A study was carried out to estimate the deformation of the set net according to the current by the model test in the circulation water channel. The tension of the frame line and the variation of net shapes were measured to investigate the deforming of the model set net in the flow. The results are obtained as follows; 1. The tensions (y) of the frame line according to the flow speed(x) from 0.0m/s to 0.6m/s were expressed by the experimental equation as follow : y= 1814.1x+115.12 2. In case of the upperward flow with fish court net, deformed angle in the upperward net was changed from 0$^{\circ}$ to 79$^{\circ}$, the inclined passage net was from 0$^{\circ}$ to 56$^{\circ}$. Besides, the depth ratio of the first bag net changed from 1.0 to 0.42 and the second bag net was from 1.0 to 0.41, and deformed angle in the downward of the bag net was from 0$^{\circ}$ to 87$^{\circ}$. 3. In case of the upperward flow with bag net, deformed angle in the upperward net was changed from 0$^{\circ}$ to 60$^{\circ}$, the inclined passage net was from 0$^{\circ}$ to 13$^{\circ}$. Besides, the depth ratio of the first bag net changed from 1.0 to 0.27 and the second bag net was from 1.0 to 0.15. In the flow speed 0.3m/s, the inclined passage net rised up to the entry of the bag net and then prevented it more over 90% in 0.5m/s. A deformed angle in the downward of the fish court net was from 0$^{\circ}$ to 58$^{\circ}$. 4. To minimize the deformation of each part in model set net, it needs to attach the moving weight out of the fish court net, inclined passage net and bag net. Besides, it needs to adjust the tension of the net twine for the maintenance of the shape.

The shape of the net mouth in a midwater trawl gear is examined by measuring towing speed, gear resistance, the width of otter boards, net height, and so on of a full-scale gear in operation. In addition, a mathematical model is developed to predict shapes of the net mouth. In the model, shapes of head, ground, side ropes, which governs the shape of net mouth, are assumed as a catenary. The validity of the model is tested with observations. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. The warp tension and vertical opening of the gear is highly dependent to the towing speed. The depth of the gear and width of otter boards are very sensitive to the variations of the warp length. 2. The model results indicate that the wing tip of the head and side ropes is reduced and the vertical distances of the head and side ropes sagged to the back with increasing towing speed. 3. The results of comparing the measured net height with calculated side rope height were satisfying. 4. The results of analysis showed the vertical axis of the net mouth was decreased and the width of the net mouth was little changed when the towing speed increased.

Full scale experiment was carried out in the southern sea of Korea to compare some important factors tested in the model experiment. The results obtained can be summarized as follows ; 1. The changing aspect of mouth performance of the full scale net was almost coincided with the results obtained by the model experiment. The vertical opening(H) and the opening area(S) can be expressed as a function of the towing velocity(V) as H=48.78. $e^0.38V$(unit: m, k't) S= 1,443 .$e^-0.25V$(unit: $m^2V$, k't) 2. The changing aspect of working depth of the full scale net was almost coincided with the results obtained by the model experiment. The depth(D) can be expressed as a function of the towing velocity(V) and the warp length(L) as D=92.49.$V^1.37$(unit: m, k't, L= 150m) D= 12.07+0.32. L (unit: m, V=2k't) [)= - 7.90+0.22 . L (unit: m, V=3k't) 3. Some problems were found to operate A - type full scale net by common bottom pair trawlers. The problems can be summarized as follows; (1) Entangling of wing and square head ropes while net casting.(2) Man power needed and time spent for net hauling by common bottom trawlers increased considerably.( 3) Tearing of nettings caused by over -load of tension and entangling of net pendant while net hauling. To solve these problems, the trawlers are favorable to be equipped with variable pitch propeller and llet drum. While the net is favorable to be constructed with trifurcated net pendant in stead of quadrifurcated net pendant used at present.
In this paper, we studied an efficient inter-working method in which QualNet network simulator can import WAVE channel model and physical layer simulation module pre-designed by Matlab tool. At first, we investigated physical layer and communication medium simply designed in QualNet, then we suggested practical method for QualNet network simulator to adopt different type of physical layer simulation module in which detailed multi-path fading channel model and IEEE802.11p communication modem are designed. This work should be applied to linked simulation between upper layer and lower physical layer for total simulation from higher layer to lower physical layer related to next generation DSRC/WAVE specification.
The purpose of this study was to construct land cover maps using a deep learning model and to select the optimal deep learning model for land cover classification by adjusting the dataset such as input image size and Stride application. Two types of deep learning models, the U-net model and the DeeplabV3+ model with an Encoder-Decoder network, were utilized. Also, the combination of the two deep learning models, which is an Ensemble model, was used in this study. The dataset utilized RapidEye satellite images as input images and the label images used Raster images based on the six categories of the land use of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as true value. This study focused on the problem of the quality improvement of the dataset to enhance the accuracy of deep learning model and constructed twelve land cover maps using the combination of three deep learning models (U-net, DeeplabV3+, and Ensemble), two input image sizes (64 × 64 pixel and 256 × 256 pixel), and two Stride application rates (50% and 100%). The evaluation of the accuracy of the label images and the deep learning-based land cover maps showed that the U-net and DeeplabV3+ models had high accuracy, with overall accuracy values of approximately 87.9% and 89.8%, and kappa coefficients of over 72%. In addition, applying the Ensemble and Stride to the deep learning models resulted in a maximum increase of approximately 3% in accuracy and an improvement in the issue of boundary inconsistency, which is a problem associated with Semantic Segmentation based deep learning models.

