In order to achieve coordination and synergy collaborative effort, it demands organized information flow and communication for effective implementation of project management through the construction process. Although many BIM researches provides solutions for project management, few efforts have involved the whole life-cycle process of project. In this article, BIM-based project management relying on a series of applications of BIM technology was introduced by coupling management requirement of a project with BIM. Through adopting BIM to the life-cycle management of the project and incorporating BIM applications to project management practice, we have developed a BIM-based project management approach that specialize in integrated BIM chain and interface-supporting system. At the end, the developing process of BIM-based project management approach is concluded.

  • Tele manipulator is distingushed from industrial robot by iterating same specified work. Manipulator operator is included in control loop for controlling the telemanipulator because he decide directly during the work and order controllabily reducing the modelling error of telemanipulator which depend on the PID controller. But position-force control method of bidirectional control impose unsafety of vibiration and Analytic Hierachy Method can stabilize for reducing nonlinear modelling error by expert operator because of transformation empirical control rule to linear model.

  • A modelling process of a robotic assembly cell and a method for analysis of the assembly cell operation through simulation are presented. An assembly cell including industrial robots is the subject of the model. The states of the assembly cell elements are taken as the state variables and the relationships between the states are described mathematically using the operators. An algorithm for the cell operation is developed from the relationships between the states and the information on the assembly task, and efficient analyses are performed by the simulation results.

  • Empirical findings on interet rate dynamics imply that short rates show some long memories and non-Markovin. It is well-known that fractional Brownian motion(fBm) is a proper candidate for modelling this empirical phenomena. fBm, however, is not a semimartingale process. For this reason, it is very hard to apply such processes for asset price modelling. With some modifications, this paper investigate the fBm interest rate theory, and obtain a pure discount bond price and Greeks.
