Development of off-line Robot Task Programming System for Polishing Process of Sculptured Surfaces (자유곡면의 연마공정을 위한 오프라인 로봇작업 프로그래밍 시스템의 개발)

  • In order to achieve high accuracy of teaching and increase productivity using industrial robots in polishing process of dies, an off-line task programming system was developed on IBM-PC/386 under WINDOWS 3.0 operating system. The internal structure and the machematical basis of CAMPoli are described. Surface modeling technique of polishing dies with sculptured surfaces is introduced by poing data interpolation methodology through the use of CL-data transmitted from conventional CAM system. Tool selection, polishing speed, polishing pressure and kinds of tool motions can be determined and selected by user specified polishing variables. Task creation and verification of polishing path via computer graphics simulation of polishing tool can be done by the menu- driven function of CAMPoli system. Post-processing module is attached to generate robot language. Some simulation results are provided as verification means of the system.

  • Recently, for enhanced productivity the induction of CAD/CAM is vigorous. Most of high-level CAD/CAM systems produce powerful faculties. But it is very expensive to purchase the system in small and difficult to be operated by non-experienced workers effectively. Then the resonable CAM system for these is needed. In this study we developed a proto-type of the CAM system for CNC lathe connecting with personal computer. This system is configured with interactive menu windows for easy control of CNC lathe. And the system supports tool path generation for cutting conditions of workpiece. The performance of this system is satisfactory.

  • The ECG-NIBP patient monitor consist of Noninvasive Blood Pressure(NIBP) module that have micro controller inside. This module transfer data by serial communication to the main processor. This system apply the fuzzy inflating method to reduce the blood pressure measuring time, and moving artifact removing algorithm, several parameters used or more accurate measurement. The ECG monitor use the Digital Signal Processor(DSP) or digital filtering, peak detection, heart rate calculation. This system also offer convenient user interface by rotary key, menu bar. With 7" CRT display, auxiliary TFT LCD display adapted to display information on wide screen.

  • A program is developed to analyze and design the frequency and rigidity of the corrugated plates with various corrugation shapes (the considered corrugation shapes are triangular and trapezoidal) and 36 kinds of boundary conditions using smeared theory. The system is consisted of input, solution and output routines, and its routine is made up pull-down menu type and run in Window basis using Visual Basic Language. The input routine helps the design engineers to make the input data user-friendly. The solution routine uses the homemade solver. In the output routine, automatic designs can be done using AutoCAD and Intent Tool package by interfacing the input data.

  • 많은 현대인들은 체중 관리를 위해 많은 시간과 노력을 쏟고 있으며 그중에서도 식단을 관리하는데 많은 힘을 기울이고 있다. 하지만, 전문지식이 없는 일반인이 자신이 먹은 식단을 분석하고 어떤 음식을 먹을지 계획하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본고에서는 hypernetwork를 이용한 개인 맞춤형 식단 추천 알고리즘을 제안한다. 개발된 식단 추천 알고리즘은 사용자의 식단 로그 데이터를 기반으로 사용자의 식성에 맞고 적절한 칼로리를 지닌 식단을 구성하여 추천한다. 특히, 식품 정보 DB 이외에 다른 추가 정보가 필요하지 않으며, 개인의 작은 식단 로그 데이터만으로도 동작 가능한 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구실에서는 개발된 알고리즘을 이용하여 개인 체중 관리 어플리케이션인 DietAdvisor를 제작하였으며, 사용자는 어플리케이션을 통해 실제 식단 추천 및 그 외의 체중관리에 필요한 서비스를 제공받을 수 있다.

  • The medical image processing system is intended for a diverse set of users in the medical Imaging Parts. This system consists of a 640 Kbyte IBM-PC/AT with 30 Mbyte hard disk, special purpose image processor with video input devices and display monitor. Image may be recorded and processed in real time at sampling rate up to 10 MHz. This system provides a wide range of image enhancement processing facilities via a menu-driven software packages. These facilities include point by point processing, image averaging, convolution filter and subtraction.

  • This study is directed for the development of a computer aided safety assessment system for agricultural irrigation structures, The developed system is composed of four subsystems that incorporate database, structural analysis, safety assessment, and postprocess, which are made to be interfaced systematically. It is developed in the user-friendly menu driving form with pull-down type interaction on a personal computer. The main algorithm of safety assessment of deteriorated structures is a rational rating system based on the reliability method. From this study, it may be stated that the proposed rating and safety assessment system provide an effective tool and thus it can be widely used in practice for the assessment of safety and load carrying capacity of existing deteriorated or damaged agricultural irrigation structures.

  • In recent years, a number of robot work measurement systems have been developed. This study discusses CARS (Computer Aided Romum System) which is to computerize the existed manual version ROMUM (RObot Modularization of the Unit Motion) method as the predetermined time system for robot work measurement. The ROMUM was developed to establish the standard time of work through modularize the unit motions in robot tasks. The CARS is designed on a menu driven form by computer assist for user interface and then interacts with user effectively. Therefore, the system can provide the convenience of use and minimization of analysis time and degree of judgement for establishing standard time.

  • This paper describes a DAVIC based VoD service system that allows access via the Web, taking advantage of the wide availability of Web browsers. A simple access mechanism of a DAVIC based VoD system, using a Web browser is adopted on the proposed system. The client and VoD server are compliant with DAVIC, a user can access the VoD server simply by selecting the Web server's address via a Web browser. A menu enables the user to select VCR-like buttons, to establish an S2 control flow and to send the commands contained in the buttons to the VoD server. A simple implementation shows the feasibility of the proposed approach.
