복합소재패널을 이용한 반강접 중저층 강골조의 내진성능평가 (Evalution of Earthquake Resistance capacity of Semi-rigid Mid/Low-rise Steel Frame using Composite Panel)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 복합소재패널 즉 FRP 내력패널을 이용한 반강접 강골조의 내진성능평가이다. 강골조의 최적내진보강을 제안하기 위하여 중약지진 규모의 지진자료를 이용하여 모멘트골조에 복합소재패널의 보강위치를 바뀌어가며 해석을 수행하였다. 복합소재패널이 보강된 강골조의 지진해석은 시간이력해석을 이용하여 수행하였으며, 활용된 지반운동자료는 미국 NEHRP 프로젝트의 모멘트저항 골조에 활용한 자료 중, 50년 동안 지진이 일어날 가능성 10%, 50%의 확률을 가진 지진 20개씩을 활용하였다. 접합부는 현장에 많이 쓰이고 있는 반강접 접합부를 고려하였으며, 복합소재패널 연결부는 비선형 연결요소는 GAP을 사용하였다. 복합소재패널을 이용한 강골조가 패널을 보강하지 않은 무보강에 비해 보강패턴에 따라 보강효과를 검증해 보았으며, 보강 후 구조물응답에 대하여 고찰하였다.

Theoretical and experimental serviceability performance of SCCs connections

  • The Self Compacting Concrete, SCC is the new generation type of concrete which is not needed to be compacted by vibrator and it will be compacted by its own weight. Since SCC is a new innovation and also the high strength self compacting concrete, HSSCC behavior is like a brittle material, therefore, understanding the strength effect on the serviceability performance of reinforced self compacting concretes is critical. For this aim, first the normal and high strength self compacting concrete, NSSCC and HSSCC was designed. Then, the serviceability performance of reinforced connections consisting of NSSCC and HSSCC were investigated. Twelve reinforced concrete connections (L = 3 m, b = 0.15 m, h = 0.3 m) were simulated, by this concretes, the maximum and minimum reinforcement ratios ${\rho}$ and ${\rho}^{\prime}$ (percentage of tensile and compressive steel reinforcement) are in accordance with the provision of the ACI-05 for conventional RC structures. This study was limited to the case of bending without axial load, utilizing simple connections loaded at mid span through a stub (b = 0.15 m, h = 0.3 m, L = 0.3 m) to simulate a beam-column connection. During the test, concrete and steel strains, deflections and crack widths were measured at different locations along each member. Based on the experimental readings and observations, the cracked moment of inertia ($I_{cr}$) of members was determined and the results were compared with some selective theoretical methods. Also, the flexural crack widths of the members were measured and the applicability for conventional vibrated concrete, as for ACI, BS and CSA code, was verified for SCCs members tested. A comparison between two Codes (ACI and CSA) for the theoretical values cracking moment is indicate that, irrespective of the concrete strength, for the specimens reported, the prediction values of two codes are almost equale. The experimental cracked moment of inertia $(I_{cr})_{\exp}$ is lower than its theoretical $(I_{cr})_{th}$ values, and therefore theoretically it is overestimated. Also, a general conclusion is that, by increasing the percentage of ${\rho}$, the value of $I_{cr}$ is increased.

도시성장에 따른 공간구조의 변화에 관한 연구 -의정부시의 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on Changes and Differences in Spatial Configuration of the Urban Sub-Area Development - In the Case of Uijeongbu City)

  • Transformations of the urban spatial structure, from sub-area redevelopment to newtown development, results great influences upon existing urban condition and spatial configuration. The purpose of the study is to analyse the effect of the urban spatial configuration of Uijongbu city where experienced changes after newly development of city center and new residential area. The west part of the city where is limited in growth by military bases, ego U.S Army basecamp, were planned and established as the other axis of the city center since mid 1980's. After that new residential area which is located in far east of the city were also developed. Space syntax as a methodology has been adopted to conduct quantitative analysis which is able to interpret differences between sub-areas ; old city center, new city center, new residential area. The results of the analysis are follows ; 1) existing structure of the urban fabric, especially old city center, is sustained and intensified, 2) new city center which is west part of the city has failed to achieve organic spatial connection adjacent to old city center, 3) there is less spatial depecdency relationship between city center and new residential area where is identified as another small self-support city within the city.

쉴드터널 라이닝 사다리꼴 세그먼트의 연결방법 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Connection for Shield Tunnel Lining Using Trapezoidal Segments)

  • 쉴드터널에서 사용이 증가되고 있는 사다리꼴 세그먼트는 연결봉과 연결쐐기를 사용하여 세그먼트를 조립함으로서 터널라이닝을 형성하게 된다. 이 경우 사다리꼴 세그먼트의 테이퍼 각도를 크게 할수록 조립시공이 용이하고, 또한 지수재의 밀림현상을 줄일 수 있지만 반면 연결부의 구조적 안정성은 감소하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 단면형상이 불규칙한 세그먼트와 여러가지 부속재가 3차원적으로 연결되는 쉴드터널에 대해 현장의 시공과정을 모사하여 3차원 해석을 수행하였으며, 사다리꼴 세그먼트의 테이퍼 각도변화$(0^{\citc$\mid$,\; 10${\circ},\; 20^{\circ})$에 따른 연결부의 작용력을 구하여 연결부에 대한 마찰저항력 시험결과와 비교, 분석함으로서 연결부에 대한 개선방안을 모색하였다.

