  • In this paper, we propose the address allocation algorithm in hybrid Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET). Most of proposed address autoconfiguration algorithms are node based. Node based address autoconfiguration algorithms are inefficient. Because the node based algorithms waste bandwidth and consume much battery in mobile ad-hoc networks. we present the address allocation algorithm using internet gateway based address autoconfiguration by modifing the IPv6 stateless address autoconfiguration protocol. We use the network simulator NS-2 in our experiments. The simulation result shows reducing network traffic and saving battery.

Empirical Investigation of the Relationship between the Operational Competence of Service Providers and the Use and Adoption of Mobile Commerce

  • This study models the operational competence of mobile service providers as an endogenous factor that presumably impacts the mobile commerce (m-commerce) adoption of consumers and examines the relationship between the perceptions of consumers toward the operational performance of m-commerce providers and their m-commerce adoption likelihood. Quantitative research is applied with data collected from wireless Internet consumers in South Korea. The data is analyzed using factor analysis and structural equation modeling methods. The findings suggest that the operational competence of m-commerce providers is a significant antecedent to the m-commerce use and adoption of consumers in Korea. In this environment, the operational competence of mobile service providers in managing facilities, equipment, systems and technology plays a central role in enhancing m-commerce use and adoption. Based on the results, important managerial implications are discussed.

  • Today, with the wide use of mobile devices, the amount of business transactions conducted through such devices is increasing drastically. However, there are several limitations in the area of authentication for mobile use, which requires strong authentication mechanisms to satisfy security and convenience requirements. The proposed model and application system provide a framework to ensure the security and reliability of the flow of biometric information for telebiometric applications using mobile devices. We also specify protocols for each model and implement a mobile telebiometric application to improve security vulnerabilities compared to storage in a microSD match on card (MOC) based on the proposed model. As a consequence of this implementation, we propose substantial guidelines for security countermeasures from both technical and managerial perspectives in order to establish a safe mobile environment for the use of telebiometric systems.

  • Following the increase in the supply of smartphones and the increase in the use of wireless Internet, the online shopping environment is also changing into mobile shopping. However, the domestic mobile shopping services fall short of people's expectations compared to desktop Internet shopping malls. These are mainly due to the restricted screen size and inconvenient data entry of mobile devices, the slow Internet speed, and other restrictive conditions. Accordingly, in this paper, the usability of three main domestic mobile shopping malls was evaluated using a heuristic evaluation method. The factors that must be considered when producing a mobile website, the consideration for the mobile users, and the main functions of a shopping mall, were considered to define an evaluation form. The results of the evaluation were then analyzed to propose the problems of mobile shopping malls and the directions for their improvement.

  • The launch of internet-only banks has brought many changes. As the existing commercial banks and internet-only banks have started the infinite competition, the maintenance of relationships with customers or the creation of new customers is important. For this, it is meaningful to understand the aspect of customers' perception of value. Thus, this study conducted the empirical analysis on the attitude of the existing phone-banking users after the launch of internet-only banks. First, the reliability and mobility out of the characteristics of the existing mobile service of commercial banks had effects on the perceived switching value while the reactivity had no effects on it. Second, in the results of understanding the effects of diverse benefits from internet-only banks on the perceived value, the economic benefit and convenient benefit had positive(+) effects on the perceived switching value. Lastly, the perceived switching value had positive(+) effects on the use intention.

  • Understanding user acceptance of the Internet, especially the intentions to use Internet commerce and mobile commerce, is important in explaining the fact that these commerce have been growing at an exponential rate in recent years. This paper studies factors of new technology to better understand and manage the electronic commerce activities. The theoretical model proposed in this paper is intended to clarify the factors as they are related to the Technology Acceptance Model. More specifically, the relationship among trust and other factors are hypothesized. Using the Technology Acceptance Model, this research reveals the importance of the hedonic factor. The result of this research implies that the ways of stimulating and facilitating customers' participation in mobile commerce should be differentiated from those in Internet commerce.

  • In the case of mobile internet service using WAP, It was connected to http protocol using WAP Gateway. So, Users take increased cost of mobile internet service. and it was generated inner security problem because it watched user information in the WAP Gateway. To solve this problem we use java language. Which is independant of platform and low cost and intensely security and downloadable application. Additional, Using socket connection, Multi Messaging System(MMS) will connect real time between PC-Client and Mobile-Client, Mobile-Client and Mobile-Client, and so on. In this paper, as design and implementation o( multi messaging used SK-VM based on .12ME, It will be foundation to develop various mobile application in the future.

  • The proliferation of smart devices (such as smart phones and tablet PCs) has led to a marked increase in the use of mobile-based internet. As a result, the influence of the mobile internet has become important to make opinions on social issues. This study explores the effects of mobile internet news users' characteristics on formation of opinions about major political, economic and social issues. We used the data from the media audience awareness survey by the Korean Press Foundation in 2016 and 2017 in this analysis. The characteristics of the news users are gender, age, education, income, news usage days, news usage hours, media application usage days, news gathering application usage days, portal usage days, and media official website usage days. These characteristics are known as possible explanatory variables for the mobile internet news users. Multiple logistic regressions were done with interpretation to know which covariates affect on formation of major opinion.

  • As smartphones and tablets are drastically spreading, mobile IPTV service becomes very important emerging issue in addition to existing DMB broadcasting, and the consumption of personalized multimedia services is increasing in the mobile Internet environment. While the previous research focuses on influencing factors of the initial acceptance intention of the mobile IPTV Service, this study intends to find the factors that affect continuous use intention of the mobile IPTV service which has become one of core services in the mobile environment. The research model and the hypotheses of this study could be derived on the basis of four referent theories (that is, mobile service quality model (MOBISQUAL), post acceptance model (PAM), expectation confirmation theory (ECT) and extended technology acceptance model (ETAM)). In order to empirically test the hypotheses, the field survey was conducted for 278 respondents. Twelve ones of fifteen hypotheses were found to be statistically significantly adopted from the results of structural equation model analyses using Smart PLS 3.0. The theoretical contribution of this study is to empirically investigate the factors that affect the continuous use intention of mobile IPTV service. And the practical contribution is to provide the implementation guidelines of managing the service quality to enhance the competitive power of mobile IPTV business.