A new method which uses distance fields scheme and marching cube algorithm is proposed in order to get an accurate offset model of arbitrary shapes composed of triangular net. In the method, the space bounding the triangular net is divided into smaller cells. For the efficient calculation of distance fields, valid cells which will generate a portion of offset model are selected previously by the suggested detection algorithm. These valid cells are divided again into much smaller voxels which assure required accuracy. At each voxel distance fields are created by calculating the minimum distances between corner points of voxels and triangular net. After generating the whole distance fields, the offset surface were constructed by using the conventional marching cube algorithm together with mesh smoothing scheme. The effectiveness and validity of this new offset method was demonstrated by performing numerical experiments for the various types of triangular net.

The main purpose of this study is to develop an algorithm to solve the scheduling problems of FMS using Petri-net is well suited to model the dynamics of FMS and Petri-net is an ideal tool to formulate scheduling problems with routing flexibility and shared resources. By using the marking of Petri-net, We can model features of discrete even system, such as concurrency, asynchronous, conflict and non-determinism. The proposed algorithm in this paper can handle back-tracking using the marking of Petri-net. The results of the experiment show that marking is one of the best ways that describe exactly movement of the discrete event system. To show the effectiveness of the algorithm suggested here, we compare it with L1 algorithm using the Petri-net through the test on randomly generated test problems.

In this paper, a method of constructing a rectangular net from unorganized point cloud data is presented. In the method an implicit surface that fits the given point data is generated by using principal component analysis(PCA) and adaptive domain decomposition method(ADDM). Then a complete and quality rectangular net can be obtained by extracting voxel data from the implicit surface and projecting exterior faces of extracted voxels onto the implicit surface. The main advantage of the proposed method is that a quality rectangular net can be extracted from randomly scattered 3D points only without any further information. Furthermore the results of this works can be used to obtain many useful information including a slicing data, a solid STL model and a NURBS surface model in many areas involved in treatment of large amount of point data by proper processing of implicit surface and rectangular net generated previously.
Active surface adjustment of cable net structures is becoming significant when large-size cable net structures are widely applied in various fields, especially in satellite antennas. A general-duty adjustment method based on active cables is proposed to achieve active surface adjustment or surface profile reconfiguration of cable net structures. Piezoelectric actuators and voice coil actuators are selected for constructing active cable structures and their simplified mechanical models are proposed. A bilevel optimization model of active surface adjustment is proposed based on the nonlinear static model established by the direct stiffness method. A pattern search algorithm combined with the trust region method is developed to solve this optimization problem. Numerical examples of a parabolic cable net reflector are analyzed and different distribution types of active cables are compared.

It is challenging to find breast ultrasound image training dataset to develop an accurate machine learning model due to various regulations, personal information issues, and expensiveness of acquiring the images. However, studies targeting transfer learning for ultrasound breast cancer images classification have not been able to achieve high performance compared to radiologists. Here, we propose an improved transfer learning model for ultrasound breast cancer classification using publicly available dataset. We argue that with a proper combination of ImageNet pre-trained model and optimizer, a better performing model for ultrasound breast cancer image classification can be achieved. The proposed model provided a preliminary test accuracy of 99.5%. With more experiments involving various hyperparameters, the model is expected to achieve higher performance when subjected to new instances.
