A dispersion map was proposed to improve the compensation effect of a distorted WDM (wavelength division multiplexed) channel in a dispersion-managed link coupled with optical phase conjugation. The dispersion map is an origin-symmetric structure around the optical phase conjugator in the middle of the transmission path. In addition, the dispersion map has a form in which a constant dispersion accumulation pattern is repeated regularly. Through simulation, we confirmed that the application of the origin-symmetric dispersion map with a repetitively shaped configuration was more effective in compensating for the distorted WDM channel than in the dispersion-managed link with a conventional dispersion map. In addition, we confirmed that the compensation effect could be increased when the cumulative dispersion distribution of the origin-symmetric distribution map had a positive value in the first half section and a negative value in the second half section. Further, we observed that as the number of repeated dispersion accumulation patterns increased, the residual dispersion per span should also be increased.

Recently as users' requests for geographic information systems are being more various, several new functions are being added to existing geographic information systems. One of them is linkage of spatial geographic data and video / image data to offer more realistic information of geographic objects to users. Geographic information systems implementing this function are called video geographic information system. In this paper, we design and implement a video geographic information system for providing map data, video data and link information of them to web applications. We 1) design system architecture of a video geographic information system, 2) analyze some processes to construct link information of map data and video data, 3) design database schema to store map data, video data, and link information, and 4) design some XML/GML schema used to query and retrieve these data for web applications.

We investigated the antipodal-symmetric dispersion maps of a dispersion-managed link with a midway optical phase conjugator to compensate for the distorted 960 Gb/s wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) signal caused by these effects. The proposed antipodal-symmetric dispersion map has various shapes depending on the detailed design scheme. We confirmed that the dispersion-managed link designed with the dispersion map of the antipodal-symmetric structure is more advantageous than the conventional uniform dispersion map for compensating WDM channels. It was also confirmed that among the antipodal-symmetric structures, the dispersion map configured with the S-1-profile, in which S is inverted up and down, was more effective for distortion compensation than the dispersion map configured with the S-profile. In particular, we confirmed that the S-1-profile can broaden the optical pulse width intensively at a short transmission distance, more effectively compensating for the distorted WDM channel. Because this structure makes the intensity of the optical pulse relatively weak, it can decrease the nonlinear Kerr effect.

In long-haul optical communication system consisting of standard single-mode fiber spans and fiber amplifiers, such as the erbium-doped fiber amplifier, performance is deteriorated by signal distortion due to chromatic dispersion and nonlinearity of the fiber. A combination of dispersion management and optical phase conjugation is an effective technique to compensate for the distortion. In an optical link configured by this combination, a dispersion map mainly affects the compensation of the distorted optical signals. This paper proposes new dispersion maps configured by the decaying or expanding distribution of residual dispersion per span (RDPS) in a dispersion-managed link combined with a midway optical phase conjugator. The effect of the proposed dispersion maps on the compensation for distorted 24 channel × 40 Gbps wavelength-division multiplexed signals was assessed through numerical simulation. It was confirmed that all the proposed dispersion maps are most appropriate for the compensation and, furthermore, for the flexibility of link configuration than conventional links.

현대에는 급속한 산업화와 인구 증가로 인해 도시들이 더욱 복잡해지고 있다. 특히 도심은 택지개발, 재건축, 철거 등으로 인해 빠르게 변화하는 지역에 해당한다. 따라서 자율주행에 필요한 정밀도로지도와 같은 다양한 목적을 위해 빠른 정보 갱신이 필요하다. 우리나라의 경우 기존 지도 제작 과정을 통해 지도를 제작하면 정확한 공간정보를 생성할 수 있으나 대상 지역이 넓은 경우 시간과 비용이 많이 든다는 한계가 있다. 지도 요소 중 하나인 도로는 인류 문명을 위한 많은 다양한 자원을 제공하는 중추이자 필수적인 수단에 해당한다. 따라서 도로 정보를 정확하고 신속하게 갱신하는 것이 중요하다. 이 목표를 달성하기 위해 본 연구는 Semantic Segmentation 알고리즘인 LinkNet, D-LinkNet 및 NL-LinkNet을 사용하여 광주광역시 도시철도 2호선 공사 현장을 촬영한 드론 정사영상에서 도로를 추출한 다음 성능이 가장 높은 모델에 하이퍼 파라미터 최적화를 적용하였다. 그 결과, 사전 훈련된 ResNet-34를 Encoder로 사용한 LinkNet 모델이 85.125 mIoU를 달성했다. 향후 연구 방향으로 최신 Semantic Segmentation 알고리즘 또는 준지도 학습 기반 Semantic Segmentation 기법을 사용하는 연구의 결과와의 비교 분석이 수행될 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 기존 지도 갱신 프로세스의 속도를 개선하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

