WTO DDA 농업협상과 유가공산업의 대응방향 (Policy Implications of the Korean Dairy Industry in WTO DDA Agricultural Negotiation)

  • The Korean dairy sector has experienced the negative impact with the market liberalization for dairy products as a result of the UR Agreement on Agriculture. Futhermore the current WTO DDA agricultural negotiation seems to make the greater negative impact on the Korean dairy sector. It is because that the ongoing negotiations on agriculture will likely result in further reductions of domestic support as well as reduction of tariffs and expansion of the market access. Therefore it's time for us to prepare the effective measures coping with the movement of the further dairy market liberalization. The main purpose of the study is to summarize and illustrate some of the major issues in the current WTO negotiation on agriculture. Also the paper presents some policy implications and missions so as to minimize the negative impacts of agricultural trade liberalization on the Korean dairy sector.

  • China's logistics industry is an growing one at a very higher rate, owing to the rapid expansion of the country's industrial base and the rise of domestic consumer markets. Essential to the development of china's economy, policy makers have paid constant attention to the logistics sector which is attracting growing volumes of both foreign and domestic investment. The inefficiencies are exacerbated by a number of factors such as transportation bottlenecks, regulatory constraints and local barriers to entry. Foreign and foreign-invested logistics companies have typically cornered the express delivery (for example DHL, FedEX), sea freight forwarding and specialized logistics services (for example Hanjin Shipping). The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the activation of Korean companies' entry into China's logistics market by studying the strategies and types for Korean companies enter into China's logistics Market.

  • The rural area is activated and if it does to sleep, that versatility the reading is necessary from the side which is various it sees. Only expansion or improvement of namely base facility it will have and there is not a possibility becoming the basic activation countermeasure. With this with the instance investigation against the traditional market activation which is developed the Gamgok from same background has both the quality of the rural and the city in the center it joins in and the far it will be able to complement a problem point it presents. Also it presents the activation plan which considers the regional quality which from the research which it sees relates with a traditional market to sleep and it does.

  • The purposes of this thesis lies in the study of marketable design through understanding of skiwear design and its market. This was done through the analysis of the present state of, and the growth of its market, modern fashion industry and the consumer, through skiwear related periodicals. I undertook the task of understanding current design trends through a study of catalogs by well-known ski wear brands, firsthand observation and photographing at ski resorts. The characteristics of present fashion industry lie in the realization of global merchandising, expansion of discount stores and tele-sales, demands for susceptible store interiors and change in consumer behavior. The market created outside of mainstream skiwear, focuses on the growth of the sportive mood over all areas of fashion, and among these developments. Skiwear trends begin to show tendencies to subdivide. Skiwear design can be divided into groups of functional sportswear for professionals, practical, snowboard-wear that combines as street-wear and finally elegant, feminine style.

The Impact of the Number of Children on Parental Labor Market Performance

  • Against the backdrop of China's implementation of the "universal two-child" policy, the expansion of higher education, and the narrowing gender gap in the labor market and family status, we investigated the impact of the number of children on parental labor supply and occupational prestige scores using data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) for 2016 and 2018. We found that the influence of children on the parental labor market shifted from labor supply to occupational prestige scores. Heterogeneity analysis reveals a more negative significant adverse impact of younger children on parental labor market performance compared with children over 7 years old. Compared to rural areas, parents in urban areas experience a more significant negative impact from an increase in the number of children. Extended families facilitate rural fathers' employment and leads to a decline in occupational prestige for urban parents.

A Comparative Study of Korean and Chinese Consumer Perceptions of Hanbang Cosmetics: A Topic Modeling Analysis of Sulwhasoo Reviews

  • This study analyzes Korean and Chinese consumer perceptions of Hanbang (traditional Korean herbal) cosmetics, specifically focusing on Sulwhasoo's Jaum two-piece set. Using topic modeling, 7,000 consumer reviews from Naver (Korea) and Baidu (China) were examined to uncover the key themes that influence consumer satisfaction and dissatisfaction. The results reveal significant similarities and differences between the two markets. In both countries, the product is frequently purchased as a gift, and price sensitivity is a major concern. However, Korean consumers prioritize delivery experiences and product functionality, while Chinese consumers focus more on product quality and effectiveness. These findings highlight the need for targeted strategies in each market. For success in Korea, competitive pricing and improved logistics are crucial, whereas in China, maintaining high product quality and capitalizing on the gifting culture are essential. Additionally, global expansion requires educating consumers on the benefits of Hanbang cosmetics, ensuring product consistency, and adapting to regional preferences. This research provides valuable insights for cosmetic companies aiming to enhance their market presence both locally and internationally.

