인터랙티브 미디어를 활용한 영화 마케팅 활성화 방안 (A Study on Activation of Movie Marketing Using Interactive Media)

  • 디지털 미디어 기술이 지속적으로 발전하면서 새로운 기술을 활용한 미디어 아트의 창출이 거듭되고 있다. 그 중 인터랙티브 미디어는 관객을 작품 안에 참여시킴으로써 비로소 완성된다는 점에서 관객에게 새로운 경험과 흥미를 제공한다. 이러한 특성을 마케팅 전략으로 활용하면서 매출 증가와 기업의 긍정적 이미지 제고를 유도하는 사례들이 증가하고 있다. 영화 산업의 마케팅의 요소로써 인터랙티브 미디어가 활용 될 수 있는 방안을 모색하고 전략적인 마케팅 요소로 사용될 수 있는 인터랙티브 미디어 콘텐츠의 프로토타입을 제안한다. 이로써 관객들에게 지속적이고 새로운 몰입감을 제공하는 인터랙티브 미디어의 발전 방향을 제시하고, 영화 마케팅뿐만 아니라 산업의 전반적인 효과적인 활용에 대한 후속 연구를 제안한다.

국내 디지털 사이니지 산업 활성화 방안 (The Revitalization Strategy of Digital Signage Industry)

  • Domestic digital signage industry has been growing in line with the Internet and intelligent devices like smart phones. However, policies for digital signage need to be supplemented because existing policies are only focused on regulations for outdoor advertisements. Moreover, while digital technologies have been developed, there are few contents technologies to support the digital technologies. In this context, this research aims to identify the problems in relation to the domestic digital signage industry and seek for measures to solve the problems. Various case studies and literature review were conducted to identify problems in terms of policy, technology and service, and measures for revitalizing the digital signage industry were suggested. The research is expected to help digital signage to serve as new convergence media available for customization targeting and user participation.

Proposed a consulting chatbot service for restaurant start-ups using social media big data

  • Since the first outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019, it has caused a huge blow to the restaurant industry. However, as social distancing was lifted as of April 2022, the restaurant industry gradually recovered, and as a result, interest in restaurant start-ups increased. Therefore, in this paper, big data analysis was conducted by selecting "restaurant start-up" as a key keyword through social media big data analysis using Textom and then conducting word frequency and CONCOR analysis. The collection period of keywords was selected from May 1, 2022 to May 23, 2023, after the lifting of social distancing due to COVID-19, and based on the analysis, the development of a restaurant start-up consulting chatbot service is proposed.

Effects of Marketing Communication Capabilities on the link between Corporate Social Responsibility on Firm Value: Observations from the Service Industry

  • An increasing number of studies have examined the effects of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities on corporate financial performance (CFP) in the service industry. However, the extant literature does not provide comprehensive insights into the conditions on which the CSR-CFP link relies. In this study, firms' marketing communication capability (MCC) is introduced as an important contingency variable, which determines the effects of CSR on the corporate financial performance, in the context of restaurant businesses. Multiple year data on the spending of public restaurant chains on different media are collected, and MCC is subsequently measured using the data envelope analysis. Then, a test is conducted to prove whether MCC moderates the relationship between CSR and firm financial performance. The empirical results support the hypothesis that MCC strengthens the effect of CSR on CFP. Through the findings, this research provides several interesting and important implications to the literature and managers of service firms.

소셜미디어 사용자의 프라이버시 패러독스 현상으로 인한 개인정보 무관심 형태에 대한 연구 (Indifference Problems of Personal Information Protection of Social Media Users due to Privacy Paradox)

  • Privacy paradox is a paradoxical behavior that provides personal information even though you are concerned about privacy. Social media users are also often concerned about their personal information exposure. It is even reluctant to describe personal information in profile. However, some users describe their personal information in detail on their profile, provide it freely when others request it, or post their own personal information. The survey was conducted using Google Docs centered on Facebook users. Structural equation model analysis was used for hypothesis testing. As an independent variable, we use personal information infringement experiences. As a mediator, we use privacy indifference, privacy concern, and the relationship with the act of providing personal information. Social media users have become increasingly aware of the fact that they can not distinguish between the real world and online world by strengthening their image and enhancing their image in the process of strengthening ties, sharing lots of information and enjoying themselves through various relationships. Therefore, despite the high degree of privacy indifference and high degree of privacy concern, the phenomenon of privacy paradox is also present in social media.

국내 콘텐츠 소비자의 코드커팅 요인 연구 (What Drives Korean People to Cut the Cord?)

