Lithium remains the most widely used therapeutic agent for bipolar affective disorder, particularly mania. Although many investigators have studied the effects of lithium on abnormalities in monoamine neuro-transmitter as a pathophysiological basis of affective disorder, the action mechanism of lithium ion remains still unknown. To explore the action mechanism of lithium in the brain, we examined the effects of lithium on the extrasynaptosomal concentrations of catecholamines and their metabolites. Synaptosomes were prepared from the rat forebrains and assays of catecholamines and metabolites were made using HPLC with an electrochemical detector. Lithium of 1mM decreased the extrasynaptosomal concentrations of NE from the control group of $3.07{\pm}1.19$ to the treated group of $0.00{\pm}0.00$ (ng/ml of synaptosomal suspension) but not that of DHPG. It can be suggested that lithium increases synaptosomal uptake of NE. Increased intraneuronal uptake of NE would decrease neurotransmission and extraneuronal metabolism of NE. Because increased brain NE metabolism and neurotransmission have been suggested as important components in the pathophysiology of bipolar affective disorder, especially mania, lithium-induced increase of intraneuronal NE uptake can be suspected as an action mechanism of therapeutic effect of lithium in manic patient, possibly in bipolar affective disorder.

We describe the case of a 73 year-old female patient, YSG, who initially presented with a manic episode without any previous psychiatric history and was later diagnosed as having a meningioma in the left frontal lobe. YSG's symptoms were characterized by hyperactivity, insomnia, aggressive behavior with an auditory hallucination. She showed no abnormal signs on a complete neurologic examination. A gadolinium-enhanced MRI study showed a huge, extra-axial mass with homogenous enhancement in the left high convexity of the frontal lobe. Her manic symptoms subsided after administration of risperidone 1mg and valproic acid 500mg daily, for three weeks without surgical resection of the tumor. These findings suggest that YSG's mania might have resulted from the left-sided frontal tumor, and that her symptoms were treated rapidly by small doses of risperidone combined with valproic acid. Medical staff who care for manic patients should be aware of this possibility of a organic lesion without evidence of neurologic disease.

The purpose of this study was 1) to examine the usage of mobile internet by cell phone or palm pilot, etc., 2) to analyze mobile users' lifestyles, 3) to examine preferred fashion services according to users' lifestyles and 4) to investigate service satisfaction and preference with the mobile internet. 193 university students in Seoul were randomly selected as subject. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics (i.e., percentage, frequency), factor analysis, cluster analysis and ANOVA. The results of the study were as follows: first, most mobile users spent 10 min a day for using the mobile internet (i.e., short message service) mainly in transportation vehicles. Secondly, five factors in the mobile users' lifestyle were named as: 'surfer', 'absorber', 'expert', 'accepter' and 'enthusiast'. Thirdly, two factors in the preferences of fashion service on mobile internet were 'customized information service' and 'ordinary information service'. Fourthly, according to the internet lifestyle, mobile users were classified into three groups: 'mania group', 'follower group', and 'veteran group'. The mania group was the highest group in mobile service satisfaction and service preference. Marketing implications are discussed for the successful mobile business in clothing and textile industry.

Purpose: This research aims to analyze the relationship marketing between football club organizations, players, and the fans club community. Research design, data, and methodology: An ethnographic approach was used to observe for eight months in the community, interviews, and documents analysis in Bonek Mania community fans club and Persebaya, a football club management in Surabaya, Indonesia. Results: The results show that the management of the football club has maintained the football high-end brand image in the national league. Stakeholders have endeavored to build the values and shared meaning with the public and cohesively with Bonek Mania. The struggles and achievements are intended to maintain the local collective memory of Surabaya's patriotism as the "city of heroes." Sustainable relationships were built by professional football club managers, players, and the fans club to foster the spirit, economic resources, and sustainable development. Conclusions: This research implies that it can provide direction for the management of football clubs by paying attention to relationship marketing, developing unique local values to build the customers' loyalty. Further implications were discussed.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the Pandamic Declaration on 'untact firms' listed in KOSPI and KOSDAQ market in order to verify Investor Mania Hypothesis. Design/methodology/approach - This study collected financial data for 44 untact firms in KOSPI and KOSDAQ market. Then, we employed ESM(Event Study Methodology), EGARCH model and DID(Difference-In-Difference) for analysis. Findings - First, in contrast with the benchmarking index, KOSPI 200 which shows a negative (-) abnormal return trend, the untact firms have positive abnormal return trend consistently. Second, after the Pandemic Declaration, the variability of abnormal return for the untact firms is found to be significantly positive. Third, we find that the cumulative abnormal return and volatility of the untact firms significantly increase after the Pandemic Declaration. Research implications or Originality - Based on the Investor Mania Hypothesis, we confirm that the market potential of untact firms after the Pandemic Declaration is observed when compared with the KOSPI 200.

