From the construction material the cement and the concrete which will reach to 90% are used to construction. But the cement occurrence (from the whole industry 4.4% of carbon dioxide exhaust quantity) makes the carbon dioxide of manufacture hour and anti- the recognition which is an environment industry. The cement absorbs the carbon dioxide during life period of the life time. It calls carbonation. In this study in order to evaluate the carbon dioxide absorption of the cement test produced the mortar specimens which it follows in the W/C. And carbonatable material of mortar specimens (calcium hydroxide) the quantitly it measured, reference study it led and absorption of carbon dioxide quantity it produced. Finally two result comparisons leads and it is a fundamental study which does the test evaluation possibility and a propriety investigation of carbon dioxide absorption quantity in objective.
We can expect reduction of the sunlight absorption quantity to a structure and an earth surface, a decline of the surface temperature and a decline of the heat transport volume in what there is a method I give the sunlight reflectance in the aspect to the surface of the building by painting sunlight high reflectance paint, and to reduce the sunlight absorption quantity to a structure and an earth surface and does so, and, in addition, a method high water retentivity of tree planting and the road surface of the city space uses evaporation latent heat of the water by making it, and to restrain a rise in temperature is thought about. and It is thought that I reduce the sunlight absorption quantity to not only the structure but also other structures and attention gathers to the reflexive reflector reflecting in the direction again and it is wide as a marker of a board and the clothing of the traffic sign and is used the incidence energy from a source of light for this reflexive reflector now by there is it and devises surface structure again, and controlling reflection directivity for the sunlight for the purpose of raising night visibility.
A new cable-supported bridge model consisting of suspension parts, self-anchored cable-stayed parts and earth-anchored cable-stayed parts is presented. The new bridge model can be used for suspension bridges, cable-stayed bridges, cable-stayed suspension bridges, and partially earth-anchored cable-stayed bridges by varying parameters. Based on the assumption that each structural member is in either an axial compressive or tensile state, and the stress in each member is equal to the allowable stress of the material, the material quantity for each component is calculated. By introducing the unit cost of each type of material, the estimation formula for the cost of the new bridge model is developed. Numerical examples show that the results from the estimation formula agree well with that from the real projects. The span limit of cable supported bridge depends on the span-to-height ratio and the density-to-strength ratio of cables. Finally, a parametric study is illustrated aiming at the relations between three key geometrical parameters and the cost of the bridge model. The optimization of the new bridge model indicates that the self-anchored cable-stayed part is always the dominant part with the consideration of either the lowest total cost or the lowest unit cost. It is advisable to combine all three mentioned structural parts in super long span cable supported bridges to achieve the most excellent economic performance.
A simplified algorithm is proposed for fast estimation of the material quantities required for the construction of rubble-mound breakwaters. The proposed algorithm is able to employ only the data available at feasibility study phase such as the maximum draught of the design ship selected to transport the cargos to the harbor despite, because at the feasibility phase, information for the planned harbor is likely to be very limited. A linear-constant waterdepth model together with a proposed section configuration for the breakwaters, which is customary for harbors, is considered to calculate the quantity of materials. The numerical simulation of the wave characteristics has been verified using the recorded wave data collected by a buoy installed near the Neka harbor in Caspian Sea waters. A case study has been also applied to four harbors to validate the proposed algorithm. The estimated weights using the proposed linear-constant and multi-linear waterdepth models were compared using the bathymetry maps and layouts of these harbors. A computer program, written in QBasic language, has been developed to simulate the wave characteristics and to estimate the material quantities needed to construct a rubble-mound breakwater. The obtained results show that taking into account the acceptable accuracies normally applied to the feasibility study and conceptual design phases, the proposed algorithm is sufficiently accurate and highly effective for the conceptual estimation of materials' quantities of breakwaters in the feasibility study phase of harbor projects.
The traditional mechanical manometer is improved to develop more convenient and precise manometer in continuous measurement of the gas pressure in medium-low vacuum range (1x10$^{-1}$ -10 Torr.) Glass (solid) is used as a detector material of the improved manometer. Using the strain gauge adhered to thin glass board, mechanical strain corresponding to variation of pressure in measurement system is converted into quantity of electricity, and the quantity of electricity is amplified. Experiments have also shown that the improved manometer have more advantages in reproducibility, measured sensibility, and responsible velocity than taditional one.

In this study, we compare and analyze the performance of three inventory management policies for raw material inventory management in a Precast Concrete production plant: Fixed Order Quantity Policy (FOQP), Fixed Order Interval Policy (FOIP), and (s, S) Ordering Policy (sSOP). In order to make more realistic conclusion, we developed and utilized the ARENA simulation model, a performance evaluation tool that considers the variance of raw material demand and supply for the entire production process in a PC production plant using multiple raw materials. For the three policies, reorder point, order quantity, target level, and order interval parameters were initialized by using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model and then optimized through OptQuest. As a result of optimization, inventory management costs were reduced by an average of 97.28% compared to the EOQ model that does not consider the variance of demand and supply. After setting three influencing factors, Project Occurrence Cycle (POC), Raw Material Lead-time (RML), and Unit Stock-out Cost (USC), a performance evaluation was conducted for the three policies. As a result of evaluation, the inventory management costs of FOQP and sSOP, which determine order intervals by considering inventory levels by real-time or daily, were 30.6% and 27.9% lower than FOIP with fixed order intervals respectively. In addition, inventory management costs were affected by RML and USC factors excluding POC, but the differences were 2.17% and 2.09% respectively, which were not large due to the optimization of parameters for responding the variance of raw material demand and supply.

