This study is an empirical study about the effects of perceived risks and perceived benefits on purchase intention in mobile commerce. Perceived risks and perceived benefits are proposed as mediators that make a significant impact on purchase intention in mobile commerce. Also, this study compared the direct effect of perceived risks, perceived benefits and consumer subjective knowledge to purchase intention. As antecedents of perceived risks and perceived benefits, subjective knowledge, mobile Internet familiarity, credibility for the purchase and provided information level are proposed and verified. Results from this study are as follows: First, the effect of perceived risks to purchase intention is not significant whereas that of perceived benefits is significant. Second, this study revealed that mobile Internet familiarity, credibility for the purchase and information level are significantly related to mobile purchase intention through perceived benefit. Third, subjective knowledge makes a significant impact on purchase intention directly not mediated by perceived risk or perceived benefit. Based on these results, managerial implications for mobile commerce vitalization and marketing strategy are discussed. Finally, limitation for this research and further research issues are suggested.
The progress of mobile internet technologies has changed user access to information. The mobile internet allows to obtain contents and services from wireless networks via mobile devices. The purpose of this study is th find out important factors that influence on the customer purchase intention by mobile internet environment. Base on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) and the latest literature, a comprehensive set of constructs and hypotheses were compiled with a methodology for testing them. We suggested five factors that effect purchase intention in mobile internet environment: Enjoyment Ease of use, Usefulness, Mobility, Trust To validate the research model, we collected data from cellular phone user using an online survey. The results of this study are as follows. First enjoyment ease of un, usefulness, and mobility had positive effects on trust. Second, Usefulness, ease of use, and trust had positive effects on purchase intention to use mobile internet. Third, enjoyment and mobility did not have positive effects on purchase intention to use mobile internet. Based on these results, we suggest marketing strategies.
In this study, we identified the characteristics of mobile fashion shopping and verified the path model of effects of these characteristics on mobile fashion shopping purchase intention through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. We conducted the survey targeting smartphone users in their 20s~30s and analyzed the structural equation model using AMOS 16.0. The results were as follows: Mobile fashion shopping characteristics (enjoyment, credibility, instant connectivity, security, and personalization) had positive effects on perceived usefulness and perceived usefulness influenced attitude toward purchase and purchase intention positively. Attitude toward purchase affected purchase intention in a positive way and perceived usefulness had indirect effect on purchase intention through attitude toward purchase. In conclusion, we proposed the marketing strategies of the mobile fashion shopping businesses.

With the gradual in-depth use of social elements, music social networking has attracted more and more attention and discussion in the industry. Therefore, starting from the user experience theory and purchase intention theory, this paper explores the mechanism of user social experience and purchase intention in mobile music applications, and adds the mediating role of brand attachment on the basis of literature research. Based on previous studies on user experience measurement of social network and evaluation report of mobile music applications in the industry, and combined with in-depth interviews of users, whether the user experience of mobile music applications, which pays more and more attention to social elements, has an impact on purchase intention or not? What specific social experience can help form purchase intention? Are mediating variables at work? In practice, a total of 398 formal questionnaires were collected to obtain first-hand data. Later, reliability analysis, factor analysis and structural equation model test were carried out successively to verify the hypothesis. According to the results of empirical research, firstly, content experience, atmosphere experience and interactive experience in users' social experience of mobile music applications have a significant impact on brand attachment, secondly, atmosphere experience has a significant impact on purchase intention, and thirdly, brand attachment has a significant impact on users' purchase intention. Fourthly, brand attachment plays an intermediary role in the relationship between users' atmosphere experience and content experience and purchase intention. Based on the above research conclusions, the author puts forward corresponding marketing strategy Suggestions, which have certain guiding significance for mobile music applications to improve users' purchase intention, and have certain reference significance for the development of mobile music applications and the expansion of business model.
