정보통신의 비약적인 발전과 더불어 보건의료에 대한 사회적 인식 변화로 인해 의료 서비스에 대한 개선의 요구가 점차 증대되고 있다. 의료서비스와 정보통신의 결합은 e-Health라는 보건의료분야의 새로운 비즈니스 영역을 탄생시켰다. 늦은 감이 있지만, 국내에서도 e-Health 산업의 성장이 본격화됨에 따라 정책적으로도 이를 적극 육성하려는 움직임을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 영국, 일본, 미국의 e-Health 현황을 살펴보고 국내 e-Health 산업에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

Low temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFT LCOs are in production today at sizes ranging from 0.33" for Viewfinders to 17" for LCD TVs with 21.3" recently demonstrated. Because of their form factor, resolution, brightness and other benefits, LTPS TFT LCD unit shipments, revenues and capacity are expected to grow rapidly, particularly for mobile applications. However, despite the strong outlook, LTPS TFT LCOs are still faced with numerous challenges from a market and technology perspective. LTPS TFT LCD producers were surveyed on which of the current challenges were the most problematic among other questions.

국내외 이동통신 시장에서 LTE로의 전환이 본격화되고 있다. 미국, 유럽, 일본 등 전세계 주요 이동통신사업자들이 LTE를 빠르게 채택하고 있으며, 국내에서도 LG U+, SKT가 금년도 7월부터 LTE 상용 서비스를 시작할 것으로 발표하여 본격적인 LTE 상용화 시대를 예고하고 있다. 올해 초 개최된 MWC 2011에서도 다양한 LTE 제품과 서비스가 등장하면서 향후 LTE 관련 업체간 경쟁은 더욱 가속화될 것으로 전망된다. 이에 따라 본 고에서는 LTE 개념 및 관련 현황을 개략적으로 살펴보고, 국내외 LTE 업계동향 및 시장전망을 분석하여 국내로의 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

청정하고 무한한 신재생에너지원에 대한 연구가 전 세계적으로 활발히 진행되고 있는 가운데, 태양광발전(Photovoltaic ; PV) 분야는 일본, 독일을 위시한 유럽, 그리고 미국을 중심으로 활발한 공급과 수요가 이루어지고 있다. 실제로 태양광발전시장을 분석한 결과, 2005년 태양전지의 생산은 전년대비 45%이상의 증가율을 나타내었고, 태양광발전시스템의 설치 부분에서 있어서도 전년대비 약 34%의 증가율을 나타내었다.

Thick films based on the mature crystalline silicon technology are expected to exhibit eversmaller cost reduction. The thin-film-based technology is, however, expected to exhibit a much sharper drop in cost as it develops. In this report, technology and recent R & D of thin film solar cell, such as amorphous silicon, cadnium telluride, copper indium diselenide and gallium arsenide, are described. Perspectives of world photovoltaic market and solar cell price are also described.

In this work, we introduce new next generation activematrix backplane technologies for large-size AMOLED displays. Among the general requirements for successful market launch of AMOLED TVs, backplane issues are discussed. It will be shown that the amorphous oxide TFT is most suitable due to large scalability and superior cost effectiveness. Development status and current challenges of amorphous oxide TFTs are discussed.

A multi-channel network(MCN) is an organization that works with video platforms, such as YouTube, to offer assistance to channel owners in areas such as "products, programming, funding, cross-promotion, partner management, digital rights management, monetization/sales, and/or audience development" in exchange for a percentage of the ad revenue from the channel. This paper examines the market trends, business trends, and future evolution of an MCN. It also examines the status of the MCN industry in the media industry and the strategic direction for future industry development.

Venture industry is becoming a driving force of Korean economy in the digital age of the 21 st century. The success of venture business depends on innovative technology, capital investment, and optimal environment providing industrial flexibility. Although venture business is starting to settle down in Korea, many barriers and challenges still remain. The current study analyzes the present status of venture business including fashion business and issues concerning the venture fund raising and provides prospective views to promote and improve venture industry in Korea.
