This paper proposes a moving object tracking algorithm by using hierarchical search method in dynamic scenes. Proposed algorithm is based on two main steps: generation step of initial model from different pictures, and tracking step of moving object under the time-yawing scenes. With a series of this procedure, tracking process is not only stable under far distance circumstance with respect to the previous frame but also reliable under shape variation from the 3-dimensional(3D) motion and camera sway, and consequently, by correcting position of moving object, tracking time is relatively reduced. Partial Hausdorff distance is also utilized as an estimation function to determine the similarity between model and moving object. In order to testify the performance of proposed method, the extraction and tracking performance have tested using some kinds of moving car in dynamic scenes. Experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm provides higher performance. Namely, matching order is 28.21 times on average, and considering the processing time per frame, it is 53.21ms/frame. Computation result between the tracking position and that of currently real with respect to the root-mean-square(rms) is 1.148. In the occasion of different vehicle in terms of size, color and shape, tracking performance is 98.66%. In such case as background-dependence due to the analogy to road is 95.33%, and total average is 97%.

Gravity anomalies were recovered on a $5'\times{5'}$grid using the sea surface height data obtained from the combination of Geosat, ERS-1, Topex/Poseidon altimeter data around Korean Peninsula bounded by latitude between $30^\circ{N}\;and\;50^\circ{N}$ and longitude $120^\circ{E}\;to\;140^\circ{E.}$ In order to recover the gravity anomalies from SSH(Sea Surface Height), inverse FFT technique was applied. The estimated gravity anomalies were compared with gravity anomalies measured by shipboard around Korean Peninsula. In comparison with the differences of gravity anomaly between measured data and altimeter data, the mean and the standard deviation were found to be -0.51 mGal and 13.48 mGal, respectively. In case of comparison between the measured data and the OSU91A geopotential model, the mean and the standard deviation were found to be 11.93 mGal and 19.19 mGal, respectively. The comparison of gravity anomalies obtained from the OSU91A geopotential model and the altimeter data was carried out. The results were mean of 5.30 meal and standard deviation of 19.62 mGal. From the results, we could be concluded that the gravity anomalies computed from the altimeter data is used to the geoid computation instead of the measured data.

In this paper, we introduce a novel key management scheme that is based on the key pre-distribution but provides the key re-distribution method, in order to manage keys for message encryption and authentication of lower-layer sensor nodes on hierarchical mobile sensor networks. The characteristics of our key management are as follows: First, the role of key management is distributed to aggregator nodes as well as a sink node, to overcome the weakness of centralized management. Second, a sink node generates keys using regression model, thus it stores only the information for calculating the keys using the key information received from nodes, but does not store the relationship between a node and a key, and the keys themselves. As the disadvantage of existing key pre-distributions, they do not support the key re-distribution after the deployment of nodes, and it is hard to extend the key information in the case that sensor nodes in the network enlarge. Thirdly, our mechanism provides the resilience to node capture(${\lambda}$-security), also provided by the existing key pre-distributions, and fourth offers the key freshness through key re-distribution, key distribution to mobile nodes, and scalability to make up for the weak points in the existing key pre-distributions. Fifth, our mechanism does not fix the relationship between a node and a key, thus supports the anonymity and untraceability of mobile nodes. Lastly, we compare ours with existing mechanisms, and verify our performance through the overhead analysis of communication, computation, and memory.
Road safety is defined under the minimum design standard and design examination process is consisted of the standard according to current road design. However, road safety in practical way is correlative to not only all element of roads but also road shape, such as, between straight line and curved line and between curved lines. Also. it is related to alignments such as horizontal alignment and vertical alignment, and cross section. That is, the practical road design should be examined in both sides of 3 dimension and consecutiveness (consistency) as the actual road is a 3 - dimensional successive object. The paper presents a concept for acceleration to evaluate consistency of road considering actual road shape on 3-dimension. Acceleration of vehicle is influential to road consistency based on running state of vehicles and state of drivers. The magnitude of acceleration. especially, is a quite influential element to drivers. Based on above, the acceleration on each point on 3-D road can be calculated and then displacement can be done. Computation of acceleration means total calculation on each axis. Speed profile refers to “Development of a safety evaluation model for highway horizontal alignment based on running speed(Jeong, Jun-Hwa, 2001)” and then acceleration can be calculated by using the speed pronto. According to literature review, definition of acceleration on 3-D and g-g-g diagram are established. For example, as a result of the evaluation, if the acceleration is out of range, the road is out of consistency. The paper shows calculation for change of acceleration on imaginary road under minimum design standard and the change tried to be applied to consistency. However accurate acceleration is not shown because the speed forecasting model is limited and the paper did not consider state of vehicles (suspension, tires and model of vehicles). If speed pronto is defined exactly, acceleration is calculated on all road shapes, such as. compound curve and clothoid curve. and then it is appled to consistency evaluation. Unfortunately, speed forecasting model on 3 -D road and on compound curves have rarely presented. Speed forecasting model and speed profile model need to be established and standard of consistency evaluation need to developed and verified by experimental vehicles.

