Objectives : The purpose of this paper is to investigate the educational meaning of Shanghanjiushilun in Shanghanlun education. Methods : The formal characteristics in medical records were compared between Shanghanjiushilun and the other 5 kinds of medical record books and the educational meaning was drawn by analysing medical records of Shanghanjiushilun a little more deeply. Resultss & Conclusions : 1. In a formal aspect, although Shanghanjiushilun is inferior to Liuduzhou's Clinical Medical Records Selection, it has merits in that it explains through quoting medical literature. 2. Xushuwei explained treatment based on syndrome differentiation in the new point of view in Shanghanjiushilun. 3. Through Shanghanjiushilun medical records Xushuwei's work to explain treatment based on syndrome differentiation in Shanghanlun in the new perspective is an effort to read medical classics to keep up with the times and has sufficient educational significance.

In the model tested here, individual innovative work behavior is considered as the outcome of two antecedent factors-empowerment and organizational supports. The relationships between those variables and innovative work behavior are analyzed form the data collected through a questionnaire survey of 389 employees in five general hospitals. Results of multiple regression analyses show that three dimensions of empowerment-meaning, competence, and impact, and supports from organizational culture have significant effects on innovative work behavior whereas the effects of choice dimension of empowerment and managerial supports are not significant. These results emphasize the importance of empowerment and innovation oriented organizational culture for individual members' innovative work behavior. Theoretical and practical Implications and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Media consumers in the context of the Internet and digital media are using the same content to a variety of platforms. As such, the content of various genres is converted to the form of a new content through the process of fusion, combination, transformation, differentiation, reproduction, etc on the basis of digital media. That is referred to as trans-media. In order to create the successful content in trans-media era, it requires the work of Edi-curation. Edi-curation work is the act of editing and adding meaning to the curation work of curators. In that sense, this paper analyzed the definition and meaning for Edi-curation of publishing and comic(webtoon) content in trans-media era. Edi-curation process induces the changing role of consumers and producers of content in the digital media experience. In process of Edi-curation, consumers(producers) will soon lead to a media producer(consumer), namely proconsumer / produser. Diversification of digital platforms and devices, digital 1 person (or SNS) appeared in the media, etc. are also required to Edi-curation of content and comic(webtoon) published in a variety of ways. Depending on the intention of media producers (or consumers), content through the process of replication, montage, disassembly, dismantling, hypertext, compression, and reconstruction births to new content. The work of Edi-curation has the significance that it affects the way the media producers work in creative process, as well as the reading content of the media consumers. In the publishing content, Edi-curation work is the logicality destruction of a chapter or a paragraph, a sentence of colloquialisms, card news, the deformation of the utilization of video and media content. Meanwhile in the comic(webtoon) content, we mention the destruction of cut(frame), the various modifications of speech bubbles, onomatopoeia, and mimetic word.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate work performance and calling as determinants of job satisfaction among nurse midwives. Methods: The participants of this study were registered nurse midwives who had worked in the delivery room for more than 6 months. Data were collected by face-to-face interviews, postal mail, and mobile devices. Subjects completed self-report questionnaires from July to August 2017. The dataset was analyzed using descriptive statistics, the independent t-test, analysis of variance, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results: The mean score for job satisfaction was 3.42±0.45. Among the sub-factors, income had the lowest score (2.67±0.72) and management of delivery had the highest score (3.81±0.66). Job satisfaction was significantly different according to marital status (t=2.25, p=.028), residential area (t=2.43, p=.016), and cause of job satisfaction (F=4.54, p=.012). Job satisfaction showed a significant positive correlation with work performance (r=.29, p<.001) and calling (r=.57, p<.001). The correlation between work performance and calling was also positive and statistically significant (r=.32, p<.001). Purpose and meaning (β=.48, p<.001) and marital status (β=-.15, p=.025) significantly influenced job satisfaction. The model developed in this study explained 45% of variation in job satisfaction. Conclusion: Nurse midwives' job satisfaction may be enhanced by entrusting them with professional roles and tasks. Above all, it is necessary to develop and provide programs that help nurse midwives connect their jobs with the meaning and purpose of their lives.

