대전시 상업지역 주거복합건축물 사례 분석을 통한 관리방안 연구 (A Study on Management Plans through Case Analysis of Residential Complexes in Commercial Areas in Daejeon)

  • 최근 대도시 상업지역 내 주거복합건축물의 입지로 인해 도시기능이 상업기능에서 주거기능으로 전환되고 있다. 대전광역시 상업지역 내 용도용적제를 개선하기 위해 특·광역시의 제도를 비교분석하고, 사업대상지 8개소를 분석하여 문제점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 주거복합건축물의 용도 분류의 명확화, 둘째, 상업지역의 기능 상실에 대한 도시 계획적 불균형, 셋째, 개발밀도의 차이로 도시환경의 훼손이다. 이에 개선방안으로는 첫째, 주거기능과 용도복합의 비율을 최소 10% 이상 확보하고, 둘째, 다양한 용도와 기능을 융·복합화된 시설을 유도하여 도시경쟁력을 확보하고, 용도용적제 폐지를 통한 공동주택의 일괄적인 용적률을 적용하며, 셋째, 지구단위계획 수립 및 자문을 통한 개발밀도를 제시하였다.

원격탐사기법에 의한 도시열섬 연구 (A study on urban heat islands over the metropolitan Seoul area, using satellite images)

  • 도시기후와 같은 소기후를 연구하기 위하여는 도시는 물론 그 주변의 농촌지역에 이르기까지 조밀한 기상관측망이 필요하다. 그러나 한국에서 뿐만 아니라 선진제국에서도 기상관측망의 밀도가 도시기후를 파악하기에 충분할 만큼 조밀하지 못한 실정에 있다. 이러한 상항하에서 도시기후에 관하여 연구하려면 기초자료부터 측정하여야하는 어려움이 있으며, 따라서 그 연구의 필요성은 절감하면서도 실제적인 연구는 극히 부진하여 그 범위도 대단히 한정되어 있다. 1960년에 TIROS 1호가 미국에서 발사된 이래 다수의 기상위성이 궤도상에서 선회하며 많은 기상정보를 지상으로 보내주고 있다. 그리하여 현장관측이 어려운 각종 기상현상에 관한 정보를 짧은 시간안에, 그리고 경우에 따라서는 적은 비용으로 입수할 수 있게 됨으로써 기상연구에 박차가 가하여지게 되었다. 특히 최근에는 컴퓨터 프로그램의 발달과 더불어 해상력이 1km인 AVHRR의 영상을 대축척으로 확대하여 사용할 수 있게 되는 한편 여러가지 오류도 수정할 수 있게 되었다. 그리고 이들 위성으로부터 관측된 열적외선 영상은 도시열섬을 나타내는데 있어서 중용한 자료로 사용할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 원격탐사 기법에 의한 도시열섬 연구의 가능성을 타진하여 보고자 NOAA AVHRR 영상을 이용하여 남한지역의 도시열섬의 존재와 수도권지역 열섬의 강도 및 형태를 알아보고 나아가 도시열섬과 여러 도시현상간의 관계를 밝혀 보고자 한다.

The Prospects of International Cities in China

  • Since 1980's there have been two trends that obviously developed in the would -- economics globalization and urban internationalization. China, with is reform and opening-up policy and rapid economic growth, keeps pace with these two trends. The term "International City" has no putative standard or definition. If we make an analogue of urban functional hierarchy in the world with a pyramid, the International Citiesa are the few elites on its top. The highest level international cities can be called "World City" or "Global City". In today's new international division of labor, they are diversified leading cities with control capacity on a world scale, like New York, London, and Tokyo. The secondary international cities are either diversified cities with influence and regulative functions on multinational scale or specialized cities on politics, economics, culture, or other aspects with worldwide impact. Judged by different criteria, there is no city that is qualified as International City with the exception of Hong Kong, which was returned to the P.R. of China in 1997. Nevertheless, Some favorable conditions for the development of the international city still exist in China. This country is already the sixth largest economic entity in the world, and the second largest economic entity in the world, and the second largest one if GNP estimated by ppp. Furthermore its import and export value make up for 40% of its GNP, indicating that China is repidly merging into global economy. In this 1, 2 billion-population country, the difference of economic levels between urban and rural, coastal and inland regions is so big that a few metropolises in the coastal region have the possibilities and potentials to develop into international cities regardless of rather low GNP per capita of the whole country. This article will focus on analysis from several perspectives, such as the proportion of foreign trade values in GDP, the proportion of imports and exports by foreign funded enterprises in total foreign trade value; distribution of the 500 largest foreign-funded enterprises; distribution of the 500 enterprises with largest import and export values; distrigbution of foreign computer and telecom companies with offices in China; the number of outward flights per week and the international tourists; the value of foreign capital used in cities and so on. From this analysis, it is predicted that Chinese international cities will surely emergy from the eastern coastal regions and they must be the core cities of metropolitan interlocking regions that have been formed or in the process of forming. Those international cities will arise from south to north in turn : Hong Kong-Guangzhu, Shanghai, Beijing-Tianjin, and perhaps the last one is Dalian-Shenyang. The other side of this issue is that there is a long way for the coming international cities in China except Hong Kong. At least China and these core cities must continually devote to (1) improve the regional composition of foreign capital sources. (2) improve the composition of export commodities. (3) improve the investment environment (including hard and soft environment) to attract more transnational corporations to settle. (4) deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises and establish Chinese own transnational corporations to enter the world market.ons to enter the world market.