본 연구는 수리.수문 모형화에서의 시공간 자료 분석기술 개발에 관한 연구로서, 국내 GIS엔진인 GeoMania를 기반으로 하여 개발된 HyGIS와 수리.수문 연계모형을 확립하였으며, 주요 연구 결과로, 현재 국내에서 가장 보편적이고 광범위하게 적용되고 있는 HEC-HMS 모형과 HEC-RAS 모형을 선정하여 사용자의 편의성을 도모하고, 모형의 입 출력 구조, GIS와의 연계방안 등을 분석하여 제시하였다. 또한 HyGIS-HMS 모형과 HEC-RAS 모형의 개발은 국내 GIS엔진인 GeoMania-Pro와 Add-ON 방식으로 연계되어 구동되며, 입력자료는 GeoMania-Pro 프로그램 상에서 GUI에 의한 대화식으로 구성되었다. 하나의 시스템 상에서 DEM의 구축과 종합적인 유역분석 및 체계적인 하천에 대한 지형학적 자료구축과정을 제시하였고, 국내 하천유역 및 하도망의 Geo DB와 연계되는 시스템으로 구성하였다. Thiessen 계수 계산 결과에 신뢰성을 제고하였고, CN값 구성과정은 국내 유역상황과 자료구축과정에 적합하도록 개발하였다. 또한, GRID를 이용한 하천에 대한 지형학적 자료구축 과정에 있어 보다 정확한 계산이 가능하도록 구성되었고, HyGIS-HMS 모형 및 HyGIS-RAS 모형에 대한 입력자료의 구성이 편리하도록 GUI를 이용한 입력자료 구성 모듈이 적용되었고, 이러한 입력자료가 파일로 구성이 되어 각 모형에 적용될 수 있는 형태로 구성되었다. 본 연구는 HEC-HMS 및 HEC-RAS를 이용한 HyGIS-HMS 모형과 HyGIS-RAS 모형을 개발함로써 국내유역에 대한 수리 수문 모델링시 사용자들이 하나의 GIS 엔진상에서 필요한 제반사항을 모두 구현할 수 있도록 구성되어, 엔지니어링 회사, 수자원기술자, 수자원관련 연구자들에 의해서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.이 보다 향상될 것이다.>에서 $0.0190m^3/s$로, 갈수량$(Q_{355})$은 $0.0176m^3/s$에서 $0.0189m^3/s$로 약 7%가 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 결과로부터 침투 트렌치는 저수량 및 갈수량을 증가시키는 보조수단이 될 수 있다.해 보았다. 뿐만 아니라 이와 관련된 수문요소기술을 확보할 수 있을 것이다.역의 물순환 과정을 보다 명확히 규명하고자 노력하였다.으로 추정되었다.면으로의 월류량을 산정하고 유입된 지표유량에 대해서 배수시스템에서의 흐름해석을 수행하였다. 그리고, 침수해석을 위해서는 2차원 침수해석을 위한 DEM기반 침수해석모형을 개발하였고, 건물의 영향을 고려할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 본 연구결과 지표류 유출 해석의 물리적 특성을 잘 반영하며, 도시지역의 복잡한 배수시스템 해석모형과 지표범람 모형을 통합한 모형 개발로 인해 더욱 정교한 도시지역에서의 홍수 범람 해석을 실시할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 본 모형의 개발로 침수상황의 시간별 진행과정을 분석함으로써 도시홍수에 대한 침수위험 지점 파악 및 주민대피지도 구축 등에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 있을 것으로 판단되었다.4일간의 기상변화가 자발성 기흉 발생에 영향을 미친다고 추론할 수 있었다. 향후 본 연구에서 추론된 기상변화와 기흉 발생과의 인과관계를 확인하고 좀 더 구체화하기 위한 연구가 필요할 것이다.게 이루어질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.는 초과수익률이 상승하지만, 이후로는 감소하므로, 반전거래전략을 활용하는 경우 주식투자기간은 24개월이하의 중단기가 적합함을 발견하였다. 이상의 행태적 측면과 투자성과측면의 실증결과를 통하여 한국주식시장에 있어서 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략은 존재하므로 이러한 전략을