The purpose of this study is to comprehensively interpret the practical adaptation experience of male nurses working shifts and to understand the meaning and essence. The data collection period was from September 2022 to November 2022 and in-depth interviews were conducted with 9 male nurses working at tertiary general hospitals, general hospitals, special hospitals and long-term care hospitals until content saturation. Data analysis was applied according to Colaizzi's phenomenological research method, and as a result of the study, 4 categories, and 11 theme were derived. The 4 categories consisted of 'Changes due to shift work', 'Difficulties arising from gender differences', 'Adaptation for job performance', and 'Growth and direction for the future'. Through this study, it was possible to explore the meaning of the practical adaptation experience of male nurses working in shifts, and it was found that it was necessary to develop and apply work environment improvement plans and male nurses' capacity building programs for nursing work.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the elements forming interior design and to examine dimensional relationship among the elements which form space through the comparison of the spatial language and semiotics of space for the component of interior design. In addition to that it indtends to derive the principle of design which dominate interior design and the inherent diversified meaning by comparing those elements with the square of semiotic used in semiotics. Through this comparsion the meaning of constituent forming space which can be observed through the comparsion of square of semiotic has redefined flexbility among relational system of elements and this flexible concept make the scope of environment including human being broad and enriched. This study fist of all analyzes various phenomena of social culture review semiotics meta-learning and examines back theoretical ground of semiotics which is needed for space analysis. Greimas in order to analyze the meaning of literary work and defind three categories of the progressive research method for the analysis of interior design and research itself. The purpose of this study was to analyze the signification system between color and clothes systematically in black and white clothes. For this purpose, after examining the images of black and white clothes, we selected 55 clothes that represented as black and white and analyzed their meanings and the sources using semiotic framework, based on the work of Saussure and Barthes. The results as follows: First, the meaning in black and white clothes was generated from original color image. White clothes of religious person like Virgin Mary, Angel expressed pure and sacred color image. And black clothes like funeral dress expressed grief and death. Next, the meaning of black and white clothes was regenerated into modern color image by new environment. After industrial revolution, black was considered as a traditional men's fashion color. With diverse leisure activities, white sports wear appeared as active and clean image. Finally the source of the meaning of the clothes was the designer or the wearer. A little black dress by Chanel who was interested in simplicity and function represents an ideal of simple and sexy object. The situation is complicated by the fact that these three kinds of explanation may be found singly or mixed together.

The purpose of this study is to prove an importance of systemic analysis paradigm to interpret fashion make-up. This research employed 'paradigm for interpretation of fashion make-up signs' theory to analyze data. This theory consists of three steps to interpret the meaning of a work: (1) recognition of form, (2) analysis of connotation meanings, and (3) analysis of symbolic meanings and communication. The results of this study were as follows. Jean Paul Gaultier's eye make-up uses a square pattern that mostly consists of the color black. He presents a Glam Rock image by using rimmed make-up that portrays an avant-garde and a nonmainstream culture. Jean Paul Gaultier's make-up was showing black color and square eye pattern and was presenting Glam Rock image and was a rimmed make-up meaning a nonmainstream culture and Avant-garde symbolically. Chanel's make-up emphasizes the eyehole with the rimmed technique by applying the make-up of Marchesa Casati and including non-popularity, Limited Marketing symbolically. Christian Dior's make-up applies the representative make-up of Joan of Arc and Siouxsie sioux and also uses rimmed make-up to portray the meaning of religion persecution, the dark-ages militarism and including Humanism symbolically.

The purpose of this study is to recover historically disconnected regionality and to propose the meaning of regionality in the contemporary architecture. Plus, it is to analyze the expression elements of the regionality and to propose the regionality's sustainable value shown in the contemporary architecture. Range of research methods is as follows. First, it reviews and prospects for Research on the meaning of regionality. Second, it looks at the three different points of view; traditional, Regional, and cultural perspective on Regionality. Also, it extracts the elements of the expression, centered on regionalism projects shown in the modern architecture. Third, it studys the sustainability's meaning and the sustainable value appeared in the contemporary architecture. Fourth, it analysis case studies and the value regarding the application of critical regionalism, focusing on the work of Alvar Aalto architecture. In addition, it proposes the sustainable value regarding the expression centered on regionalism projects This study appears to present the meaning of regionality in the contemporary architecture, in order to recover historically disconnected regionality. In particular, the expression of regionality shown in the Alvar Aalto's architecture is made on the basis of local traditions, society and culture. And, Building forms and building materials to adapt to climate was provided as a unified relationship. This study looks forward to help seeking the various proposals and guide for the applicability and the sustainabe development of the regionality in the contemporary architecture.

This phenomenological study is to understand the meaning and essence of experience from the perspective of a New Yorker. Participants were 11 Korean single women around 30 years old who work as fashion designers or advertising designers living and working in New York. Data were collected from November, 2013 to February, 2014, and one-to-one in-depth interviews were performed for data collection. Data analysis used the descriptive phenomenological method proposed by Giorgi. Phenomenological research is useful to understand the meaning of the experience for select cases and is used as an epoch and free variation method. The study results were identified from 70 common meanings to 14 exposed themes and 4 essentially themes from a gentile New Yorker's experience. The 4 essential themes were as follows. 1) Self-realization at the highest stage, 2) Indulge in the advanced culture of affluence and freedom, 3) Collapsing every day in depressed foreign workers, and 4) Becoming a rootless gentile New Yorker.