본 논문에서는 방대한 웹 자원의 연결성을 더욱 증가시키기 위해 영어 위키피디아 문서로부터 한국어 위키피디아 문서로의 교차언어 링크를 자동으로 탐색하는 방법을 제안한다. 어구의 링크확률을 대략 추정하여 사용하던 기존의 방법에 비해, 본 연구에서는 위키피디아 문서 집합으로부터 추출한 제목 목록과 링크 확률과 같은 다양한 정보들과 개체명 인식 결과를 함께 사용하여 링크가 걸릴 앵커 후보를 선택한다. 앵커 후보를 한국어 대역어로 번역한 후, 대역어에 가장 적합한 한국어 웹문서를 찾아 교차언어 링크로 설정하게 된다. 실험한 결과 MAP 수치로 0.375를 얻었다.

최근 효율적 국토자원관리와 토지관리를 위해 국토정보와 토지관련 지적정보의 연계활용에 많은 관심이 모아지고 있으며, 도면정보로써 수치지도와 지적도를 포함하는 종합적인 정보체계의 구축에 많은 관심이 모아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수치지도와 지적도의 부정합 원인들에 대한 분석을 수행하고, 두 도면간의 정확한 중첩을 위해 지도의 변환에 활용되고 있는 대표적인 알고리즘에 대한 조사를 수행하여 중첩방안을 모색하였다. 또한 도면간 정합성 확보 방안에 대한 연구를 수행함으로써 수치지도와 지적도의 통합 데이터베이스 구축을 위한 기반을 마련하고 그 품질의 향상을 도모할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

Hypermedia systems allow the retrieval and representation of multimedia in- formation such as text, graphics, image and voice/sound using navigation and browsing mechanisms. In this study we developed a hypermedia system which provides hierarchical group, local map and cluster view for effective navigation in hyperspace. The system also supports hot link, reference link, move-to link and multiple link to browse the multimedia information space effectively. This system has been designed to integrate the navigation, browsing and searching function of the hypermedia system in hyman factor perspective and provides the user-friendly user interface mechanism.

단일 모드 광섬유의 본질적인 색 분산과 비선형 Kerr 효과에 의해 왜곡되는 파장 분할 다중 신호의 보상을 위한 광 위상 공액기를 갖는 분산 제어 링크에서의 보상 효과 제고를 위한 원점 대칭 구조의 분산 맵을 제안하였다. 제안된 모든 형태의 원점 대칭 분산맵을 갖는 분산 제어 링크는 전통적인 균일 구조의 분산 제어 링크에 비해 파장 분할 다중 채널의 왜곡 보상에 효과적이라는 것을 확인하였다. 특히 알파벳 S자 형태의 분산 맵보다 알파벳 S자를 상하 반전시킨 형태인 분산 맵의 구조를 다양한 형태로 변형시켜도 왜곡 보상에 유리하다는 것을 확인하였다. 제안된 원점 대칭 구조의 분산 맵을 전송 링크에 적용하면 광 네트워크의 토폴로지를 보다 다양하게 구성할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

이 논문은 시조문화 정보 시스템 개발의 가능성과 전망을 논한 것이다. 본문의 내용을 요약하여 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1. 언어 자료로서의 시조 문화 정보 시스템은 원전 자료를 포함한 자료의 입력ㆍ교정 작업이 우선 필요하다. 2. 구축된 원시 자료를 가공할 때에는 TEI (Text Encoding Initiative), 시소러스(Thesauras) 등의 작업이 고려되어야 한다. 3. 이는 Topic Map을 구축하는 기본 작업이 된다. 4. 예술 자료로서의 시조 문화 정보 시스템은 다른 자료들 - 이미지, 동영상 등 -과의 연결(link)이 매우 중요하다.
