TPS를 이용한 경량전철의 주행 성능 향상 방안 시뮬레이션 (Train Performance Improvement Simulation of Light Rail Transit by TPS)

  • In this work, the characteristics and the improving method of train performance of Korean rubber-tired AGT system(K-AGT) and Urban MAGLEV system are evaluated by using Train Performance Simulation(TPS). The train performance characteristics of K-AGT were analysed according to the change of maximum running speed and those of Urban MAGLEV were evaluated according to a vehicle weight variation. In the result of simulation in virtual line, the scheduled speed and the running time of K-AGT system have no difference with Urban MAGLEV system if the maximum running speed is equal. But the energy consumption of Urban MAGLEV system is more than that of K-AGT system. The analyses showed that in case of a 20 percent vehicle weight reduction of Urban MAGLEV system, the energy consumption per person is similar with the K-AGT system. The Urban MAGLEV system is more efficient in long travel distance condition than in short running distance condition in the aspect of train performance.

다변풍속 적응형 Darrieus-Sauonius 초합 수직푹 풍력발전 시스템의 설계 (A design of vertical axis wind power generating system combined with Darrieus-Savonius for adaptation of variable wind speed)

  • This paper presents a design of vertical axis Darrieus wind turbine combine with Savonius for wind-power generating system to be adapted for variable wind speed. The wind turbine consists of two troposkien- and four Savonius-blades. Darrieus turbine is designed with diameter 9.4[m], chord length 380[mm], tip speed ratio 5. Savonius turbine is designed with diameter 1.8[m], height 2[m], tip speed ratio 0.95. The design of turbine is laid for the main data of rated wind speed 10[m/s], turbine speed 101.4[rpm]. The generating power is estimated to maximum power 20[kW], and this is converted to commercial power line by means of three phase synchronous generator-inverter system. Generating system is designed for operation on VSVF(variable speed variable frequency) condition and constant voltage system.

  • 345kV Incheon Thermal Power Plant Transmission Line Collapse Analysis and Countermeasures. The Typhoon Galmaegi which had been formed in July 15, 2008 diminished into a tropical cyclone and cooled the air above the West Sea. The cooled air colliding with the warm inland air caused a strong whirlwind at some places in the west seaside; the whirlwind battered the 345kV Incheon Thermal Power Plant Transmission Line to be collapsed. The resistance of transmission towers against wind pressure, one of the key elements in transmission line engineering, is designed to endure the pressure corresponding to the maximum instantaneous wind speed. Before the above accident happened, no transmission line has ever been collapsed by a whirlwind. So this paper is aimed to analyze causes that collapsed 345kV Incheon Thermal Power Plant transmission line and to introduce countermeasures.

  • 기존선 속도향상 시에 탈선안전도를 고려한 기존선 구간 (동대구-남성현) 최대 운행가능속도에 대한 기준을 제시하여 기존선의 곡선부 및 완화곡선부 통과 시 속도를 향상시키고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 탈선의 위험도가 높은 곡선부 통과하는 열차의 고속향상을 도모하기 위하여 실제 선로조건인 동대구-남성현 상 하행 구간에서의 곡선부 구간별 통과 시 탈선안전도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 곡선반경별 주행속도를 실제 선로 조건에서의 기존 속도 대비 5-20% 향상시켜 탈선안전도 해석을 수행하였다.

  • This paper suggests the algorithm for on-line efficiency control of permancent magnet synchronous motors driving the electric vehicles. The existance of unigue d-axis current is verified, which generates the maximum efficiency at operating points of motor. Using the Fibonacci search method, d-axis current converges to the minimization of inverter input power, and to prevent the variation of motor speed in process of the efficiency control, the voltage decoupled control strategy is introduced. Through the experiments, the effects of an efficiency control algorithm are verified.

  • The pulley-type tensioning device subjected to a maximum tension of 34 kN has been developed for 400 km/h high-speed railway. The tensioning device is to maintain the tension variation within 3% of the normal value, irregardless of temperature changes. Field tests shows that the tensioning device had a variation of tension which was as small as 0.6% as temperatures changed from $-5{\sim}7^{\circ}C$. Along with the tensions, we measured its X and Y movements due to the temperature changes. Based on a combination of its X and Y movements, we proposed a new performance index with which we can see if the tensioning device has troubles in operation without tension measurements.

  • 크기가 실물어구의 1/450이고, 망지는 각각 결절망지와 라셀망지를 쓴 건착망의 모형어구를 제작하여 발돌의 수중중량을 4g~20g까지 변화시킬 때의 침강속도와 죔줄의 장력을 비교한 바, 침강속도는 결절망지를 쓴 쪽이 1.4~1.8 빠르고, 죔줄의 장력은 라셀망지를 쓴 쪽이 10~20% 적었다. 따라서, 어군의 도피를 빨리 차단한다는 의미에서는 결절망지가 라셀망지보다 유리하다고 볼 수 있다.

고속철도교량의 동적안정성 평가연구 (An Evaluation Study on the Dynamic Stability of High Speed Railway Bridges)

  • In the design of high speed railway bridges is important a impact factor as a tool of assessing the dynamic capacitys of bridges. However, the impact factor(or dynamic amplification factor, DAF) of high speed railway bridges may essentially be changeable because the dynamic response is affected by the long train length(380 m), number of axles and high speed velocity(300 km/h)(Korea Train eXpress: KTX). Therefore, on this study will be examined the dynamic capacity and stability of the typical PSC Box Girder of high speed railway bridge. At first, the static/dynamic analysis is performed considering the axle load line of KTX based upon existing references. Additionally, the KTX moving load is transformed into the dynamic time series load for conducting various parameter studies like axle length, analytical time increment, velocity of KTX. The time history analysis is repeatedly performed to get maximum dynamic responce by varying axle load length, analytical time increment, velocity of KTX. The study shows that dynamic analysis has resonable results with optimal axle load length(0.6 m) and time increment(0.01 sec.) and maximum DAF and dynamic resonance happens at 270 km/h velocity of KTX.

고속철도차량 현가요소 운동변위에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Displacement of Suspension Element for High Speed Rolling-stock)

  • The suspension elements like primary coil spring, yaw damper, body to body damper are core parts of high speed railway bogie and the faults relating to these elements are reported recently. Thus, this study is started to analyze the displacements characteristics of suspension elements of high speed railway rolling-stock for the purpose of preventing the faults and developing the maintenance technology for suspension elements like spring and dampers. For this purpose, we made a plan to measure the displacements of the primary coil spring, yaw damper and body to body damper in actual running condition. We developed the measurement device to measure the longitudinal displacement and angular displacement of suspension elements and installed this device to test suspension elements. Test to measure displacements of suspension elements is conducted in service line of high speed railway. The displacement data which is acquired from the test with actual vehicles was analyzed for its maximum displacement depending on the track sections. As a result of analysis, we obtained the displacement trends occurring with the sections and valuable results like maximum values and the displacement distribution.

급곡선 궤도에서 속도제한표 적정위치 (A Study on the Location of Speed Limit Post of Curved Track)

  • A curved track needs balanced super elevation according to the speed of the passing train and it is limited by maximum allowable amount. Therefore, passing speed at high degree curved track has to be controlled below the limits. Accurate position of the Speed Limit Post(SLP), which shows allowable speed of curved track dose not regulated so design and line side maintenance engineer adopt the position differently, When the rate of cant deficiency is considered on transition-curved section, the SLP should be located at the beginning point of the transition curve so as to control the speed of passing train and it will increase ride quality to passenger.
