압력면윙렛/흡입면스퀼러형 터빈 동익 팁누설영역에서의 3차원유동 및 압력손실 (Three-Dimensional Flow and Aerodynamic Loss in the Tip-Leakage Flow Region of a Turbine Blade with Pressure-Side Winglet and Suction-Side Squealer)

  • 본 연구에서는 압력면윙렛/흡입면스퀼러형 터빈 동익 팁에 대하여 익렬 하류에서 3차원 유동 및 압력손실을 측정하였다. 팁간극비 h/s = 1.36%에 대하여, 흡입면스퀼러의 높이는 $h_s/s$ = 3.75%로 일정하게 유지하고, 압력면윙렛의 폭은 w/p = 2.64%, 5.28%, 7.92%, 10.55% 등으로 변화시키면서 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 본 연구의 팁은 평면팁 대비 통로와류 영역에서 압력손실의 저감 효과가 매우 뛰어났지만, 팁누설와류 영역에서는 오히려 압력손실을 크게 증가시켰다. 본 연구의 질량평균 압력손실은 평면팁에 비해 크게 낮았지만, 전면스퀼러팁보다는 더 크게 나타났다. 압력면윙렛의 폭이 증가할수록 질량평균 압력손실은 감소하는 경향을 보였다.

USLE모형과 대체법을 이용한 밭농사의 토양유실 저감기능 계량화 평가 (Evaluation on national environmental functionality of farming on soil loss using the USLE and replacement cost method)

  • 밭농사에 다원적기능중의 하나로 알려져 있는 토양유실저감기능에 대하여 기존에 보고된 결과를 수정 보완하였으며, 그 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 우리나라 밭농사의 토양유실량을 USLE모형을 이용하여 계산하였으며, 각 인자별 값은 다음과 같다. 강우인자(R)값은 429.4, 토양침식성인자(K)값은 0.15, 지형인자(LS)값은 1.72, 작물인자(C)값은 0.275, 토양관리인자(P)값은 0.856이었다. 2. USLE모형에 의한 우리나라 밭농사의 토양유실량은 ha당 연간 26.1톤이었으나, 나지토양의 경우에는 ha당 연간 110.8톤으로서 밭농사에 의한 토양유실량은 나지에 비하여 23% 수준이었으며, 연간 밭농사는 나지토양에 비하여 84.7톤의 토양유실량 저감기능이 있었다. 이것을 밭면적전체로는 연간 62,650천톤에 해당되었다. 3. 밭농사에 의한 토양유실저감량을 객토단가로 환산할 경우 연간 4,974억원에 해당하였다. 4. 토양유실 세부모형중 LS값이 1.72로 매우 높았는데, 밭농사의 공익기능을 제고하기 위해서는 등고선, 대상재배 등 농경적인 접근과 계단전 등의 전환 등 농토목적인 접근방식이 필요하다고 생각된다.

2차 가스분사에 의한 원추형 로켓노즐 추력벡터제어 성능해석 (I) (Performance Analysis of Secondary Gas Injection for a Conical Rocket Nozzle TVC(I))

  • 풍전압력비와 2차 제트 분사구 위치에 따른 2차분사 추력방향 제어(SITVC: secondary injection thrust vector control) 성능특성 변화를 수치해석하였다. 2차 제트 분사에 의해 간섭된 수축-팽창노즐 내부의 초음속유동장을 대상으로 3차원 비정상 오일러 방정식을 내재적으로 근사인자분해된 Beam과 Warming의 방법을 사용하여 차분하였으며, 2차 분사 제트에 의한 추력비 비추력비 및 전향각에 대한 성능변화를 고찰하였다. 연구결과 측추력과 비추력비는 2차 분사 질량유량에 비래하여 증가하는 반면, 비추력 성능은 감소되어 2차 분사 질량유량이 적을 수록 추력 성능손실이 적어지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 동일한 전압력비에 대하여 2차 제트 분사위치가 노즐의 하류에 위치할수록 고속기 주유동과의 간섭에 의한 강한 충격파로 인하여 측추력과 측비추력의 증가와 함께 추력방향 제어성능이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

고도비만 환자 대상 한의 비만 상담을 포함한 한의치료의 체중 감량 효과: 후향적 차트 리뷰 (Effect of Korean Medicine Treatment Including Korean Medicine Counselling on Weight Loss in Patients with Morbid Obesity: A Retrospective Chart Review)

  • Objectives: We conducted a retrospective chart review to investigate the effects of Korean Medicine (KM) treatment on weight loss in patients with morbid obesity (body mass index [BMI]≥30 kg/m2) and to compare the effects of KM counseling and non-counseling on weight loss. Methods: We performed a retrospective chart review of patients with morbid obesity who received KM treatment for at least 1 month. We evaluated the effects of KM treatment on body weight, BMI, body fat, fat mass, EuroQol-5D, and the Korean version of the obesity-related quality of life scale (KOQOL). We also assessed the liver and kidney functions, and adverse events. We performed a comparative analysis between the counseling and non-counseling groups. Results: A total of 37 patients who underwent 4 weeks of KM treatment involving Wolbi-tang, electroacupuncture, and KM counseling were included in this study. Twenty-one patients were assigned to the counseling group and sixteen patients to the non-counseling group. There was a significant decrease in weight, BMI, fat mass, and KOQOL (P<0.05) with improvements in total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein, and triglycerides. The counseling group had a greater reduction in body weight, BMI, body fat, and fat mass compared to the non-counseling group, although it was not significant. In the BMI below 35 (n=25), the reduction ratio of body weight, body fat mass, and body fat was higher in the counseling group than in the non-counseling group; additionally, body fat decreased significantly in counseling group (P<0.05). No severe adverse effects were observed. Conclusion: KM treatment could be effective for weight loss, especially in patients with morbid obesity, KM counseling could also be a good tool for weight loss, typically in patients with BMI<35 kg/m2.

