  • In this paper, we use a quadrotor-based mobile sink to gather sensor data from the terrestrial deployed wireless sensor network. By analyzing the flight features of the mobile sink node, we theoretically study the flight constraints of height, velocity, and trajectory of the mobile sink node so as to communicate with the terrestrial wireless sensor network. Moreover, we analyze the data amount which the mobile sink can send when it satisfies these flight constraints. Based on these analysis results, we propose a data acquisition approach for the mobile sink node, which is discussed detailed in terms of network performance such as the transmission delay, packet loss rate, sojourning time and mobile trajectory when given the flying speed and height of the mobile sink node. Extensive simulation results validate the efficiency of the proposed scheme.

  • In this paper, we propsoe a new method of th ecommunication system for cooperative behaviors and works in collective autonomous mobile robots. A communication function among the collective robots is essential to intelligent cooperative works. In genral, global communication is effective for small number of robots. However when the number of robot goes on increasing, this becomes difficult to be realized because of limited communication capacity and increasing amount of information to handle. And also the problems such as communciation interfeence and improper message transmission occur. So we propose local communication system based on infrared sensor to realize the cooperative behavior among robots as the solution of above problem. It is possible to prevent overflow of information and exchange of complex information by fusion sign board model which transmits the information to unspecified robots and message passing model which communicate a specific robot. And we formularize optimal communication range by analysis of information propagation mechanism from the proposed comunication system. At last we verify the effectiveness of the proposed communication system from example of cooperative works.

  • Most of conventional mobile agent systems requre that the users or the programmer should give the mobile agenl its detail behavioral script for accomplishing the given task. And during its runtime, such mobile agents just behave acording to the fixed script given by its user. Therefore it is impossible that conventional mobile agents autonomously build their own plans and execute. There in considering their ultirnale goals and the dynamic world states. One way to overcome such limtations of conventional mobile agent systems is to develop an mielligent mobile agent system ombedding a reactive planner. In this paper, we design both a modelof agent inobility and a model of inter-agent commuication based upon the representative reactive planning agent architecture called JAM. An then we develop an intelligent mobile agent system with planing capability, IMAS, by implementing addtional basic actions for agent moves and inter-agent comunication within JAM according too the predevined models. Unlike conventional mobile agents, IMAS agents can be able to adapt, their behaviors to the dynamic changes of their anvironment as well as build their own plans autonomously. Thus IMAS aents can snow higher flexibility and robustness than the conventional ones.

  • The(Sr$\sub$0.85/Ca$\sub$0.15/) TiO$_3$(SCT) thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode(Pt/TiN/SiO$_2$/Si) using RF sputtering method. The composition of SCT thin films deposited on Si substrate at room temperature is close to stoichiometry(1.102 in A/B ratio). Also, SCT thin films deposited on Pt-coated electrodes have the cubic perovskite structure and polycrystalline state. The maximum dielectric constant of SCT thin films is obtained by annealing at 600[$^{\circ}C$].The dielectric constant changes almost linearly in temperature ranges of -80~+90[$^{\circ}C$].

  • Future mobile communication networks, which consist of ATM-based B-ISDN backbone networks and wireless ATM networks, will provide u user with broadband connection and QoS service. These network systems need the lossless handoff methods which support user mobility, satisfy ATM features such as ATM cell ordering and no ATM cell duplication and minimize buffer requirement for ATM cell buffering. In this paper we suggest a multicast-based handoff method to supp$\alpha$t lossless connection as well as to minimize buffer overhead. It establishes a dynamic multicast connection between source terminal and wireless member AP (access point)s. When the mobile terminal receives data packet correctly, it notifies the positive acknowledgement of the packet to all member APs. And member APs then release the MT related temporary buffer space for MT's future movement. Therefore member APs can eliminate unnecessary buffer usage and manage the buffer space efficiently. Analysis result shows that our handoff method has better performance in buffer requirement for lossless and seamless connection services over VCT (virtual connection tree) method and other dynamic multicast-based handoff methods.
