Security Clustering Algorithm Based on Integrated Trust Value for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Network

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) network are a very vibrant research area nowadays. They have many military and civil applications. Limited bandwidth, the high mobility and secure communication of micro UAVs represent their three main problems. In this paper, we try to address these problems by means of secure clustering, and a security clustering algorithm based on integrated trust value for UAVs network is proposed. First, an improved the k-means++ algorithm is presented to determine the optimal number of clusters by the network bandwidth parameter, which ensures the optimal use of network bandwidth. Second, we considered variables representing the link expiration time to improve node clustering, and used the integrated trust value to rapidly detect malicious nodes and establish a head list. Node clustering reduce impact of high mobility and head list enhance the security of clustering algorithm. Finally, combined the remaining energy ratio, relative mobility, and the relative degrees of the nodes to select the best cluster head. The results of a simulation showed that the proposed clustering algorithm incurred a smaller computational load and higher network security.

  • Sensor networks are the results of convergence of very important technologies such as wireless communication and micro electromechanical systems. In recent years, sensor networks found a wide applicability in various fields such as health, environment and habitat monitoring, military, etc. A very important step for these many applications is pattern classification and recognition of data collected by sensors installed or deployed in different ways. But, pattern classification and recognition are sometimes difficult to perform. Systematic approach to pattern classification based on modern teaming techniques like Multivariate Gaussian mixture models, can greatly simplify the process of developing and implementing real-time classification models. This paper proposes a new recognition system which is hierarchically composed of many sensor nodes haying the capability of simple processing and wireless communication. The proposed system is able to perform classification of sensed data using the Multivariate Gaussian function. In order to verify the usefulness of the proposed system, it was applied to hand gesture recognition system.

  • 1960년대부터 최고 2K까지의 극저온 냉각이 필요한 부품을 탑재하는 위성체의 개발에 극저온 냉각기술들이 채택되어왔다. 최근에는 과학용, 군사용 및 기상관측 임무용등 적외선 광학계를 탑재한 위성개발 프로그램 이 급격히 증가함에 따라 극저온 기술의 괄목할만한 성장을 이루고 있다. 일반적으로 극저온 냉각기술은 적외선 광학계 내에 존재하는 잡음을 최소화하기 위하여 광학 요소 및 검출기를 냉각하는데 사용되며, 요구온도, 열량 및 작동 수명에 따라 요구되는 냉각기술이 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 최근의 우주용 극저온 냉각기술의 동향에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

  • The research on electromagnetic shielding has been advanced for military applications as well as for commercial products. Utilizing the reflective properties and absorptive properties of shielding material, the replied signal measured at the rear surface or at the signal source can be minimized. The shielding effect was obtained from materials having special absorptive properties or from structural characteristics such as stacking sequence. Recently researchers studied the electromagnetic properties of nano size particles. In this research {glass fiber}/{epoxy}/{nano particle} composites(GFR-Nano composites), was fabricated using various nano particles, and their properties in electromagnetic shielding were compared. For the visual observation of the nano composite materials, SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) and TEM(Transmission Electron Microscope) were used. For the measurement of electromagnetic shielding, HP8719ES S-parameter Vector Network Analyser System was used on the frequency range of 8 GHz~12GHz. Among the nano particles, carbon black and Multi-Walled Carbon Nano-Tube (MWCNT) revealed outstanding electromagnetic shielding. Although silver nano particles (flake and powder) were expected to have effective electromagnetic shielding due to their excellent electric conductivities, test showed little shielding effect.

스테레오 카메라의 양안 시차를 이용한 거리 계측의 고속 연산 알고리즘 (An Efficient Algorithm for 3-D Range Measurement using Disparity of Stereoscopic Camera)

  • 거리 계측 시스템은 물체까지의 거리를 삼차원 좌표계에서 측정하는 장치이다. 군용 장비나 건설, 항해, 검사 조립, 로봇 비전 등에 널리 사용되는 무접촉식 원격 거리 계측(ranging) 시스템은 자동화 응용에 매우 중요하다. 계측 방식은 active와 passive방식으로 구분되는데, active방식은 laser나 microwave, 초음파 등의 time of flight를 이용하거나 레이저 조사(illumination)에 대한 카메라 영상을 해석하는 등의 다양한 방식이 있으나 장치가 복잡하며, passive 방식은 stereo camera의 양안영상을 이용하거나 focus특성을 이용하는 방식 등이 있으나 대부분 연산시간이 많이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 수동식 스테레오 카메라에서 양안시차를 산출하여 triangulation으로 목표전의 거리를 측정하는 방식에서, 연산 시간이 많이 소요되는 과정을 고속으로 처리하는 새로운 방식을 제안하였다. 즉, 목표점에서의 양안 edge 영상을 구하고, 이 영상의 projection profile을 cross correlation하여, 시차를 고속으로 산출해 거리를 구하는 알고리즘을 제안하였으며, 이 방식의 효율성을 실험 결과를 통하여 보였다.