Recently, spatial information is being constructed actively based on the images obtained by drones. Because occlusion areas occur due to buildings as well as many obstacles, such as trees, pedestrians, and banners in the urban areas, an efficient way to resolve the problem is necessary. Instead of the traditional way, which replaces the occlusion area with other images obtained at different positions, various models based on deep learning were examined and compared. A comparison of a type of feature descriptor, HOG, to the machine learning-based SVM, deep learning-based DNN, CNN, and RNN showed that the CNN is used broadly to detect and classify objects. Until now, many studies have focused on the development and application of models so that it is impossible to select an optimal model. On the other hand, the upgrade of a deep learning-based detection and classification technique is expected because many researchers have attempted to upgrade the accuracy of the model as well as reduce the computation time. In that case, the procedures for generating spatial information will be changed to detect the occlusion area and replace it with simulated images automatically, and the efficiency of time, cost, and workforce will also be improved.
The objective of this study is to examine the climate change impact assessment on Korean water resources considering the uncertainties of Global Climate Models (GCMs) and hydrological models. The 3 different emission scenarios (A2, A1B, B1) and 13 GCMs' results are used to consider the uncertainties of the emission scenario and GCM, while PRMS, SWAT, and SLURP models are employed to consider the effects of hydrological model structures and potential evapotranspiration (PET) computation methods. The 312 ensemble results are provided to 109 mid-size sub-basins over South Korean and Gaussian kernel density functions obtained from their ensemble results are suggested with the ensemble mean and their variabilities of the results. It shows that the summer and winter runoffs are expected to be increased and spring runoff to be decreased for the future 3 periods relative to past 30-year reference period. It also provides that annual average runoff increased over all sub-basins, but the increases in the northern basins including Han River basin are greater than those in the southern basins. Due to the reason that the increase in annual average runoff is mainly caused by the increase in summer runoff and consequently the seasonal runoff variations according to climate change would be severe, the climate change impact on Korean water resources could intensify the difficulties to water resources conservation and management. On the other hand, as regards to the uncertainties, the highest and lowest ones are in winter and summer seasons, respectively.
We focus on the mobile agents which are considered as new paradigm to solve information retrieval of large volumes of data in the distributed and heterogeneous environment. The mobile agent moves the computation to data instead of large volumes of data to computations. In this paper, we propose an information retrieval model, which can effectively search data in the distributed and heterogeneous environment, using mobile agents. Our model is applied to the design and implementation of an Q&A(Question and Answer) retrieval system. Our Q&A retrieval system, called QASSMA(Q&A Search System using Mobile Agents), uses mobile agents to retrieve articles from Q&A boards and newsgroups that exist in the heterogeneous and distributed environment. QASSMA has the following features and advantages. First, the mobile retrieval agent moves to the destination server to retrieve articles to reduce the retrieval time by eliminating data traffics from the server to the client host. Also it can reduce the traffic that was occurred in the centralized network system, and reduce the usage of resources by sending its agent and running in the destination host. Finally, the mobile retrieval agent of QASSMA can add and update dynamically the class file according to its retrieval environment, and support other retrieval manner. In this paper, we have shown that our Q&A retrieval system using mobile agents is more efficient than the retrieval system using static agents by our experiments.

This paper describes the numerical analysis techniques using the Combined Integration/Matrix Method to calculate ground potential rise which can be occurred in the various grounding systems. Combined Integration/Matrix Method is used to reduce the error and computation time with the analytical integration equation and the proper segmentaion of earth embedded conductor. To do it, optimal segmentaion method for the buried conductors is presented through error analysis which is capable of applying the practical scaled various grounding systems. The optimum length of segmented element is much co-related with the buried depth of grounding electrode and the maximum length of buried electrode. As a result, less 3 precent errors was obtained by proposed model. The proposed model is applied to verify an effect of multi-grounding problems which was aroused much controversy with separated or common grounding between the high power grounding system and low power grounding system such as signal and telecommunication grounding.
Compared to 31-mode rings, 33-mode rings are highly utilized as wide bandwidth underwater acoustic transducers because the electro-mechanical coupling and piezoelectric constant d are high. On the other hand, the 31-mode ring is an axial symmetry structure, so it is possible to model it as a simple two-dimensional asymmetrical model for numerical analysis, but the 33-mode ring requires a three-dimensional numerical analysis. That is, a lot of computing resources and computation time are required. In this study, the effective material properties of an equivalent 31-mode ring were derived to simulate the electro-mechano-acoustical responses of the 33-mode ring transducer. Using the effective material properties derived from this study, a numerical analysis of rings in vacuum, air backed rings in water, and FFR (Free Flooded Ring) transducers were performed to compare the responses of 33-mode rings.

Password-Authenticated Key Exchange (PAKE) Protocol is a useful tool for secure communication conducted over open networks without sharing a common secret key or assuming the existence of the public key infrastructure (PKI). It seems difficult to design efficient PAKE protocols using RSA, and thus many PAKE protocols are designed based on the Diffie-Hellman key exchange (DH-PAKE). Therefore it is important to design an efficient PAKE based on RSA function since the function is suitable for designing a PAKE protocol for imbalanced communication environment. In this paper, we propose a computationally-efficient key exchange protocol based on the RSA function that is suitable for low-power devices in imbalanced environment. Our protocol is more efficient than previous RSA-PAKE protocols, required theoretical computation and experiment time in the same environment. Our protocol can provide that it is more 84% efficiency key exchange than secure and the most efficient RSA-PAKE protocol CEPEK. We can improve the performance of our protocol by computing some costly operations in offline step. We prove the security of our protocol under firmly formalized security model in the random oracle model.