  • The traditional media ecosystem is facing major changes with the expansion of over-the-top (OTT) services. While the percentage of people cutting the cord has already exceeded the percentage of people subscribing to pay TV services in the United States, due to the unique characteristics of the Korean market, it is uncertain whether the cord-cutting trend will have an impact on the Korean media industry despite of the advantages of OTT services. Accordingly, this study has directly determined the beneficial and sacrificial factors of switching to OTT services, as well as the personal and external influences behind the Korean OTT service users' intention to switch. To achieve this, the Value-based Adoption Model (VAM) was used to measure the benefits of OTT services with regards to their content and systems, as well as measure the financial and procedural switching costs of cord-cutting; further, personal innovativeness and consumers' social image were added as external variables. The results of this study showed that consumers take the content and system quality of OTT services and procedural switching costs and into consideration, and that their intention to switch was based on social image. These results could serve as data for consumer analysis regarding the expansion of OTT services into the Korean media industry, and also provide the strategic basis for preparing for sudden changes that may occur in the media ecosystem due to cord-cutting.

Motivation in Using and Sharing Experience on Social Media among Multi-Generational Travelers

  • Social media has been integrated into a part of travel industry. Subsequently, it has influenced tourists' travel behavior. Prior studies claim that individuals have different behaviors regarding the use of social media for travel purposes. With lack of studies focusing on age group, the objective of this study is to determine whether there is a difference in the motivation among three generations in using social media for the sake of sharing travel experiences. Finding shows that all generations use social media with similar motivation for travel purposes. They have high motivation in obtaining travel information before the trip and in sharing memorable travel experiences through social media. They also wanted to keep such information as personal document during and after the traveling.

융합시대 국내 콘텐츠 산업의 진흥정책 방향성 연구: 현황 및 중요도 평가를 중심으로 (A Study on the Development Policy of Contents Industry in the Convergence Era: Focusing on the Evaluation of Status and Importance)

  • 본 연구는 융합시대 국내 콘텐츠 산업의 진흥정책 현황을 평가하고, 앞으로의 진흥정책 방향을 제시하기 위한 목적을 지닌다. 이를 위해 디지털 콘텐츠 산업 분야별 전문가 10명에 대한 심층인터뷰와 전문가 30명에 대한 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 콘텐츠 산업을 기술, 인력, 제도의 3개 범주로 구분하여 델파이 조사를 실시한 결과, 기술분야에 대한 다양하고 적극적인 지원이 요구되고 있었으며, 크로스오버형 전문가, 상위 고급인력에 대한 인력분야의 수요가 두드러지고 있었다. 또한 제도분야에서는 규제완화에 대한 지속적인 요구가 있음에도 불구하고, 동시에 정부정책의 효율적이며 적극적인 지원방안에 대한 수요도 높게 나타났다. 영역별 주요 항목에 대해 중요도와 현상태를 평가한 결과, 현상태에 대한 평가는 상대적으로 회의적인 결과가 도출되어 현정책의 지체현상을 단적으로 보여주었다. 이러한 연구결과는 산업적 측면에서 기술표준화 도입이나 신규 비즈니스 모델 구축 등과 같이 새롭게 요구되는 수요가 발생하고 있으며, 정책적 측면에서 정부의 비전 제시나 해외진출을 위한 지원 등 적극적인 역할기대가 높다는 것을 보여준다. 그럼에도 불구하고 융합 인력을 배출하는 구조적 한계나 효율적 정책지원을 수행하기 위한 정부 부처의 구조적 한계 등은 우리 사회가 융합시대 콘텐츠 산업의 진흥시기로 접어들기 위해 해결해야 할 원천적인 문제로 이해된다. 본 연구는 급변하는 융합 환경 속에서 시장의 결함을 점검하고 콘텐츠 산업을 육성하기 위한 정책 방향성을 모색하였다는데 의미가 있다.

디지털 융합 세대의 미디어 이용과 정치참여의 특징 : SNS와 스마트폰을 중심으로 (Digital Generation's Media Use and Political Participation : Focusing on SNS and Smart Phone Use)

  • 본 연구는 디지털 융합 세대의 뉴미디어를 이용한 새로운 정치참여 유형을 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 연령과 다매체 이용 동기에 따라 집단을 구분하여 이들 집단 간에 미디어 관련 성향, SNS 및 스마트폰 이용 특성, 정치 관련 특성, 그리고 유형별 정치참여의 차이가 존재하는가를 조사하였다. 연구결과는 세대별 미디어이용 특성은 다매체 이용동기의 높고 낮음에 따라 집단 간 차이를 보였고, 정치 관련 특성과 정치참여 유형에 대한 세대별 차이가 있었다. 디지털 세대는 웹 1.0세대보다 정치관여도와 정치효능감이 낮은 것으로 나타났고, 웹 1.0세대에 비해 오프라인 정치참여가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정치효능감은 유형별 정치참여 행위에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다.