지역별 청소년 건강위험행위 비교 - 대도시, 중소도시, 군 지역을 중심으로 - (Comparative Study of Youth Health Risk Behaviors by Region: Focused on Metropolitan Areas, Medium Sized and Small City Areas, and Rural Areas)

  • Purpose: This study was done to compare health risk behavior prevalence for youth living in metropolitan, medium sized and small cities or rural area, in order to enhance understanding regional differences. Methods: For this study, data from the 2006 Youth Health Risk Behavior Online Survey collected by the Korean Center for Disease Control were analyzed using SPSS. Results: In the metropolitan areas, prevalence for disease and perceived obesity were higher than in other areas. Lack of intense or moderate physical activity, obesity, fast food intake, and insufficient sleep showed higher prevalence than in rural areas. Prevalence of lifetime smoking, lifetime alcohol consumption, present alcohol use, fruit intake less than once a day, and not wearing a seat belt were higher in rural areas than in urban areas. Gender, smoking, and alcohol use were correlated. Spearman correlation between living with parent and skipping breakfast were significant. Smoking, alcohol use, and sexual behavior were correlated. Conclusion: As significant differences in prevalence of youth health risk behaviors exist between regional areas, health education and health promotion programs considering these differences have to be developed and implemented for adolescents. Programs for prevention of smoking and alcohol use, programs for improvement of fruit intake and safety are suggested for adolescents in rural areas, whereas programs to enhance physical activity and obesity management are suggested for adolescents in metropolitan areas.

Evaluation of the Effect of Regional Pollutants and Residual Ozone on Ozone Concentrations in the Morning in the Inland of the Kanto Region

  • Increasing ozone concentrations are observed over Japan from year to year. One cause of high ozone concentration in the Kanto region, which includes areas inland from large coastal cities such as metropolitan Tokyo, is the transportation of precursors by sea breezes. However, high ozone concentrations are also observed in the morning, before sea breezes approach inland areas. In this point, there would be a possibility of residual ozone existing above the nocturnal boundary layer affects the ozone concentration in the following morning. In this study, we utilized the Weather Research and Forecasting model and the Community Multiscale Air Quality model to evaluate the effect of regional precursors and residual ozone on ozone concentrations over the inland Kanto region. The results show that precursors emitted from non-metropolitan areas affected inland ozone concentrations more than did precursors from metropolitan areas. Moreover, calculated results indicate downward transportation of residual ozone, resulting in increased concentration. The residual ozone was also affected by precursors emitted from non-metropolitan areas.

긴급제언 - 대심도 광역지하급행철도 네트워크 효과 (Deeper Underground Greater Metropolitan Express Train Network Effect)

  • The modal split structure of the Korea's transportation system has been dominated by road-oriented structure. The shortage of the inftrastructure to accommodate the rapidly increasing travel demand has brought about socio-economic losses such as severe traffic congestion and high logistic costs, and thereby weakened the competitiveness of the country. Highway transportation sector is more vulnerable to energy consumption comparing with railway sector since the highway sector is dependent mostly on fossil fuels for its energy source. In 2006 annual road cogestion costs in Korea reached 24.6 trillion won, with an average annual growth rate of 5.4%. The annual road congestion cost of intercity highways were 9.2 trillion won. As the new cities that recently developed are located far from Seoul area, the boundary of commuting in Seoul metropolitan area is extended. It makes passengers have longer trips with longer travel time, and the congestion problem to be more serious. In this regards, Gyeonggi Provincial Government proposed a deeper underground metropolitan express train system for the greater Metropolitan area. which is named as GTX. Gyeonggi Province suggested 3 key underground lines, based on the outcome of the feasibility study conducted by the Korea Society of Transportation, and submitted to the Ministry of Land Transportation and Maritime Affairs for its review. If the project is approved for construction and completed in 2016, the daily volume of surface traffic bound for Seoul will be reduced substantially and therefore the users will be benefitted for time savings by an annual amount of 2 trilion won every year.