  • Task environment for enterprises and public institutions are moving into cyberspace-based environment and structing the LTE wireless network. The applications "App" operated in the LTE wireless network are mostly being developed with Android-based. But Android-based malwares are surging and they are the potential DDoS attacks. DDoS attack is a major information security threat and a means of cyber attacks. DDoS attacks are difficult to detect in advance and to defense effectively. To this end, a DMZ is set up in front of a network infrastructure and a particular server for defensive information security. Because There is the proliferation of mobile devices and apps, and the activation of android diversify DDoS attack methods. a DMZ is a limit to detect and to protect against DDoS attacks. This paper proposes an information security method to detect and Protect DDoS attacks from the terminal phase using a Preemptive military strategy concept. and then DDoS attack detection and protection app is implemented and proved its effectiveness by reducing web service request and memory usage. DDoS attack detection and protecting will ensure the efficiency of the mobile network resources. This method is necessary for a continuous usage of a wireless network environment for the national security and disaster control.

OSEK/VDX Porting to the Two-Wheel Mobile Robot Based on the Differential Drive Method

  • In this paper, we propose an implementation of a real-time operating system for the two-wheel mobile robot. With this implementation, we have the ability to control the complex embedded systems of the two-wheel mobile robot. The advantage of the real-time operating system is increasing the reliability and stability of the two-wheel mobile robot when they work in critical environments such as military and industrial applications. The real-time operating system which was ported to this implementation is open systems and the corresponding interfaces for automotive electronics (OSEK/VDX). It is known as the set of specifications on automotive operating systems, published by a consortium founded by the automotive industry. The mechanical design and kinematics of the two-wheel mobile robot are described in this paper. The contributions of this paper suggest a method for adapting and porting OSEK/VDX real-time operating system to the two-wheel mobile robot with the differential drive method, and we are also able to apply the real-time operating system to any complex embedded system easily.

히스토그램 보정을 이용한 고신뢰성 영상 인증 기법 (The High-Reliable Image Authentication Technique using Histogram Compensation)

  • 영상 인증 알고리즘은 군사, 의료 분야 및 스캔된 증빙 문서, 계약서 등 민감한 분야에서 필요하며 원본에 대한 위조 여부를 증명하여야 한다. 인증 분야에서는 지각적 비가시성과 연성이 필요하다. 워터마크의 용량은 클수록 좋으며, 워터마크된 영상만으로 워터마크 추출이 가능한 블라인드 워터마킹은 구현이 어렵지만 가장 바람직하다. 또한 워터마크 추출 과정에서 거짓 긍정과 거짓 부정의 오류가 발생하지 않는 신뢰성은 필수적이다. 이 연구에서는 DCT의 고주파 영역에 계수를 조정하여 워터마크를 삽입하며, 신뢰성을 높이기 위하여 필요하다면 원본 영상의 명도 히스토그램을 보정하는 방법을 사용한다. 실험 결과에서는 제안한 알고리즘이 높은 PSNR 값에 의한 지각적 비가시성, 연성, 블라인드 특성을 만족시키며, 스테가노그라피 응용에 적용 가능할 정도로 큰 워터마크의 용량과 히스토그램의 보정에 의한 신뢰성을 가진 것으로 나타났다.

외부충격 흡수를 위한 쿼드콥터의 보호 장치 개발 (Development of Protective Device for Quadcopter on Impact)

  • Recently, research and interests in pilotless and radio-controlled quadcopters have increased due to military, hobby, and air-photo applications. However, quadcopters are fragile and can very easily to break when they crash. Therefore, it is necessary to create a protective device such that these devices can protect the main board, motor, and propellers from outside impacts. In this paper, a protective device for a quadcopter is designed in the form of a circle to disperse shock. Also, a dropping and impact simulation was performed to verify that the quadcopter can be efficiently protected when using the proposed device, created with the commercial finite element software Solidworks.

한국 온라인게임 산업의 서비스 혁신패턴 분석 (Analysis of Innovation Patterns of Korean Online Game Industry)

  • Using the service innovation system model, the development of Korean online game industry is analyzed. The model proposed by Gallouj (2002) is modified in order to reflect IT service characteristics such as network externalities. Success factors and innovations patterns of Korean online game industry are examined. First, at the early stage of her growth, Korean online game industry was not supported or coordinated by any Government policies unlike DRAM, CDMA or TFT-LCD. Many parts of technical and service innovations were unintentionally initiated by online game developing ventures without predeterminde strategies. Second, the online game industry is basically a service industry so that users' needs and technical and service characteristics are intertwined to produce innovation. The innovation system of the online game industry is quite different from conventional product technological innovation systems in a sense that there are no blueprints for innovation as well as major players in the system. Third, Government's policies for promotion of IT industry such as the broadband infrastructure installation policy, the hi-tech venture promotion policy and the military exemption policy contributed greatly to development of the online game industry. However, these policy tools were not intended for online game industry but in the end gave a great impact on the service innovation system of the online game industry.
