  • Despite the rapid reorganization of the center of consumption online, the fashion industry is still strengthening brand marketing using offline stores. This study investigates the psychological mechanisms of shopping flow by three mediators that influence the e-word of mouth(e-WOM) as a marketing performance variable in recent marketing. Data collection was conducted online for 241 women in their 20s and 30s. The significance of multi-mediated pathways was verified using Process 3.5 Model 6. The results for multiple mediation paths are as follows. First, the direct effect of shopping flow on brand advocacy was not significant. Second, analysis of the significance of the indirect effect via simple mediation found that the path mediated by shopping value in the path from the shopping flow to brand advocacy was significant. Third, analysis of the indirect effect by double mediation revealed all three double mediating effects of shopping flow on brand advocacy were significant(emotional response and shopping value, emotional response and store attachment, shopping value and store attachment). Fourth, analysis of the significance of the indirect effect by sequential multiple mediation established the indirect effect leading to emotional response, shopping value, and store attachment was significant. These results indicate that the operation of an experiential fashion store is not just a means for sales, but a communication tool that improves and promotes the brand advocacy by providing brand experience in a store.

  • Wide-spread practitioner literature exists for the one-to-one marketing effect from a firm's perspective; however, limited research discusses the psychological effect of one-to-one marketing from a consumer's perspective. The authors test a model that integrates the level of consumer-perceived one-to-one marketing effort (OTO-E), instrumental (i.e., perceived usefulness) and affective benefits (Le., pleasure and arousal), and attitude toward the e-store (ATE). The analysis of an online survey (conducted with 195 U.S. undergraduates) confirms the positive effect of level of OTO-E on the benefits that influence ATE. In addition, it reveals the positive effect of the affective benefits on the instrumental benefit. The results expand the current research on the value of one-to-one marketing by presenting a consumer-oriented approach. As the study was conducted in the U.S. market with intense consumer demands for individuation of service, the results should provide useful managerial/ theoretical implications to Korean apparel e-tailers, concerning their future implementation of one-to-one marketing.

  • This study aims to identify the relationship marketing factors and examine the mediating factors of perceived customer value on the relationship between relationship marketing factors and loyal on rural tourism. We collected and analyzed the survey data from the customers who had experienced rural tourism before. The results from the empirical analysis are as follows. First, through the exploratory factor analysis, four factors such as customer orientation, responsive attraction, professionalism, and ties were derived. Second, it was found all four factors have significant positive effects on loyalty. Third, both responsive attraction and professionalism have significant positive effects on perceived customer value. However, customer orientation and ties do not have significant effects. Fourth, the perceived customer value showed a full mediating effect between responsive attraction and loyalty, whereas it showed a partial mediating effect between professionalism and loyalty. Additionally, it was found that gender did not affect loyalty but significantly affected perceived customer value. This means that women had lower perceived value for rural tourism than men. To improve the loyalty of rural tourism, it is necessary to improve customer orientation, professionalism, ties, and perceived customer value.

  • The world of tourism is a tangible form of a global business trip, which is very promising because it will be estimated to be a sector capable of driving world economic growth resulting from tourists' ever-increasing movement. Currently, in Indonesia, marketing activities in this sector are an integrated process, where the main target is providing customer satisfaction. Thus, the company's marketing activities are expected to be in accordance with customer expectations. The essential purpose of this study was to analyze the mediating role of the effect of trust and customer value on loyalty. The population of this study was users of the Lentera Wisata service in Semarang City, Indonesia. The sampling used a purposive sampling method, with the criteria of male and female customers and customers who have used the Lentera Wisata Semarang service bureau more than once. The test employed multiple regression analyses and the Sobel test. The test results revealed that trust and customer value positively and significantly affected satisfaction. However, trust did not affect customer loyalty. Meanwhile, customer value and satisfaction significantly and positively influenced loyalty. Additionally, the Sobel test results revealed that satisfaction mediated the effect of trust and customer value on customer loyalty.

  • The technique is reported of identifying parameters in off-line process. The technique demands that closed-loop system consists of a reference and two-degree-of-freedom controllers (TDFC) in real process. A model process is the same as the real process except their parameters. Deviations are differences between the reference and the output of the plant or the model. The technique is based on minimizing identification error between the two deviations. The parameter differences between the plant and the model are characterized of mean value and of variance which are derived from the identification error. Consequently, the algorithm which identifies the unknown plant parameters is shown by minimizing the mean value and the variance, respectively, within double convergence loops. The technique is applied to course change of a ship. The plant deviation at the first trial is shown to occur in replacing the nominal parameters by the default parameters. The plant deviation at the second trial is shown to not occur in replacing the nominal parameters by the identified parameters. Hence, the identification technique is confirmed to be feasible in the real field.

  • This article empirically examines the relationship between values, consumer innovativeness, online opinion leadership, and new product adoption behavior utilizing wearable technology as the overall unit of analysis. The authors analyze data collected from SNS users who possess one or more wearable devices using a structural equation modeling approach to examine the direct effects. Moreover, a bootstrapping approach is adopted to explore the indirect effects between the constructs. The results indicate that consumers who value stimulation and hedonism are more inclined to possess stronger consumer innovativeness. Consumer innovativeness also positively influences online opinion leadership, ultimately leading to the faster adoption of new products. The mediating effect of consumer innovativeness between the value stimulation and online opinion leadership is also confirmed. In addition, although consumer innovativeness has no direct effect on new product adoption behavior, it does have an indirect, mediating effect through online opinion leadership.

  • This research aims to investigate the structural relationship among service quality, service value, satisfaction, relation quality and re-use intention and to establish the conceptual framework for the relationship between customer and service supplier. This research employs LISREL 8.30 for an empirical approach. With consumers in beauty shops supplying intangible and autonomous-oriented services, it was found that (1) perceived service quality was positively related to service value, satisfaction, relation quality and re-use intention, (2) service value encouraged satisfaction and relation quality, (3) satisfaction and relation quality showed relationship with re-use intention while no relationship between service value and re-use intention was tested, (4) re-use intention presented relatively strong relationship with relation quality geared from interaction between customer and service supplier than with customer satisfaction. Some implications of these results are discussed. Among others, it is noted that the small and customized firms must put their attention on relationship marketing.
