Flavin-Viologen 복합 LB막으로 구성된 분자광다이오드에서의 광유도 전자전달 (Photoinduced Electron Transfer in Molecular Photodiode Consisted of Flavin-Viologen Hetero-LB Films)

  • A molecular photodiode was fabricated with hetero-Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film consisting of an electron accepter(A) and sensitizer. N-Allyl-N-[3-propylamido-N\",N\"-야(n-octadecyl)]-4,4-bipyridum Dibromide and 7,8-dimethyl-10-dodecyl isoalloxan-zine were used as A and S units, respectively. By aligning hefter-LB film of A/S units on ITO glass with an aluminium thin film, a molecular photodiode with the structure of Metal/Insulator/Metal(MIM) was constructed. Due to excitation by irradiation with a 460nm monochromatic light source, the photo-induced unidirectional flow of electrons in the MIM device could be achieved and was detected as photocurrents. The direction of energy flow was in accordance with the energy level profile across the LB films. The photo switching function was achieved and the rectifying characteristics was obserbed in the molecular devise.

Bipolar Resistance Switching Characteristics of $NiO_{1+x}$ films with Adding Higher-Valence Impurities

  • The effects of adding higher-valence impurities on the bipolar resistive switching characteristics of Pt/$NiO_{1+x}$/TiN MIM stacks and physical properties were investigated. $NiO_{1+x}$ films with 14% W deposited at 20% oxygen partial pressure exhibited the bipolar resistance switching characteristics in Pt/$NiO_{1+x}$/TiN MIM stacks, while $NiO_{1+x}$ films with 8.2% W show unipolar resistance switching behavior. The relationship of W-doping and the crystallinity was studied by X-ray diffraction. The metallic Ni contents and $WO_x$ binding states with W amount was investigated by XPS. Our result showed that the metallic Ni, $WO_x$ binding states, and crystallinity in $NiO_{1+x}$ played an important role on the bipolar resistive switching.

  • Mucolipidosis type II (MLII; MIM#252500) and type III alpha/beta (MLIIIA; MIM#252600) very rare lysosomal storage disease cause by reduced enzyme activity of GlcNAc-1-phosphotransferase. ML II is caused by a total or near total loss of GlcNAc-1-phosphotransferase activity whether enzymatic activity in patient with ML IIIA is reduced. While ML II and ML III share similar clinical features, including skeletal abnormalities, ML II is the more severe in terms of phenotype. ML III is a much milder disorder, being characterized by latter onset of clinical symptoms and slower progressive course. GlcNAc-1-phosphotransferase is encoded by two genes, GNPTAB and GNPTG, mutations in GNPTAB give rise to ML II or ML IIIA. To date, more than 100 different GNPTAB mutations have been reported, causing either ML II or ML IIIA. Despite development of new diagnostic approach and understanding of disease mechanism, there is no specific treatment available for patients with ML II and ML IIIA yet, only supportive and symptomatic treatment is indicated.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근에 주목 받고 있는 물질인 이온성액체를 실험실 규모로 제조하여 회분식 기-액 흡수평형(VLE)장치를 이용하여 압력에 따른 이산화탄소 용해도 및 초기흡수속도를 상용 이온성액체인 $PF_6$와 비교분석 하였다. 반응온도 $40^{\circ}C$조건에서 운전하였으며, 이산화탄소 압력 0~40기압 범위에서 수행되었다. 실험결과 methyl기가 붙은 합성 이온성액체의 경우 초기흡수속도면에서 상용 이온성액체인 $PF_6$보다는 다소 낮은 수준이다.

  • Recently, the study on development of electrical and electronic device is done to get miniature, high degrees of integration and efficiency by using inorganic materials. the study of Langmuir-Boldgett(LB) method that uses organic materials because of the limitation for the ultrasmall size. The structure of MIM(Metal-Insulator-Metal) device is Cr-Au/ PBLG/ Al. the number of accumulated layers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. The I-V characteristic of the device is measured from 0[V] to 2[V] and the characteristic of current-time of the devices. We have investigated the capacitance because PBLG system have a accumulated layers the maximum value of measured current is increased as the number of accumulated layers are decreased. The capacitor properties of a thin film is better as the distance between electrodes is smaller. The results have shown the insulating materials and could control the conductivity by accumulated layers.

  • This paper, experiment manufactures device of Metal/Poly-${\gamma}$ Benzyl $_D$-GlutamateOrganic Films/Metal structure using PBDG and I-V properties and C-F properties. The I-V characteristic is measured that approve voltage from 0 to +2[V] of device and the distance between electrode is larger, could know that small current flow and thin film could know that had insulation property. C-F characteristic has each other affinity between the polarization amount and frequency. Permittivity of MIM device could know by dipole that is voluntary polarization of LB film that polarization is happened. The capacitor properties of a thin film is better as the distance between electrodes is smaller.

  • Ti-6Al-4V has low specific gravity, high corrosion resistance and superior mechanical properties but it is very difficult to control oxygen content in MIM process. It is necessary to use powders with coarse particle size to decrease oxygen content of powders, so feedstocks with poor fluidity and sintered bodies with lower density are obtained in such cases. Fine titanium hydride-dehydride powders were blended with atomized powders to accomplish higher fluidity and sintered density. Sintered bodies had higher sintered density and mechanical properties equivalent to those of wrought materials by controlling oxygen content less than 0.35mass%.

Structural Analysis of Conductive Polypyrroles Synthesized in an Ionic Liquid

  • Nano-structured conducting polypyrroles were synthesized in the ionic liquids (ILs) based on 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium family with tetrachloroferrate as an anion ($C_n\;mim\;[FeCl_4]\;with\;n\;=\;4,\;8,\;and\;12$). The polypyrrole nanostructures synthesized in ILs were formed as spherical shapes. For ionic liquids with alkyl side chain length $C_4,\;C_4\;mim\;[FeCl_4]$, the size of particles was ranged around 60-nm with a relatively narrow size distribution. As the length of alkyl chain increases, the particle sizes become larger and their distributions become wider. The self-assembled local structures in the solvent ionic liquids are likely to serve as templates of highly organized nano-structured polymers. The length of the alkyl chain in ionic liquids seems to affect these local structures.

MIM 세라믹 박막 구조의 특성 분석 (Properties of MIM Ceramic Thin Film Structure)

  • The SCT thin films were deposited on Pt-coated electrode using RF sputtering method according to the deposition condition. The crystallinity of SCT thin films were increased with increase of deposition temperature in the temperature range of 100~500[$^{\circ}C$]. The optimum conditions of RF power and Ar/$O_2$ ratio were 140[W] and 80/20, respectively. Deposition rate of SCT thin films was about 18.75[$\AA$/min] at the optimum condition. The maximum dielectric constant of SCT thin film was obtained by annealing at $600^{\circ}C$.

  • The physical properties of DMPC monolayer were made for dielectric relaxation phenomena by the detection of the surface pressures and displacements current. The current was measured after the electric bias across the manufactured MIM device. It is found that the phospolipid monolayer of dielectric relaxation takes a little time and depend on the molecular area. When electric bias is applied across the manufactured MIM device by the deposition condition of phospolipid mono-layer, it wasn't breakdown when the higher electric field to impress by increase of deposition layers.
