DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications)는 사설교환기에 이동서비스를 제공하기 위한 통신규약으로 셀 반경이 100∼200 m 정도인 협역상의 이동서비스를 제공하는 초소형 셀룰라(pico-cellular) 방식이고, PSTN을 이용한 저가형 통신서비스를 제공함으로써 빌딩의 옥내형 이동통신을 위한 GSM의 이상적인 보완책으로 각광을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 링크제어, 오류제어, 시퀀스제어, 흐름제어 기능의 수행으로 상위 네트워크 계층에게 신뢰성 있는 통신 링크를 제공하고, 가입자 수용용량의 증대를 위해 증설되는 기지국과 기지국 접속장치의 위치에 무관하게 실시간 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 데이타 링크제어 계층의 구현을 위해 이의 구조와 기능을 분석하고 설계하였다.

Uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become a vital element in nonterrestrial networks, especially with respect to 5G communication systems and beyond. The use of UAVs in support of 4G/5G base station (uncrewed aerial vehicle base station [UAV-BS]) has proven to be a practical solution for extending cellular network services to areas where conventional infrastructures are unavailable. In this study, we introduce a UAV-BS system that utilizes a high-capacity wireless backhaul operating in millimeter-wave frequency bands. This system can achieve a maximum throughput of 1.3 Gbps while delivering data at a rate of 300 Mbps, even at distances of 10 km. We also present the details of our testbed implementation alongside the performance results obtained from field tests.

Recently, with the development of mobile computing power, mobile-based VR and AR services are being developed. Due to network performance and computing power constraints, VR and AR services using large-capacity 3D content have limitations. A study on an efficient 3D content load method for a mobile device is required. The conventional method downloads all 3D content used for AR services at the same time. In this paper, we propose an active 3D content load according to the user's track. The proposed method is a partitioned 3D object load. Edge servers were installed for each area and connected through the MESH network. Partitioned load the required 3D object in the area referring to the user's location. The location is identified through the edge server information of the connected AP. The performance of the proposed method and the conventional method was compared. As a result of the comparison, the proposed method showed a stable Mobile AR Service. The results of this study, it is expected to contribute to the activation of edge server-based AR mobile services.

웹서비스는 웹의 구조를 서비스 기반의 보다 진화된 형태로 변화시키고 있는 가장 핵심적인 기술이며, 이러한 기술을 PDA, 스마트폰 등의 다양한 모바일 디바이스에서 효과적으로 적용하는 방법에 대한 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 특히, 우리나라는 CDMA 기반의 효율적이고 체계적인 모바일 환경을 갖추고 있으므로, 최근 크게 이슈가 되고 있는 웹서비스를 모바일 환경에 적용 및 활용 방법에 대한 연구를 수행하기에 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 모바일 환경에서 웹서비스를 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 방법으로 다양한 기능을 수행하는 인터미디어리 기반의 모바일 웹서비스 프레임워크에 대하여 설명한다.

Communication infrastructure supports wide variety of mobile services such as photo and file sharing, location tracking, social network services and instant messaging. However, instances like power-loss and natural disasters disrupt these communication infrastructures unable to render support to these mobile services. Delay-tolerant networks (DTNs) offer a solution to these problems at hand. By utilizing mobility and opportunistic contacts among mobile devices, a plausible communication network can be establish and enable support to mobile applications. This paper presents an energy-efficient, reliable message delivery routing scheme with message prioritization rules for DTN. It uses the context information of nodes (mobile devices) such as the contact history (location and time of contact), speed/velocity, moving direction to determine the best forwarders among nodes in the network. The remaining energy of the nodes is also used to determine the message types a node can deliver successfully. The simulation results show that proposed approach outperforms Epidemic and Prophet routing schemes in terms of delivery ratio, overhead ratio, delivered messages per types and remaining energy.