The studies were carried out to find the cause and the quantitative evaluation of sea dike materials loss which is occured during the period of construction works for the tideland reclamation projects on the west coast of Korea. Major subjects to studies were to establish the typical relationships between the tidal flow and the movement of dike materials, the tidal-flow and the erosion, the dike materials and the ratio of material movement(losses), construction methods and the ratio of materials movement (losses). Based on the above subjects, the studies were made for the purpose of obtain the following informations; (1) Collecting and evaluaing the data of dike material losses due to foundation settlement, from designed existing dikes on the west coast. (2) By the field investigation at A-San Sea Dike, Pyong Taek Project, the Comparison would be made by the relationships between the tide velocity and the movement of dike foundation under the natural conditions and the period of construction so that find out the relationship between the dike materials of foundation situation and settlements. With regard to the dike construction works, it is so difficult to calculate the exact quantity of material losses due to the foundation settlements. The major factors that affect the settlement losses of the dike materials are: (1) Topographical variation (2) Swepting the sectional area of dike by the tide velocity. (3) Dumping riprap to the outerside of dike during the period of construction works. (4) Sectional area losses by the cause of occurence of the new tide channels. (5) material losses by the heavy storms. (6) Consolidation settlement by the foundation weakness. (7) Material losses by the earth materials by tide flow. Most hi호 material losses were occured by the Consolidation settlement due to the foundation weakness, the maximum tide velocities due to decrease the cross sectional area of the gaps and erosion of foundation due to the range of tide, Inner and outerside of dike, or dike material loses due to the tide flow. Final conclusion would be obtained by the continuous measurement of consolidation settlement at the stage of final clusure of the dike. (It is scheduled to close on the end of 1972) However, intermediate conclusion can be introduced as follows: (1) The estimation of material(losses) during the period of construction works for the existing sea-dikes up to date were only empirical. The material losses at the general closure for design was estimated at 10% of the riprap, 20% of the earth materials, and 20% of the riprap, 40% of the earth materials at the final closure of the dike. The final closure estimated double quantity to the general closure, but it is still doubt. (2) The ratio of consolidation settlements was found smaller than the calculated quantity. It can be foreseen that settlement speeds is higher thom the calculated speeds. (3) The movement of dike foundation under the natural conditions were not so depends on the geological conditions of the foundation. (4) When the tide velocities was estimated 100 at the normal tide, it was estimated 125 at the high tide and 55 at the low tide. The tide velocities at the low tide shows apparently lower than the high tide and the higher velocities at the deep water depth.

Amorphous silicon films were deposited on glass, [100] single crystal silicon wafer with thermally grown silicon dioxide, and [100] silicon wafer substrates by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition(with argon diluted silane source gas). Growth rate, UV optical band edge, and the hydrogen quantity in the amorphous silicon films have been investigated as a function of the preparation conditions by measuring film thickness, UV-absorbency, and FT-IR transmittance. The growth rate of the ${\alpha}$-Si:H films increases with increasing substrate temperture, flow rate and R.F. power density. The UV optical band edge shifts to blue with the increases in the deposition pressure. Increasing substrate temperature shifts the UV optical band edge of the films to red. Hydrogen quantity in the ${\alpha}$-Si:H films increases with an increases in the R.F. powr and decreases with an increase in the substrate temperature.

In this paper we examined, by using the PET film with thickness of 16-350$\mu\textrm{m}$, space charge focused on TSC peak at the slightly higher temperature than transition temperture of the glass. In the result we found that charge quantity, leaking current and absorbing current at TSC peak were rarely dependant its thickness at the Al foil contact electrde. In the case of Al evaporated electrode, the absorbing current was rarely dependent its thickness but TSC charge quantity at C-peak was increased directly proportional to its thickness and leaking current was decayed inversely proportional to its thickness. Also current-volteag characteristics showed sublinerar property under ohmic area at the Al evaporated electrode.

We could see that, the thinner the retaining wall is, the more advantageous Premixed Agent Type Waterproof method is in the aspect of economic efficiency. The reason is because, in the case of Premixed Agent Type Waterproof method, the thicker the retaining wall is, the higher the construction cost increases due to increase in the material quantity required which increases in proportion to the area in the case of Premixed Agent Type Waterproof method. We could see that, the thinner the retaining wall is, the more inferior the economic efficiency of Infiltration Type Waterproof method is to that of Premixed Agent Type Waterproof method, as, in the case of Infiltration Type Waterproof method, the quantity of material required is fixed in proportion to the area. Consequently, we concluded that Premixed Agent Type Waterproof method is economically advantageous up to the wall thickness of 700 mm and Infiltration Type Waterproof from 800 mm.
