In distributed computing paradigm, mobile surrogate systems migrates from on host in a network to another. However, Mobile surrogate system have not gained wide acceptance because of security concerns that have not been suitably addressed yet. In this paper, we propose a security framework based on Grid Proxy Gateway for mobile Grid service. The current Grid Security Infrastructure is extended to mobile computing environments. The surrogate host system designed for mobile Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) users can access the certified host and get his proxy credential to launch remote job submission securely.

The paper proposes a human-following behavior of mobile robot and an intelligent space (ISpace) is used in order to achieve these goals. An ISpace is a 3-D environment in which many sensors and intelligent devices are distributed. Mobile robots exist in this space as physical agents providing humans with services. A mobile robot is controlled to track a walking human using distributed intelligent sensors as stably and precisely as possible. The moving objects is assumed to be a point-object and projected onto an image plane to form a geometrical constraint equation that provides position data of the object based on the kinematics of the intelligent space. Uncertainties in the position estimation caused by the point-object assumption are compensated using the Kalman filter. To generate the shortest time trajectory to track the walking human, the linear and angular velocities are estimated and utilized. The computer simulation and experimental results of estimating and trackinging of the walking human with the mobile robot are presented.

A mobile agent system is the most common software paradigm for distributed applications. A software development model to develop efficiently for these systems is needed. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a widely used software development model to develop a system for Visualizing, Specifying, Constructing, Documenting. However, UML can not describe in explicit way the necessary mobility of the mobile agent-based software systems. In this paper, the interaction diagrams of UML (sequence diagrams and communication diagrams) are extended and used to express the mobility of the mobile agents in three ways. For a case study, we applied the extended diagrams to a distributed file searching using mobile agents, and showed these diagrams can describe the mobility very well.

본 논문에서는 자율분산로봇의 무선 통신시스템에 관하여 연구하였다. 이동로봇 사이의 협조 동작을 위하여 통신의 구현이 필요하다. 따라서, 우리는 이동로봇에 무선통신시스템을 적용하여 실험하였다. 그리고, 여러 이동로봇 사이의 상호작용을 연구하기 위하여 분산된 제어구조의 개념과 실험적 구조를 설명한다.

분산시스템 환경에 있어서 적합한 개선안으로 믿어지고 있으며, 전자상거래, 이동 컴퓨팅, 원격통신시스템, 정보관리, 정보검색 등의 분야에서 응용이 확산되고 있는 이동에이전트와 분산객체 환경 표준인 CORBA와의 통합은 분산시스템에서 일어나고 있는 여러 가지 문제점들을 효율적으로 개선시킬 수 있다. 그러나, 대단위 분산객체 기술과의 결합은 이동에이전트 시스템을 확장시키고, 다른 에이전트 플랫폼과의 호환성을 보장하지만 그에 대한 역효과로 여러 가지 보안상의 문제점들이 나타나고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 이동에이전트 시스템은 기존의 시스템과는 달리 이동에이전트 표준인 MASIF를 기반으로 하고, MASIF에서 제시한 보안 요구들을 CORBA 보안서비스 명세를 이용하여 구현함으로써 다른 에이전트 플랫폼과의 호환성을 보장할 수 있도록 하여, 추후 전자상거래를 비롯한 다양한 인터넷 서비스들의 대규모 개방형 분산시스템으로의 확장이 가능할 것이다.

As a result of the vast amount of data that is geographically found in different locations. Distributed data mining (DDM) has taken a center stage in data mining. The use of mobile agents to enhance efficiency in DDM has gained the attention of industries, commerce and academia because it offers serious suggestions on how to solve inherent problems associated with DDM. In this paper, a novel DDM model has been proposed by using a mobile agent to enhance efficiency. The main idea behind the model is to use the Naive Bayes algorithm to give the mobile agent the ability to learn, compare, get and store the results on it from each server which has different datasets and we found that the accuracy increased roughly by 0.9% which is our main target.

본 논문에서는 분산 구역에서 이동 싱크의 방문 변경 방식에 대해 고려한다. 원거리 구역으로 나누어진 센서 네트워크의 경우 이동 싱크 시스템은 각 지역을 정해진 방식에 따라 방문한다. 하지만 네트워크의 환경의 특성에 따라 이동 싱크 시스템의 방문이 비정기적이며 방문 지역 또한 달라질 수 있다. 따라서 센서 네트워크에서 수집되는 데이터의 특성에 따라 이동 싱크 시스템의 방문이 실시간적으로 변경되는 것을 고려한다.

Mobile Agent는 네트워크 환경에서 관리자의 작업을 자율적으로 대신 수행하는 이동이 가능한 소프트웨어 프로그램으로 현재 여러 분야에서 응용되어지고 있는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 분산환경에서 mobile agent 기술을 이용한 네트워크 관리 구조를 제안하였다. Mobile agent를 생성한 후 네이밍 서비스에 의해 분산 객체인 SNMP 대리자 프록시를 찾아내고 이후 mobile agent와 프록시 사이의 통신을 통해 필요한 관리정보를 획득하여 관리 시스템으로 전달하게 하였다. 분산환경에서 투명성 제공을 위해 CORBA를 기반으로 하였다. 또한 SNMP 대리자를 위한 프록시를 두어 SNMP 대리자와 CORBA 객체인 mobile agent 간의 통신을 가능하게 하였다. 제안된 구조에서 mobile agent는 자동화된 관리 기능 수행이 가능하며 새로운 관리 기능 추가 및 변경을 용이하게 하므로 효율적인 관리 방식을 제공함을 알 수 있었다.

중첩 융합 네트워크 환경 하에서의 무선 이동통신시스템의 성능개선이 급격히 증가하는 무선 트래픽의 처리를 위해 매우 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 그러므로 단말기의 기능성이 좋아짐에 따라 스마트한 지능을 기반으로 자원의 효과적 활용에 적합한 개별 이종네트워크의 특성분석과 특성을 반영하는 시스템측면의 최적화가 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기지국의 소형화와 지능화가 진행되는 가운데 기지국 hotelling과 같은 기지국 집중화를 통한 통합적 최적화가 가능하므로 이에 대응한 이중 가상 셀 시스템에 대해 살펴보고 활용도 측면의 특성을 분석하였다.

최근 사용자가 위치를 이동하는 도중에도 네트워크에의 연결을 계속해서 유지할 수 있도록 하는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 이동 컴퓨팅 환경을 위해 설계되고 구현되어야 할 요소 중의 하나가 이동 호스트를 고려한 분산 화일 시스템이며 이에는 여러 가지 설계 사항들이 존재한다. 이러한 설계 사항들 중에는 제한된 대역폭 상에서의 통신량 문제와 공유 화일에 대한 여러 사용자들의 수정 충돌(update conflict)로 인하여 발생되는 데이타 일치성 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 이동 클라이언트의 캐쉬 관리를 위하여 약한 연결상태를 이용하는 TWB(Trickle Write-Back) 기법을 제안한다. 본 제안 기법은 불필요한 write-back을 지연시키되 일정시간마다 중간 상태를 write-back 함으로써, 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 중요한 자원인 대역폭을 절약함과 동시에 그로 인한 디스크 낭비와 단절 상황 시에 발생될 위험 부분을 축소하도록 한다. 또한 기존의 분산 화일 시스템 구조를 충분히 이용하면서 사용자에게는 가능한 한 투명성을 제공한다.