세계도시지역론과 그 지역정책적 함의 (Global City-Regions Theory and its Implications for Regional Development Policy in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 아주 최근에 새롭게 제기된 세계도시지역론을 고찰하고 이에 기초하여 한국의 지역발전 정책을 위한 함의를 제안하고 있다. 세계의 주요한 거대도시지역으로. 이루어진 정치ㆍ경제적 조직체 또는 다중심적 구조를 지닌 새로운 규모의 도시조직으로 정의되는 세계도시지역은 세계경제의 역동적인 성장뿐만 아니라 지역발전도 동시에 유발함으로써 세계화시대에서 대안적인 신지역주기 발전모델로 평가된다. 한국에서 세계도시지역모델의 정책적 적용은 특히, 비수도권의 거대도시지역의 세계적 경쟁력 강화와 수도권과 비수도권 간의 극심한 지역격차를 완화하기 위해서 필요시 된다. 그러나 부산, 대구, 광주, 대전 등의 비수도권의 광역시가 세계도시지역으로 발전하기 위해서는 시ㆍ도 통합과 지방분권과 같은 제도개혁이 선행되지 않으면 안 된다.

한국의 중증외상 사망률의 지역적 차이에 대한 비교 연구 (Comparative study of geographic differences of severe trauma mortality in Korea)

  • Purpose: Mortality due to trauma is relevant to both low-income and high-income countries. A diversity of causes leads to mortality such as, socioeconomic status and geographic factors. This study sought to differentiate between cases of mortality in a metropolitan city and a rural area, with data from critical trauma patients. Methods: Community-based severe trauma surveillance data from 2018 was used in this study. Logistic regression was conducted to compare the odds ratios between deaths that occurred in a metropolitan city and a rural area. Multiple logistic regression by controlling variables such as type of medical institution and injury severity score was conducted to estimate the effect on the trauma patients. Results: In total, 28,217 participants were selected as total population. We observed that the odds of death decreased as the level of the trauma center increased. Compared to the metropolitan city, the odds ratio of rural areas was 1.44. The odds ratio increased as the injury severity score increased. Conclusion: This study suggests that the mortality of critical trauma patients is higher in rural areas than in metropolitan cities. More studies are needed to expand on this.

최근린사상법을 활용한 6대 광역시 녹지네트워크 경향 분석 (An Analysis of Urban Green Network using Nearest Features Model in Korean Metropolitan Cities)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the current urban forest network and future plan of forest framework using nearest features program where stepping stones within 5km from the core forest were selected in the program. We found several conclusions as follows: First, we found that cities in inland area including Daegu, Dajeon and Gwangju have quite different types of forest network with comparing to the cities nearby coastline including Busan, Incheon and Ulsan. The cities in inland area have large mountain patch around each city. However they have small and lower number of island forests within their urban area. Otherwise, cities nearby coastline have more forest patches than in the cities in inland area, and Busan and Incheon especially have strong forest network using various size of forest patches. Second, Daegu and Daejeon have much smaller forest patches distributed in each urban area. So additional forest patches should be added to have highly strong forest network within urban area. Third, Ulsan and Gwangju have most stepping-stone forests close to the large mountain patches in suburban area, which are not able to connect to the forest patches in the central area of each city So additional forest patches are needed to be added in the central area of each city for reinforcing the effect of stepping stone in the central area. Though there should be an addition approach except for forest size and its isolation to construct the ecological network in an urban area, this indices can be a good method to check an environmental and ecological status in an urban area.

스마트디지털 환경 기반 도서관 구축에 관한 사서 인식 연구 (A Study on Librarians' Awareness of Construction of Libraries Based on Smart-Digital Environment)

  • 본 연구에서는 스마트디지털 환경에서 공공도서관 이용편의성을 제고하고 이용자서비스를 개선하기 위해 디지털서비스 스마트화 추진방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이에 디지털자료 업무 담당자 및 사서를 대상으로 디지털자료 활성화 방안과 스마트도서관에 대한 인식조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 스마트 도서관 도입은 정보 기술에 대한 관심이 높은 중소도시를 중심으로 우선 시행하고, 시간·장소에 구애받지 않는 서비스 제공에 대한 인식이 높은 광역시 및 특별자치시 지역 공공도서관으로 확산하는 방식으로 진행하는 것이 효과적으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스마트 도서관 도입의 핵심 성공요인은 단말기로부터 자유로운 콘텐츠와 이러한 서비스 이용이 가능한 사용자 전산 장비의 업그레이드인 것으로 분석되었다. 단말기는 스마트폰 등 이용자가 개인적으로 활용하지만 개방형 와이파이 등 이용자의 이동성을 보장하는 업그레이드와 5G의 도입은 필요한 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 스마트 도서관 도입 시 적용이 용이할 것으로 예상되는 정보기술로는 이미 일반화된 전자태그(RFID)와 더불어 빅데이터 기술인 것으로 나타났다. 그 외 광역시 및 특별자치시 지역 공공도서관 관계자들의 관심이 높은 사물인터넷(IoT) 기술 도입을 우선적으로 고려해야 할 것이다.
