기포발생식 항적기만기를 고려한 수상함 어뢰방어체계 시뮬레이터 개발 (A Simulator Development of Surface Warship Torpedo Defense System considering Bubble-Generating Wake Decoy)

  • The wake-homing underwater guided weapon that detects and tracks wake generated during voyage of a surface ship is impossible to avoid with the present acoustic deception torpedo defense system. Therefore, research on bubble-generating wake decoy is necessary to deceive wake-homing underwater guided weapon. Experiments in various environments are required to verify the effective operation method and performance of the wake decoy, but performance verification through underwater experiment is limited. In this paper, we develop a simulator for an torpedo defense system of surface ship, which is applied bubble-generating wake decoy, against acoustic, wake, and hybrid homing underwater guided weapon attack. The simulator includes surface ship model, acoustic decoy(static, mobile) model, bubble-generating wake decoy model, search and motion model of underwater guided weapon and so on. By integrating various models, MATLAB GUI simulator was developed. Through the simulation results for various environmental variables by this simulator, it is judged that effective operation method and performance verification of the bubble-generating wake decoy can be performed.

중첩 NHPP 모형에 근거한 소프트웨어 최적방출시기에 관한 연구 (A Study of Software Optimal Release Time for Based on Superposition NHPP Model)

  • Decision problem called an optimal release policies, after testing a software system in development phase and transfer it to the user, is studied. The applied model of release time exploited infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process. This infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process is a model which reflects the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software. The failure life-cycle distribution used superposition which has various intensity, if the system is complicated. Thus, software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement becomes an optimal release policies. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, estimated software optimal release time. Through this study, in terms of superposition model and simply model, the optimal time to using superposition model release the software developer to determine how much could count will help.

소프트웨어 개발형태 기반 개발기간 추정 연구 (A Study of Development Schedule Estimation Based on Development Type)

  • 소프트웨어 측정분야는 30년 이상 수많은 연구가 있어 왔으나 아직까지 구체적인 소프트웨어 개발노력, 개발기간과 비용 추정 모델이 없는 실정이다. 소프트웨어 개발기간을 추정하기 위한 기존의 모델들은 사용된 데이터 크기가 적고 과거 프로젝트들을 대상으로 하고 있어 현재의 복잡하고 다양한 개발환경에 적용하는데 제약이 따른다. 따라서, Oligny et al.은 ISBSG Benchmark Release 4의 396개 프로젝트에 대해 개발기간이 개발플랫폼에 영향을 받음을 제기하여 각 개발플랫폼에 따른 개발기간 추정 모델을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 Oligny et al. 모델들을 ISBSG Benchmark Release 6의 534개 프로젝트에 대해 적용한 결과 개발기간이 개발플랫폼에 영향을 적게 받음을 밝혔다. 따라서, 개발기간에 보다 영향을 미치는 개발형태를 채택해, 개발형태에 따른 개발기간 추정 모델을 제시하였다. 제안된 모델들은 개발 플랫폼의 영향보다 개발기간 추정에 보다 많은 영향을 미침을 밝혔으며, 개발기간 추정시 개발형태별로 추정하는 모델 적용이 보다 타당함을 알 수 있다.

Assessing the Value of Research and Exploratory Development Stage of an R&D project under Duopoly and Oligopolistic Competition

  • In acquiring and transferring a superior knowledge assesing the intermediate result value of a competitive R&D project is very important for a firm engaging in R&D. Most existing literatures on R&D evaluation are concerned with project selection and resource allocation. In this paper the stage of an R&D project is classified into research, exploratory development, and development. And a model is suggested which evaluates the intermediate result value before completion of development stage under duopoly and oligopolistic competition. Assessed value of the intermediate result transferred to the next tier company can be used as a minimum acceptable price to the inventor when more advanced knowledge acquired through R&D is transferred to the next tier one. The model suggested is composed of structural variables including research cost, success rates, potential profits, discount rate degree of competition. By using exponential distribution for invertion process time in each stage, we derive a formula that can assess the value of the intermediate result, and we demonstrate how the model can be applied to a competitive R&D situation through an example.

RFID 응용 사례 연구 : 비즈니스 모델 관점 (Case Study for RFID Applications from Business Model Perspective)

  • Despite the vast potential opportunities of RFID technology in various industrial applications, deployment of RFID applications is rather limited to meet a large industrial demand in Korea. We conducted in-depth case study to organize the RFID applications in business model framework in order to provide practical insights for the development of innovative RFID applications. Throughout extensive searching for RFID applications in literature, web, news, and policy reports, we first classified passive RFID applications, mobile RFID applications, and active RFID applications. Value creation and implementation issues are compared and analyzed for each of RFID applications using Afuah and Tucci business model. This study can contribute in establishing future development of RFID technology, competitive business strategy, and government policy to stimulate Korea RFID industry.