우리나라 수출농업 활성화를 위한 농식품 수출 발전방안 (Development Strategies of Agri-food Exportation for Agricultural Export Promotion in Korea)

  • With the launching WTO, the world economy has been changing new competitive environment. Agricultural exports should be pursued actively in the market of opening era to develop the foreign agricultural product market and to improve the domestic agribusiness quality and strengthen its competitiveness. The purpose of this is paper is to understand agricultural export status of Korea to detect challenges and matter for improvement, to find new measures of export strategy for the foreign market, recent emerging export promotion with high potential growth, and to increase Korea agricultural export to new world market by using a new method. The profit and loss status is volatile since the agricultural export is in its infancy. However, we have learned lessons from previous success and failure that prior analyzing of agricultural export feasibility, phased-in expansion of agri-food export volume, connection of agri-food export and agri-food market policy. In relation to this, this paper introduces Efficient and Effective Utilization of Communal Facilities in agri-food export. Consequently, First, Export promotion scheme for agri-food is to precise analysis of import countries and to collection agri-food export procedure and agri-food market system. Second, In order to expand export agricultural products to new world market, we need to direct 3rd support program to enhancing competitiveness in expanding export of agricultural export.

  • Management flexibility to adapt its future actions in response to altered future market conditions can expand the value of an investment opportunity by improving its upside potential without the change in the downside losses. Module manufacturers in solar industry continuously have to decide how much and when its production capacity should be expanded with regards to the demand in the global markets. Either over- or under-investment can cause sunk and/or opportunity costs to the module manufacturers. Option of exercising the additional investments only on favorable opportunities can increase total value of the investment. This paper analyzes the case which shows that the expansion of production capacity with more expandibility can have more value than the rigid plan of capacity expansion. The expansion option value is equivalent to KRW 38.286 billion, thus switching the negative NPV of the initial investment opportunity into the positive value. High volatility and the high growth in the cashflows as the major business features of the renewable energy provide condition where real options can play the crucial role in increasing the investment value as well as in determining the size and timing of capacity expansion in the course of capital budgeting process.

해외진출 전략 수립을 위한 민관합작투자사업의 역량평가모델 개발 (Development of Competency Evaluation Model for Public Private Partnership to Establish Strategies for Overseas Expansion)

  • 최근 해외사업은 민간자본을 유입하여 SOC 사업을 발주하는 형태의 사업들이 증가추세이기 때문에, 해외건설 글로벌 기업들은 해외수주전략을 이에 맞게 수립하여 진출할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 개발도상국가의 PPP 역량 평가모델을 개발하여 국내 해외건설기업들이 해외진출 전략을 수립하는데 활용하고자 한다. PPP 역량평가모델은 선행연구 고찰과 해외건설전문가 면담조사를 통하여 PPP 역량평가 항목과 인프라 환경 역량평가 항목과 중요도를 분석하였다. 상기 분석결과와 전문가 조사를 통하여 해외건설기업의 PPP시장 진출시 문제점과 개선방안을 제안하였다. 특히 우리나라의 해외건설기업들이 PPP사업 진출 가능성이 높은 국가는 PPP 제도 수준이 성숙하고, 건설리스크가 낮고, 인프라 시장규모와 성장률이 높은 진출환경이 양호한 국가가 선정되었다. 또한 해외건설PPP 시장진출시 문제점으로는 PPP 투자 경험부족, PPP역량 및 인프라 환경 정보부족, PPP 전문가 부족이 도출되었고, 개선방안으로 단독진출보다는 국내외 업체와 협력하여 진출하고, PPP 사업진출 국가 환경에 맞는 사업에 맞게 진출하는 것을 제안하였다. 또한 PPP 금융 및 계약전문가의 확보를 위한 교육과정 개발과 각 국가별 PPP 정보 제공하는 방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 결과는 해외건설기업이 해외건설 시장진출 전략을 제안하여 해외진출 전략과 정책수립에 활용하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

주택 전월세시장 패러다임변화와 정책 제언 (A Study on Political Correspondence for Paradigm Change of Housing Chonsei and Monthly Rent Market)

  • 전세수급 불균형 및 그에 따른 전세가격 상승, 임대인의 월세 선호로 전세 비중이 줄고 보증부 월세 비중이 급격히 늘어나는 등 주택 임대차시장 패러다임의 일대 변화가 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 2014년 12월 임차인(일반임차인, LH임대주택 임차인), 임대인, 공인중개인 등 시장참가자를 지역, 거주 유형별로 1,150여 명의 설문조사 결과를 시행하였다. 설문조사 분석결과 시장참여자 모두 전세에서 월세로의 구조변화가 더욱 심화될 것으로 전망했으며 전세가격 상승 이유는 임차인, 임대인, 중개인 모두 집주인의 월세 선호와 전세물량 부족을 응답하였다. 주거안정 및 전세가격 안정을 위한 대책으로는 임차인, 임대인, 중개인 모두 공공임대주택 공급 확대를 최우선으로 꼽았으며, 이 외에 민간임대주택 활성화, 전세금 대출제도 확대, 임대료 보조지원 등을 지목하였다. 고소득층의 전월세시장에 대해 공공이 지나친 개입하기 보다는 시장의 자율성에 맡기는 것이 바람직하며 저소득층에 대해서는 시장원리에 맡기기보다는 장기공공임대주택의 공급확대를 통하여 중장기적으로 전월세 시장을 안정을 기하는 방안이 요구된다.
