  • Web-services have originally been devised to share information as open services. In connection with it, hacking incidents have surged. Currently, Web-log analysis plays a crucial clue role in detecting Web-hacking. A growing number of cases are really related to perceiving and improving the weakness of Web-services based on Web-log analysis. Such as this, Web-log analysis plays a central role in finding out problems that Web has. Hence, Our research thesis suggests Web-DoS-hacking detective technique In the process of detecting such problems through SOM algorithm, the emergence frequency of BMU(Best Matching Unit) was studied, assuming the unit with the highest emergence frequency, as abnormal, and the problem- detection technique was recommended through the comparison of what's called BMU as input data.

  • This paper represents a design method for PID or low-order controllers cascaded with a linear plant in the unit feedback system where it is required to meet the given time response specifications such as overshoot and settling time. This problem is difficult to solve because the zeros of the controller appear in the numerator of the overall system and thus those zeros may make the time response design difficult. In this paper, we propose a new approach based on the partial model matching and the so called K-polynomial. The partial matching problem is formulated to an optimization problem in which a quadratic function of coefficient errors between a target model and the resulting closed loop system is minimized. For the sake of satisfying the closed loop stability, a set of quadratic constraints associated with the cost function is introduced. As a result, the controller designed meets both time response requirements and the closed loop stability, if any. It is shown through several examples that the present method can be easily applied to these problems.

  • We propose a hand gesture recognition method that is compatible with a head-up display (HUD) including small processing resource. For fast link adaptation with HUD, it is necessary to rapidly process gesture recognition and send the minimum amount of driver hand gesture data from the wearable device. Therefore, we use a method that recognizes each hand gesture with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor based on revised correlation matching. The method of gesture recognition is executed by calculating the correlation between every axis of the acquired data set. By classifying pre-defined gesture values and actions, the proposed method enables rapid recognition. Furthermore, we evaluate the performance of the algorithm, which can be implanted within wearable bands, requiring a minimal process load. The experimental results evaluated the feasibility and effectiveness of our decomposed correlation matching method. Furthermore, we tested the proposed algorithm to confirm the effectiveness of the system using pre-defined gestures of specific motions with a wearable platform device. The experimental results validated the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed hand gesture recognition system. Despite being based on a very simple concept, the proposed algorithm showed good performance in recognition accuracy.

  • Pattern matching algorithm is widely used in many application fields such as bio-informatics, intrusion detection, etc. Among many string matching algorithms, KMP (Knuth-Morris-Pratt) algorithm is commonly used because of its fast execution time when using large texts. However, the processing speed of KMP algorithm is also limited when the text size increases significantly. In this paper, we propose a high throughput parallel KMP algorithm considering CPU-GPU memory hierarchy based on OpenCL in GPGPU (General Purpose computing on Graphic Processing Unit). We focus on the optimization for the allocation of work-times and work-groups, the local memory copy of the pattern data and the failure table, and the overlapping of the data transfer with the string matching operations. The experimental results show that the execution time of the optimized parallel KMP algorithm is about 3.6 times faster than that of the non-optimized parallel KMP algorithm.

  • This paper presents MMIC drive and power amplifiers covering 6-18 ㎓. For simple wideband impedance matching and less sensitivity to fabrication variation, modified distributed topologies are employed in the both amplifiers. Cascade amplifiers with a self-biasing circuit through feedback resistors are used as unit gain blocks in the drive amplifier, resulting in high gain, high stability, and compact chip size. Self impedance matching and high-pass, low-pass impedance matching networks are used in the power amplifier. In measured results, the drive amplifier showed good return losses ($S_11,{\;}S_{22}{\;}<{\;}-10.5{\;}dB$), gain flatness ($S_{21}={\;}16{\;}{\pm}0.6{\;}dB$), and $P_{1dB}{\;}>{\;}22{\;}dBm$ over 6-18 GHz. The power amplifier showed $P_{1dB}{\;}>{\;}28.8{\;}dBm$ and $P_{sat}{\;}{\approx}{\;}30.0{\;}dBm$ with good small signal characteristics ($S_{11}<-10{\;}dB,{\;}S_{22}{\;}<{\;}-6{\;}dB,{\;}and{\;}S_{21}={\;}18.5{\;}{\pm}{\;}1.25{\;}dB$) over 6-18 GHz.

  • In error-prone wireless environments, it is difficult to realize video coding systems that are robust to various types of data loss. In this paper, a novel motion-vector refinement approach is presented for video error concealment. A traditional boundary-matching approach is exploited to reduce blocky effects along the block boundary. More specifically, a downhill simplex approach is combined with a boundary-matching approach to fine-tune the motion vectors, reducing the blocky effects along the prediction unit block boundary, and minimizing the computational cost. Extensive simulations are performed, and the results obtained verify the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

  • We diagnosed the defect using the data obtained from the nuclear power plant simulator. In this paper, we diagnosed faults in the nuclear power plant system for discovery instead of the traditional single-component or device unit. We created the six fault scenarios and used a fault simulator to obtain the fault data. It was extracted pattern from acquired failure data. Neural network model was trained and simple pattern matching algorithm was applied. We presented a simulation result and confirmed that the applied algorithm works correctly.

  • In multibit Sigma-Delta Modulator, DWA(Data Weighted Averaging) among the DEM(Dynamic Element Matching) techniques was widely used to get rid of non-linearity that caused by mismatching of unit capacitor in feedback DAC path. this paper proposed the improved DWA architecture by adjusting clock timing of the existing DWA architecture. 2n Register block used for output was replaced with 2n S-R latch block. As a result of this, MOS Tr. can be reduced and extra clock can also be removed. Moreover, two n-bit Register block used to delay n-bit data code is decreased to one n-bit Register. In order to confirm characteristics, DWA for the 3-bit output with the proposed DWA architecture was designed on 0.18um process under 1.8V supply. Compared with the existing architecture. It was able to reduce the number of 222 MOS Tr.

  • This paper introduces a novel approach that can provide the three dimensional information about the movement of a spreader by using two CCD cameras and a laser distance measuring unit in order to derive ALS (Automatic Landing System) in the crane used at a harbor. So far a kind of 2D Laser scanner sensor or laser distance measuring units are used as comer detectors for the geometrical matching between the spreader and a container. Such systems provide only two dimensional information which is not enough for an accurate and fast ALS. In addition to this deficiency in performance, the price of the system is too high to adapt to the ALS. Therefore, to overcome these defects, we proposed a novel method to acquire the three dimensional spreader information using two CCD cameras and a laser distance measuring unit. To show the efficiency of proposed method, real experiments are performed to show the improvement of accuracy in distance measurement by fusing the sensory information of the CCD cameras and a laser distance measuring unit.