To examine the double-faced thymoleptic(antidepressant and antimanic) effects of risperidone in mood disorders, this article reviews the psychotropic-induced mania, thymoleptic effects of antipsychotics, therapeutic effects of risperidone and risperidone(RIS)-induced mania(RIM) in mood disorders, risk factors of RIM, possible neurochemical mechanism of these thymoleptic effects, pathophysiological and clinical significance of thymoleptic effects, and suggestive clinical guideline of RIS in mood disorders. RIS appeared effective for bipolar disorder at a lower dose than that recommended for schizophrenia, especially in the cases of maintenance of mood stabilizers, and gradual titration from low doses. Manic induction/exacerbation can occur by chance during RIS treatment in mood disorders, schizoaffective disorders, and schizophrenias. The possible risk factors for RIM are refractory mood disorder, especially in bipolar I disorder with poor initial response ; refractory schizoaffective disorders, especially in bipolar type with poor initial response ; refractory chronic schizophrenias, especially with initial responses ; psychotic features ; higher initial doses ; rapid titration ; combined therapy with antidepressants in refractory depression ; and RIS monotherapy in mania/hypomania. RIS is a drug that preferentially block 5-HT2 receptors. The effects of low dose are due mainly to the blockade of 5-HT2 receptors. There are more gradual increase in D2 blockade with increasing dose and this D2 blocking properties become apparent at higher doses. This may be related to a modulation of dopaminergic transmission by 5-HT2 antagonism at lower doses with the direct action of RIS on DA receptors coming into play at higher dose. The serotonergic antagonistic effect may be important for its effects on depressive symptoms. This, together with adequate blo-ckade of D2 receptors, may not necessarily lead to destabilization of mood disorder, but rather to more therapeutic effects. Therefore, this dose-receptor affinity relationship with both antidepressant and antimanic effects according to treatment duration can explain a continuum of antidepressant effect, antimanic effect, behavioral stimulation, and manic/hypomanic induction/exacerbation. It was the recognition of a useful psychiatric side effects by a thoughtful observer with fertile minds that led to their ultimate utilization as psychotropic drugs, i.e., phenothiazine, MAOI, TCA, and lithium. And, in vivo pharmacological challenge by novel psychotropics, as a neurochemical probe, with more specific actions is a useful tool to select pharmacologically homogeneous subgroup of the same phenotypical(clinical) condition, to further study the unknown underlying pathogenesis of various mental illnesses. Finally, RIS may be a useful alternative or adjunctive drug for patients with mood disorders without psychotic features or refractory to treatment with standard antipsychotic drugs. The more conservative doses(tirated slowly from 1-3 mg/d) of RIS, and maintenance of mood stabilizer in the cases with risk factors of RIM are recommended in mood disorder.

The purpose of the study is to introduce how tessellation can be used and integrated to connect geometry to pattern in elementary mathematics educations. Tessellation examples include transformations such as translational symmetry, rotational symmetry, reflection symmetry, and glide reflection symmetry. In addition, many examples of tessellation using softwares such as Escher, TesselMania!, and LOGO programs. Further, future study will continue to foster students and teachers to try to construct their alive mathematics knowledge. The study of geometry and patterns require a rich teaching and learning environment provided by in-depth understanding of thinking connections to objects in real world.

Recently with the development of Web services by utilizing a variety of web content, the studies on user experience and personalization based on web usage has attracted much attention. Majority of personalized analysis are have been carried out based on existing data, primarily using the database and statistical models. These approaches are difficult to reflect in a timely mannerm, and are limited to reflect the true behavioral characteristics because the data itself was just a result of customers' behaviors. However, recent studies and commercial products on web analytics try to track and analyze all of the actions from landing to exit to provide personalized service. In this study, by analyzing the customer's click-stream behaviors, we define U-Score(Usage Score), P-Score (Preference Score), M-Score(Mania Score) to indicate variety of customer preferences. With the devised three indicators, we can identify the customer's preferences more precisely, provide in-depth customer reports and customer relationship management, and utilize personalized recommender services.

In this paper, I am going to analyze a correlation of Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage and the process of remediation on image media. It is because the remediation process of various digital media is letting people pass through one time of mirror stage again. Remediation for the Internet of traditional media, conflict with the virtual world and real world, identification that a virtual image changes a practical image is for it to be caused a remediation process by mutual link of various image media. The Narcissism which occurs in the relation a self with a idealized self searches a new own expression and forms a skillful mania culture. Reflexivity of active mania culture same as a Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage is to be the possibility becoming the feature of media culture of today. However, if digital media culture generation spends extremely wasting time from the image media, these image media generations cannot grow into new future-type man. According to this, it is necessory to have a study on Visual Literacy that it is related to a Jacques Lacan's Mirror Stage.