사람은 타인과 새로운 관계를 맺거나, 기존의 관계를 유지하거나, 관계를 끊는 등의 행동을 하며 사회 공동체속에서 살아간다. 다른 사람과의 관계는 커뮤니케이션을 기반으로 한 사회적인 활동을 전제로 이루어진다. 일반적으로 커뮤니케이션을 통해 정보와 감정을 교류함으로써 관계가 형성되고 유지되며, 활발한 커뮤니케이션을 통해 관계를 강화하는 활동을 하게 된다 최근 10년 사이에 기술과 정보통신의 발달로 새롭게 등장한 커뮤니케이션 채널이라 할 수 있는 휴대전화는, 이제 유선전화 시장을 넘어서 거의 전국민이 사용할 만큼 보편화되어 인간에게 매우 친밀하고 중요한 수단으로 자리잡았다. 이제 사람들은 일상생활 속에서 휴대전화와 거의 모든 시간, 장소에 함께 하며 타인과의 커뮤니케이션을 위한 채널을 열어둔다. 이렇게 휴대전화는 사람들의 인간 관계를 유지, 보수, 강화하는 데에 매우 긴밀하게 사용할 수 도구이지만, 인간관계 관리의 측면에서 보면 단순히 커뮤니케이션을 도와주는 역할에 머무르고 있으며 실제적인 관계 관리에 능동적인 도움을 주지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 커뮤니케이션의 주 도구로 사용되는 휴대전화의 사용을 바탕으로 사용자의 인간 관계관리를 도와주기 위한 지원 서비스를 제공하고자 하였다. 휴대전화 사용 정보를 바탕으로 커뮤니케이션이 필요한 대상을 알려주어 사용자로 하여금 현재의 관계 상황을 이해하고 커뮤니케이션 행위, 즉 관계관리로 이어지도록 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 모바일 커뮤니케이션에서의 관계 특성을 활용하여 사용자와 대상간의 친밀도를 추출하는 방법을 수립하고 휴대전화를 통해 인간관계 관리를 지원하는 서비스의 프로토타입을 제작하였다.

The global positioning system (GPS)-enabled mobile phones provide location-based applications such as car and pedestrian navigation services. The pedestrian navigation services provide safe and comfortable route and path guidance for pedestrians and handicapped or elderly people. One of the essential components for a navigation system is a spatial database used to perform navigation and routing functions. In this paper, we develop modeling and categorization of pedestrian path components for smart tour guide services using the mobile pedestrian navigation application. We create pedestrian networks using 2D base map and sky view map in urban area. We also construct pedestrian networks and attributes of node, link, and POI using on-site GPS data and photos for smart pedestrian tour guide in the major walking tourist spots in Jeju.

This study is to focus on the users of mobile communication services in Pusan metropolitan city. First this study measured the levels of consumer dissatisfaction and consumer complaining behavior. Second, this study analyzed a causal-effect on variables affecting consumer complaining behavior. The findings of this study are as follows ; 1) In area of contract and cost, variables directly and indirectly affecting consumer complaining behavior were sex, age, consumer knowledge, complaining behavior experience, attribution, and consumer dissatisfaction. 2) In area of use, variables directly and indirectly affecting consumer complaining behavior were sex, consumer knowledge, complaining behavior experience, attribution, and consumer dissatisfaction. 3) In area of services, variables directly and indirectly affecting consumer complaining behavior were sex, consumer knowledge, consumer function, complaining behavior experience, attribution, and consumer dissatisfaction.

최근 연안지역에 선박 통항량, 다양한 양식업, 어로, 그리고 레저 활동이 증가하고 있어, 이에 따라 안전한 항해 통신 정보를 위한 다양한 통신 서비스가 요구되어 왔다. 본 논문은 다중 인터페이스를 가진 이동 IP 라우터를 이용한 해안 지역에서 통신 서비스 지원 방안에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여, 이 시스템은 선박에게 다양한 통신 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 WiBro, HSDPA, 그리고 WLAN와 같은 무선 인터페이스를 가지고 있어, 해안을 따라서 설치된 무선망을 통하여 선박에게 다양한 정보통신 서비스를 실시간으로 제공할 수 있다. 따라서 이 시스템은 공인된 끊김 없는 정보 통신 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 인프라를 제공할 수 있다.