Document Classification Model Using Web Documents for Balancing Training Corpus Size per Category

  • In this paper, we propose a document classification model using Web documents as a part of the training corpus in order to resolve the imbalance of the training corpus size per category. For the purpose of retrieving the Web documents closely related to each category, the proposed document classification model calculates the matching score between word features and each category, and generates a Web search query by combining the higher-ranked word features and the category title. Then, the proposed document classification model sends each combined query to the open application programming interface of the Web search engine, and receives the snippet results retrieved from the Web search engine. Finally, the proposed document classification model adds these snippet results as Web documents to the training corpus. Experimental results show that the method that considers the balance of the training corpus size per category exhibits better performance in some categories with small training sets.

논문 - 지속가능한 농어촌 지역개발을 위한 정책 방향 연구 (A Study on the Policy Directions to Sustainable Rural Development)

  • There are found rare specific alternatives for sustainable rural development although sustainable development has become popular common concept in international development arena. Korea is trying to reform rural development by introducing a block grants system since 2009 expecting for the efficiency of development investment. However, it seems that such new rural development system is far from realizing the sustainable development. The objectives of the study are to identify the roles and issues of the sustainable development policy and to suggest a policy model for realizing sustainable rural development. Based on the policy model hypothetically established, some policy alternatives were suggested: (i) the establishment of land use system considering sustainability perspectives; (ii) the preparation of environment management measures considering topographical traits; (iii) the improvement of landscape support scheme toward increasing biodiversity; (iv) the systematic implementation of agriculture-environment measures; (v) the implementation of sustainable development projects linking production to housing; (vi) the inclusion of sustainability indicators in rural development evaluation system.

현업 기후예측시스템에서의 지면초기화 적용에 따른 예측 민감도 분석 (Application of Land Initialization and its Impact in KMA's Operational Climate Prediction System)

  • In this study, the impact of soil moisture initialization in GloSea5, the operational climate prediction system of the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), has been investigated for the period of 1991~2010. To overcome the large uncertainties of soil moisture in the reanalysis, JRA55 reanalysis and CMAP precipitation were used as input of JULES land surface model and produced soil moisture initial field. Overall, both mean and variability were initialized drier and smaller than before, and the changes in the surface temperature and pressure in boreal summer and winter were examined using ensemble prediction data. More realistic soil moisture had a significant impact, especially within 2 months. The decreasing (increasing) soil moisture induced increases (decreases) of temperature and decreases (increases) of sea-level pressure in boreal summer and its impacts were maintained for 3~4 months. During the boreal winter, its effect was less significant than in boreal summer and maintained for about 2 months. On the other hand, the changes of surface temperature were more noticeable in the southern hemisphere, and the relationship between temperature and soil moisture was the same as the boreal summer. It has been noted that the impact of land initialization is more evident in the summer hemispheres, and this is expected to improve the simulation of summer heat wave in the KMA's operational climate prediction system.

데이터 마이닝의 분류 및 예측 기법을 적용한 비유사량 추정 모델 개발 (Model development for the estimation of specific degradation using classification and prediction of data mining)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 하천을 대상으로 데이터 마이닝의 분류 및 예측 기법을 활용하여 비유사량 추정 모델을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 유사이송에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 전반적으로 고려하여 유역인자를 추출하였으며, 유역의 지형학적 요소, 강우, 토지 피복, 토지 이용, 하상 재료 등이 고려되었다. 추출된 인자를 활용하여 모델을 도출한 결과 유역 형태학적 특성인자 중 평균 면적비에서 유역고도 및 토지피복인자 중 도시화 비율과 전체 유역 중 습지와 수역의 비율이 조건인자로 활용되었다. 도출된 모델은 실측값과의 비교를 통해 실측 비유사량의 발생 패턴이 유사하게 재현됨을 확인하였다. 또한 기존의 사용되던 산정 공식과 비교하였으며, 국외의 데이터를 기반으로 도출된 모델은 개발 배경 및 국내 하천 환경과의 차이로 인해 국내 하천 데이터 적용에 한계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 개발 및 적용 환경, 데이터 범위의 차이 등으로 인해 발생하던 기존 공식의 한계를 개선하고자 하였다.

컨버전스 시대의 로봇산업 비즈니스 모델 개발 (Development of Business Models for the Robot Industry in the Convergence Age)

  • In this paper, we develop business models for the robot industry that facilitates to explore new business opportunities in the convergence age. Considering the trend of convergence society, we analyze the market drivers. Analyzing market dynamics and value chain, we design a set of the business model for the robot industry focused on u-health robots. In addition, we describe the evolution path of the proposed business model in terms of technology development and market. Finally, we develop a framework for evaluating the effectiveness of the business model.