  • 피조개, Anadara broughtonii(SCHRENCK)는 근년에 와서 산업적 가치가 높아짐에 따라 중요 양식대상종으로 많은 연구의 대상이 되고 있다. 인공 및 천연채묘에 관해서는 관야91963), 이등 외(1967), 금정 외(1969), 전중(1971)등의 연구와 중간양성에 관해서는 관야 외91966)의 연구가 보고되고 있으며 유91969, 1970)는 먹이 및 성장에 관해서 보고한 바 있다. 본고에서는 피조개의 산란 및 유생의 출현상황과 분표에 영향을 미칠것으로 추측되는 몇가지 환경요인을 관찰하여 검토한 결과를 보고한다.

  • 본 연구는 중층철골 구조물 공업화방안에 관한 연구의 기초단계로서 앵글과 고력볼트를 사용한 콘크리트충전 각형강관기둥 H형강보 접합부의 구조적 거동을 파악하는데, 그 목적이 있다. 실험은 앵글의 두께를 주요변수로 하여 정적하중 하에 5종류의 시험체에 대해 실행되었다. 내력추정식은 접합부의 강도를 상계정리에 의한 하한값으로 구하는 항복선 이론을 적용하여 제시하였다.

Galaxy Clusters in ELAIS-N1 field

  • Galaxy clusters, the largest gravitationally bound systems, are an important means to place constraints on cosmological models. Moreover, they are excellent places to test galaxy evolution models in connection to the environments. To this day, massive clusters have been found unexpectedly(Kang & Im 2009, Durret et al. 2011, Tashikawa et al. 2012) and evolution of galaxies in cluster have been still controversial (Elbaz et al. 2007, Cooper et al. 2008, Tran et al. 2009). Finding galaxy cluster candidates in a wide, deep imaging survey data will enable us to solve the such issues of modern extragalactic astronomy. We have used multi-wavelength data from the UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey Deep Extragalactic Survey (UKIDSS DXS/J and K bands), Spitzer Wise-area InfraRed Extragalactic survey (SWIRE/two mid-infrared bands), the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System (PAN-STARRS/ g, r, i, z, y bands) and Infrared Medium-deep Survey(IMS/J band). We report new candidates of galaxy clusters and properties of their member galaxies in one of the wide and deep survey fields ELAIS-N1, European Large Area ISO Survey North1, covering sky area of $8.75deg^2$.

선암사 '대각국사중창건도'연구 -제작시기와 배경을 중심으로- (A Study on 'Monk Daegwak's Joongchanggundo' at Seon-Am Temple -Mainly about the Time of Drawing and Background-)

  • There is a temple drawing called Monk Daegwak's Joongchanggundo at Seon-Am Temple of which the time of creation is unknown. This drawing shows the details of Seon-Am Temple and surrounding areas well, which helps to understand the construction of Seon-Am Temple and other small mountain temples. The records on the top also describe the surrounding landscape in the Fengshui aspect, and describes the number of buildings at Seon-Am Temple. According to the construction style that gives clues about the age of this drawing, the time range can be narrowed down in order to approximate the age of this drawing through the Buddhist trends of Seon-Am Temple. In the results, it was estimated that the drawing dates back to the time when Seon-Am Temple flourished in the mid-18th Century as it's competition with the temple of Songgwang actually began. Buddhism considers the relationship between teacher and student as the most important and the principals were delivered through this relationship. Therefore, the activities to increase the connection between monks and this drawing were created in order to indicate the atmosphere of the Seon-Am Temple of the time.

Study of central buckle effects on flutter of long-span suspension bridges

  • To investigate the effects of central buckles on the dynamic behavior and flutter stability of long-span suspension bridges, four different connection options between the main cable and the girder near the mid-span position of the Aizhai Bridge were studied. Based on the flutter derivatives obtained from wind tunnel tests, formulations of self-excited forces in the time domain were obtained using a nonlinear least square fitting method and a time-domain flutter analysis was realized. Subsequently, the influences of the central buckles on the critical flutter velocity, flutter frequency, and three-dimensional flutter states of the bridge were investigated. The results show that the central buckles can significantly increase the frequency of the longitudinal floating mode of the bridge and have greater influence on the frequencies of the asymmetric lateral bending mode and asymmetric torsion mode than on that of the symmetric ones. As such, the central buckles have small impact on the critical flutter velocity due to that the flutter mode of the Aizhai Bridge was essentially the symmetric torsion mode coupled with the symmetric vertical mode. However, the central buckles have certain impact on the flutter mode and the three-dimensional flutter states of the bridge. In addition, it is found that the phenomenon of complex beat vibrations (called intermittent flutter phenomenon) appeared in the flutter state of the bridge when the structural damping is 0 or very low.

High redshift galaxy clusters in ELAIS-N1/N2 fields with a new color selection technique

We also suggest a new useful color selection technique to separate 1 < z < 2 galaxies from low-z galaxies by combining multi-wavelength data from the UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey Deep Extragalactic Survey (UKIDSS DXS/J and K band), Spitzer Wise-area InfraRed Extragalactic survey (SWIRE/two mid-infrared bands), Canada France Hawaii Telescope (CFHT/z band), Issac Newton Telescope(INT/ u, g, r, i, z band) and Infrared Medium-deep Survey(IMS/J band).