The purposes of this study were to: 1) identify sub-factors of fashion shopping orientation (FSO) in adults aged 20 through 39, and analyze the differences among those FSO factors according to classified groups, which were based on gender and purchase frequency in a mobile shopping mall, and 2) to investigate the effects of FSO factors on mobile purchase intention according to the same classified groups. The questionnaire was conducted from November 10, 2015 to November 20, 2015 and its 432 respondents were classified into four groups, which were male/heavy purchaser, male/light purchaser, female/heavy purchaser, and female/light purchaser. The results of this study were as follows: First, fashion shopping orientation consisted of five sub-factors, which included "conspicuous brand pursuit", "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit", "impulse shopping", and "convenience pursuit". Second, There were significant differences in three factors of FSO between male purchasers and female purchasers. Male purchasers showed higher tendency than female purchasers in "conspicuous brand pursuit", while female purchasers showed higher tendency than male purchasers in "economic pursuit" and "convenience pursuit". All the factors of FSO showed significant differences among the classified groups. Third, "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit" and "convenience pursuit" affected mobile purchase intention in the case of male purchasers while "economic pursuit" and "conspicuous brand pursuit" had a influence on mobile purchase intention in the case of female purchasers. Fourth, the factors of FSO affected mobile purchase intention partly in each group. In conclusion. Purpose : The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the attributes of mobile shopping apps on the purchase intention of fashion products in the steadily growing mobile commerce market and analyze the mediation effect of shopping flow. Research design, data and methodology : In this study, a survey was conducted on users in their 20s to 50s who had experience of fashion products via mobile shopping apps. The questionnaire was analyzed on the final 507. The research issues were verified using Frequency analysis, Exploratory factor analysis, Reliability analysis, Confirmatory factor analysis, and Structural equation model. Results : Among the attributes of mobile shopping apps, reliability, enjoyment and ease of use were found to have a significant impact on shopping flow and fashion product purchase intention, while shopping flow had a significant impact on fashion product purchase intention. Product diversity and usefulness of shopping apps didn't show a significant effect. After examining the mediation effect, reliability, enjoyment, and ease of use were shown to have indirect effects by showing partial mediation effects. Conclusions : Studies show that consumers are not putting much emphasis on how diverse a product line is available and how useful a mobile shopping app is when they shop for fashion products on mobile devices. Factors that affect consumers' purchase intention are reliability, enjoyment and ease of use of shopping apps. These results shows that it is important to provide reliable information about fashion products, provide reliability to customers by setting up means for safe transactions, and provide a wider variety of services and information to make using the mobile shopping app enjoyable. In addition, there is a need to make it easy to find a fashion product that consumers like and make it easy to purchase when consumers find out fashion products that they like, and to configure how to use the app easily. Consequently, consumers become immersed in shopping which is also able to improve consumers' purchase intention on fashion products when a reliable, enjoyable and easy to use mobile shopping app is provided.
With the increasing popularity of mobile commerce, restaurant service has become one of the leading service categories. Thus, this study attempted to understand the shopping behavior of restaurant mobile consumers by focusing on their shopping orientations. Specifically, this study investigated the structural relationships among shopping orientations, perceived value, concentration, and purchase intention in restaurant mobile commerce. Data analysis employing a structural equation approach was carried out for this study. Results revealed that, first, a consumer's shopping orientations was found to have a positive influence on perceived value, with time/convenience orientation possessing a stronger influence on perceived value than other factors (economic and hedonic). Second, a consumer's perceived value was found to affect concentration and purchase intention. Third, a consumer's concentration also appeared to influence purchase intention.
The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of mobile fashion shopping characteristics and perceived interactivity on perceived usefulness, and the effect of perceived usefulness on purchase attitude and purchase intention based on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). We conducted the survey targeting smartphone users in their 20s~30s living in Seoul and metropolitan area. Among 483 data collected, we used 452 samples except 31 unreliable respondents for the analysis. To analyze the structural equation model, we did factor analysis, reliability analysis, and structural equation model analysis using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 16.0. The results were as follows: We confirmed 5 mobile fashion shopping characteristics (enjoyment, credibility, instant connectivity, security, and personalization) and 3 perceived interactivity factors (control, responsiveness and two-way communication, and contextual offer) as results of confirmative factor analysis. Mobile fashion shopping characteristics and perceived interactivity had positive effects on perceived usefulness. Mobile fashion shopping characteristics affected perceived interactivity and also had indirect effect on perceived usefulness via perceived interactivity. In other words, mobile fashion shopping characteristics had direct and indirect effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness influenced purchase attitude and purchase attitude influenced purchase intention. Perceived usefulness had direct effect on purchase intention and the indirect effect through purchase attitude was significant.
Mobile shopping, through the use of the smart phone, has become a very popular shopping method for consumers due to it not being limited by time or place. This research aims do the following:1)find the causes for consumers shifting to mobile shopping with the focus on fashion and beauty items; and in order to so, this research will use the TAM that was found by David et al (1989), and 2) distinguish any behavioral differences between consumer groups divided into purchasing intention of fashion and beauty items through smart phone. Path analysis was performed to verify the cause-and-effect relationship between the variables. Personal characteristics(i.e. market maven, time orientation), perceived usability, ease of use, attitude towards mobile shopping, and purchase intentions were all treated as dependant variables. The results showed that attitude towards mobile shopping was the most important variable on mobile shopping intentions. Time-oriented and Market Maven were thought to affect mobile shopping attitude and the dependent variables of purchase intention. Also, when purchasing smart phones, consumers highly valued smart phone's popularity; people with higher purchasing intention mainly used entertainment and utility apps. The following are the main reasons for not purchasing through mobile shopping: they are slower than computers, inconveniences in viewing due to small size of the screen, and security issues. The consumers used the internet as their main source of acquiring daily information. In this research, factors that affect the purchase intention were studied. However, it is difficult to firmly insist that this research correctly predicts the actual purchase intention-further studies need to be done to investigate the relationship between mobile purchase intention and actual purchase intention.
