We have developed a 2D/3D time sequential LCD autostereoscopic display, which is capable of simultaneous displaying 2D and 3D graphics at a frame rate up to 120 Hz. Left and right sets of viewing zones are formed by a combination of a fast LC shutter and a lenticular lens array.

시스템을 입력과 출력간의 함수관계로 볼 때 출력에 대한 상대차수가 정의되지 않는 점을 특이점이라고 정의할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 적절한 기하학적 조건을 만족하는 해석적인 시스템(analytic system)에 대하여 그러한 특이점의 성질을 살펴본다. 특이점을 지나는 궤적은 특이점의 특이도와 그에 관련된 함수 값의 부호에 의해서 특이점의 주변에서는 특이 매니폴드를 기준으로 한 영역에서 나머지 다른 영역으로 통과하거나 혹은 그를 기준으로 어느 한 쪽의 영역에만 머물러 있게 됨을 보임으로써 특이점과 이를 지나는 궤적의 상관관계를 명확히 규명하였다.

최근에 광 디스크 기기의 고배속화에 따라서 디스크의 재생 속도는 점차로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 경향에 따라 트랙킹 제어 루프에서 나타나는 디스크의 편심에 의한 외란의 영향은 더욱 커지게 되므로 기존의 선형 제어기만으로는 디스크의 편심량이 큰 경우에 고배속에서 원하는 트랙 추종 성능을 얻을 수가 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 반복 학습 제어 알고리즘과 드라이브 시스템의 액츄에이터의 주파수 응답 특성을 이용한 새로운 트랙 추종 제어 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 제안된 트랙 추종 제어 시스템의 제어 성능을 실험을 통하여 검증하여 본다.

The present study relates to a method of manufacturing 100$\mu\textrm{m}$ thick cover layer for the high density digital versatile disc system (HD-DVD), which uses a high numerical aperture of 0.85 at 405 nm wavelength. Spin coating technique was investigated as means for manufacturing the cover layer within sufficient margins of thickness variation and with good mechanical properties including small radial and tangential tilts. The influence of processing variables such as spinning speed, spinning time, and dispensing position was investigated. The effect of viscosity of UV-curable resin was also investigated.

본 논문에서는 사용자 편의를 고려하여 개인 콘텐트를 공유할 수 있는 푸쉬형 (Push Type)의 디스플레이를 제안하였다. 기존의 Web 기술과 UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)를 확장하여 브로드밴드상의 디바이스에 콘텐트를 Push 하거나 디바이스를 직접 제어 가능하게 하는 WPnP (Wideband Plug and Play)를 제안하였다. 또한, 서버에서 각 디바이스 별 메타데이터를 관리함으로써 사용자간의 콘텐트 공유를 쉽게 할 수 있었다. 제안된 설계는 직접 시스템에 구현하였다.

A virtual studio is a new video production environment using interactive computer graphics and imaging media technology. The traditional chroma-keying with two-dimensional background is replaced by an advanced keying method with a dynamic computer-generated, three-dimensional background. We have developed a virtual studio system that is practical to use in the real production environment. It has not only essential features that are common among various commercial virtual studio systems, but also unique feature that help the producer to construct virtual studio sets and scenarios efficiently such as span graph, robust backup controller, and 3 dimensional character generator supporting all languages. Our virtual studio system was used in live broadcasting and proved that the system was practical enough. In this paper, we will introduce the structure and the major features of our system, called VdreamSet, and application examples to broadcasting.

본 논문에서는 불완전한 시계열 데이터를 활용하기 전 데이터를 선별하여 활용하는 방법을 소개한다. 시계열 데이터의 품질은 수집 네트워크와 수집 기기의 시간적 변화와 같은 가변적 상황에 의존적이므로 불규칙적으로 이상 혹은 누락 데이터가 발생한다. 이때 에러를 포함하였다는 이유로 일괄적으로 데이터를 제거하여 활용하지 않거나, 혹은 누락 데이터의 구간을 조건 없이 복원하여 활용한다면 원하지 않는 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 제안하는 방법은 시계열 데이터의 구간에 대한 누락 데이터의 통계적 정보를 축출하고 이에 기반하여 활용 목적과 활용 가능한 품질의 기준에 부합하지 않는다면 활용 불가능한 데이터라고 판별하고 미리 분석 등의 데이터 활용 시 자동 제외하는 구조를 제안하고 실험하였다. 제안하는 방법은 활용 목적과 상황에 적응적으로 누락 값을 포함하는 데이터의 빠른 활용 판단이 가능하며 보다 나은 분석 결과를 얻을 수 있다.

In this paper, we investigated the properties of hypostereoscopic condition in mobile circumstance and simulated the main factors to embody an effective presence to the reconstructed depth image, which are both the limited disparity for fusible stereo and the object space possible for quantifying.

This paper describes the design and implementation of the database which is used in Personal Life Log Media system. The database contains information about media that capture personal experiences and enables the user to retrieve the media in a user friendly ways. The implementation of the database design is done by managing video data, which captures user's personal experiences, with its spatial and temporal information. The database enables the user to retrieve the video by mentioning where and/or when the video has been taken.
