  • Due to the rapid growth of the online fashion market and the resulting expansion of online choices, there is a problem that the seller cannot directly respond to a large number of consumers individually, although consumers are increasingly demanding for more personalized recommendation services. Images are being tagged as a way to meet consumer's personalization needs, but when people tagging, tagging is very subjective for each person, and artificial intelligence tagging has very limited words and does not meet the needs of users. To solve this problem, we designed an algorithm that recognizes the shape, attribute, and emotional information of the product included in the image with AI, and codes this information to represent all the information that the image has with a combination of codes. Through this algorithm, it became possible by acquiring a variety of information possessed by the image in real time, such as the sensibility of the fashion image and the TPO information expressed by the fashion image, which was not possible until now. Based on this information, it is possible to go beyond the stage of analyzing the tastes of consumers and make hyper-personalized clothing recommendations that combine the tastes of consumers with information about trends and TPOs.

  • Thanks to the competition of AlphaGo and Sedol Lee, machine learning has received world-wide attention and huge investments. The performance improvement of computing devices greatly contributed to big data processing and the development of neural networks. Artificial intelligence not only imitates human beings in many fields, but also seems to be better than human capabilities. Although humans' creation is still considered to be better and higher, several artificial intelligences continue to challenge human creativity. The quality of some creative outcomes by AI is as good as the real ones produced by human beings. Sometimes they are not distinguishable, because the neural network has the competence to learn the common features contained in big data and copy them. In order to confirm whether artificial intelligence can express the inherent characteristics of different arts, this paper proposes a new neural network model called Humming. It is an experimental model that combines vgg16, which extracts image features, and DeepJ's architecture, which excels in creating various genres of music. A dataset produced by our experiment shows meaningful and valid results. Different results, however, are produced when the amount of data is increased. The neural network produced a similar pattern of music even though it was a different classification of images, which was not what we were aiming for. However, these new attempts may have explicit significance as a starting point for feature transfer that will be further studied.

  • Identifying defects in textiles is a key procedure for quality control. This study attempted to create a model that detects defects by analyzing the images of the fabrics. The models used in the study were deep learning-based VGGNet and ResNet, and the defect detection performance of the two models was compared and evaluated. The accuracy of the VGGNet and the ResNet model was 0.859 and 0.893, respectively, which showed the higher accuracy of the ResNet. In addition, the region of attention of the model was derived by using the Grad-CAM algorithm, an eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) technique, to find out the location of the region that the deep learning model recognized as a defect in the fabric image. As a result, it was confirmed that the region recognized by the deep learning model as a defect in the fabric was actually defective even with the naked eyes. The results of this study are expected to reduce the time and cost incurred in the fabric production process by utilizing deep learning-based artificial intelligence in the defect detection of the textile industry.

  • The artificial intelligence software market is expected to grow sixfold from 2020 to 2025. However, the software development process is not standardized and there is no standard for calculating the cost. Accordingly, each AI software development company calculates the input man-hours according to their respective development procedures and presents this as the basis for the development cost. In this study, the development stage of "artificial intelligence-based software" that learns with a large amount of data and derives and applies an algorithm was defined, and the required labor was collected by conducting a survey on the number of man-hours required for each development stage targeting developers. Correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed between the collected man-hours for each development stage, and a model for predicting the man-hours for each development stage was derived. As a result of testing the model, it showed an accuracy of 92% compared to the collected airborne effort. The man-hour prediction model proposed in this study is expected to be a tool that can be used simply for estimating man-hours and costs.

  • The construction of a stress measurement detaset plays a curcial role in various modern applications. In particular, for the efficient training of artificial intelligence models for stress measurement, it is essential to compare various biases and construct a quality-controlled dataset. In this paper, we propose the construction of a stress measurement dataset with quality management through the comparison of various biases. To achieve this, we introduce strss definitions and measurement tools, the process of building an artificial intelligence stress dataset, strategies to overcome biases for quality improvement, and considerations for stress data collection. Specifically, to manage dataset quality, we discuss various biases such as selection bias, measurement bias, causal bias, confirmation bias, and artificial intelligence bias that may arise during stress data collection. Through this paper, we aim to systematically understand considerations for stress data collection and various biases that may occur during the construction of a stress dataset, contributing to the construction of a dataset with guaranteed quality by overcoming these biases.

  • Recently, large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT have been developed, and as AI is used across various industrial fields, attention is focused on AI chips (semiconductors). AI chips refer to chips designed for calculations for AI algorithms, and many companies at domestic and abroad, such as NVIDIA, Tesla, and ETRI, are developing AI chips. In this paper, we survey research trends on nine types of AI chips. Currently, many attempts have been made to improve the computational performance of most AI chips, and semiconductors for specific purposes are also being designed. In order to compare various AI semiconductors, each chip is analyzed in terms of operation unit, speed, power, and energy efficiency. We introduce currently existing optimization methodologies for AI computation. Based on this, future research directions for AI semiconductors are presented in this paper.

  • This study attempts to explain how communication technology impacts global creative trends. We explore global creative trends based on award-winning creative topics presented at the 2016 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. After analyzing award-winning topics, five main creative trends were selected with the keywords: technology, story-telling, social media, causes, and humor. The 2016 Cannes Lions Festival demonstrated that technology (i.e., virtual reality, artificial intelligence) has expanded the limits of creativity. Story-telling is still considered to be effective for raising audience attention. Social media enhances consumer engagement while nurturing future consumer relationships. Supporting social causes allows companies to garner goodwill from the public. Humor is powerful when it appropriately appeals to both products and customers.

  • This research is on how people's trust in human-like AI-based service will influence customer engagement (CE). This study will discuss the relationship between trust and CE and explore how people's trust in AI affects CE when they lack knowledge of the company/brand. Items from the philosophical study of trust were extracted to build a scale suitable for trust in AI. The scale's reliability was ensured, and six components of trust in AI were merged into three dimensions: trust based on Quality Assurance, Risk-taking, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Trust based on quality assurance and risk-taking is verified to positively impact customer engagement, and the feelings about AI-based service fully mediate between all three dimensions of trust in AI and CE. The new trust scale for human-like AI-based services on social media sheds light on further research. The relationship between trust in AI and CE provides a theoretical basis for subsequent research.