다중층 음향 재료의 투과손실 예측과 측정 (Prediction and Measurement of Sound Transmission Loss for Multi-layered Acoustical Materials)

  • In this paper, the predictions and measurements of sound transmission loss(STL) are discussed for various types of acoustical materials and carpets. Random incidence sound transmission losses are measured by the sound intensity method. The in-house software HONUS2005 is used to predict TL and estimate the various physical properties such as the flow resistivity, the structure factor, the porosity, the Possion's ratio, and etc. After this estimation, various multi-layered materials with a steel plate are measured and predicted. In particular, Carpets are assumed to be membranes to predict acoustical performance. To confirm this assumption, double and triple-layered cases are also observed including two different kinds of carpets.

  • The information of the ion composition in plasma applications is required to characterize a plasma. A better understanding of ion species composition ratio and its spacial distribution, etc. is thus necessary in plasma-related processes, such as thin film deposition, plasma-based ion implantation, semiconductor processing, and so on. In this research, a compact ion mass analyzer that is based on magnetic sector analyzer was developed and its operational characteristics were studied in nitrogen plasma.

Efficacy of supplementary cementitious material and hybrid fiber to develop the ultra high performance hybrid fiber reinforced concrete

  • The rich recipe of ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) offers the higher mechanical, durability and dense microstructure property. The variable like cement/sand ratio, amount of supplementary cementitious material, water/binder ratio, amount of fiber etc. alters the UHPC hardened properties to any extent. Therefore, to understand the effects of these variables on the performance of UHPC, inevitably a stage-wise development is required. In the present experimental study, the effect of sand/cement ratio, the addition of finer material (fly ash and quartz powder) and, hybrid fiber on the fresh, compressive and microstructural property of UHPC is evaluated. The experiment is conducted in three phases; the first phase evaluates the flow value and strength attainment of ingredients, the second phase evaluates the efficiency of finer materials (fly ash and quartz powder) to develop the UHPC and the third phase evaluate the effect of hybrid fiber on the flow value and strength of ultra high performance hybrid fiber reinforced concrete (UHP-HFRC). It has been seen that the addition of fly ash improves the flow value and compressive strength of UHPC as compared to quartz powder. Further, the usage of hybrid fiber in fly ash contained matrix decreases the flow value and improves the strength of the UHP-HFRC matrix. The dense interface between matrix and fiber and, a higher amount of calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) in fly ash contained UHP-HFRC is revealed by SEM and XRD respectively. The dense interface (bond between the fiber and the UHPC matrix) and the higher CSH formation are the reason for the improvement in the compressive strength of fly ash based UHP-HFRC. The differential thermal analysis (DTA/TGA) shows the similar type of mass loss pattern, however, the amount of mass loss differs in fly ash and quartz powder contained UHP-HFRC.

  • 1차 유동과 2차 유동이 일정 압력으로 혼합하는 초음속 이젝터의 설계 인자들에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 선정된 이젝터의 설계 인자는 1)질량유량비 2)면적비 3)1차유동의 마하수 이다. 이를 위해 이젝터 유동을 1차원으로 가정하였으며 손실이 있는 경우와 이상적인 경우에 대해 이적테의 성능을 압력비의 항으로 모사하였고 요구되는 이젝터의 수축률을 계산하였다. 또, 이젝터의 최적 설계를 위해 손실을 고려한 경우와 이상적인 경우를 비교하여 작동조건에 필요한 설계점을 도출하였다.

  • Miro propulsion device is a literally very small propulsion system The reason why such a small propulsion system is required is that micro satellites are considered as substitutions for conventional satellites to reduce cost; the fabrication of micro satellites enables us to produce mass production Microrockets have relatively high values of thrust/weight ratio due to the cube law; weight is proportional to volume and thrust is proportional to area. Accordingly, downsizing makes the ratio of thrust/weight ratio high However, conventionally ignorable facts are not negligible any more in small scale systems. for chemical micro rockets, downsizing causes lots of heat loss as surface to volume ratio increases, which results in the destruction of radical ions. For thrusters using plasma, the generation of strong magnetic field for plasma is very difficult. Also, in the aspect of flow dynamics, the effects of drag and viscosity are important parameters in low Re flows. When these problems are solved, micro propulsion systems can be commercialized and result in spin-off effects in many fields.

결정질 실리콘 태양전지용 스크린 프린팅 전극 공정 개발 (Screen Printing Electrode Formation Process for Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell)

  • The screen printing technique is one of process to form electrode for crystalline silicon solar cell and has been studied a lot, because it has many advantages such as low price, high efficiency and mass production due to simple and fast process. The reason why electrode formation is important is for influence of series resistance and amount of incident light in crystalline silicon solar cell. In this study, electrode was formed by screen printing method with various conditions like squeegee angle, printing speed, snap off, printing pressure. After optimizing various conditions, double printing method was applied to obtain low series resistance and high aspect ratio. As a result, we obtained electrode resistance 45.31 ohm, aspect ratio 4.38, shading loss 7.549% mono-crystalline silicon solar cell with optimal double screen printing condition.
