This paper is focused on the introduction of the types of models and explanation of the fundamental concepts and theory for development and use of the corporate planning and modeling system. Nowadays, a great deal of companies have been or experimenting with some form of a corporate planning and modeling system to support managerial and strategic decision making. From previous studies it was noted that most applications have tended to be financially based. This trend will probably continue. However, with the software and hardware currently available it is likely that companies will move more toward integrated models that link marketing, production, as will as financial areas. More emphasis will undoubtedly be placed on the use of econometric modeling, since this subelement of the overall planning and modeling process is closely tied to the market place and the economy. At any rate, wherever the development of corporate planning and modeling system is directed, clear understanding for the fundamental concepts and elements of the system is settled in advance in order to develope and use it.

Our goal of this study is to confirm whether manufacturing companies' practicing JIT production system have positive effect on production performances and to confirm that manufacturing companies' practicing SPC shows positive moderate effect on the relation between practicing JIT and their production performances. Based on empirical study to manufacturing companies nationwide, we can conclude that taking JIT practices of sample companies has positive effect on production performances and, moreover, practicing SPC has positive moderate effect on the relation between JIT practices and production performances. These conclusion represents managerial implication that concurrent practicing JIT and SPC could generate more improved production performances.

각 관공서나 공공기관에서 발생되는 각종 공사현황정보와 기술정보를 시설물 전체 수명주기동안 제대로 활용하기 위해서는 시설공사관리 업무를 전자처리체계로 전환하는 것이 시급하며, 사업계획에서 준공까지 일련의 과정에서 발생하는 문서들의 보관이 비체계적이므로 이를 잘 보관하고 재 사용하기 위한 관리체계가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 공공건설분야를 담당하고 있는 지방국토관리청을 대상으로 사업단위별로 업무를 7가지로 세분화하고. 그 중에서도 핵심부분인 공공건설사업에 대한 체계적이고 효과적인 관리체계를 유지할 수 있는 웹 기반의 공사현황 정보시스템을 제안한다.

The main purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the antecedent factors of internalization in channel system. Channel members opportunism and transaction atmosphere were identified as two major antecedent factors of internalization and some deteminants of those two factors were also analyzed. By using correlation, regression, and analysis of variance, eight research hypotheses were evaluated and all hypotheses except one were strongly supported and accepted. Some managerial implications were also discussed.

An informatization evaluation is becoming a major issue among vocational colleges, as the 21th century begins. This century is characterized as Knowledge and Information era. Thus it is popular for administrative organizations to use Information Technologies as major tool to innovate themselves. The main objective of this study is develop evaluation indexes on applications of information technologies for vocational colleges because they must operate their education services by using management principles. Four major indexes were recommended to evaluate their information environment of educational service as follows. 1. Strategic Information System 2. Environmental Factors of Information System 3. Informational Resources 4. Utilization of Information Technologies Each index has 4 variables to identify the level of informatization and every variable is consisted of several questions. Such an evaluation system will be applied for vocational colleges to know their own situation of IT application and to develop managerial strategies by using IT. This system also will be useful to compare you with your potential competitors and to find appropriate polices of IT application by measuring the indexes at different points of time.

Purpose This study investigates the associations between SNS fatigue and stress of smartphone SNS, with SNS characteristics. The study focuses on two types of SNS characteristics: information and systems characteristics. We examine SNS stress factors that includes the communication and system overload. Design/methodology/approach To test the proposed hypotheses, the study conducted structural equation modeling with Smart PLS 3.0. The study conducted A sample of 286 participants was collected from SNS users. Findings The results indicated that the information relevance in the information characteristics had an effect on the communication overload, but it had not an effect on the system overload. The information accuracy had an effect on the communication and system overload. The app pace of change influenced the communication and system overload, but the app complexity influenced the system overload. Finally, the SNS stress showed significant relationship with SNS fatigue. The academic and managerial implications were discussed based on the this results.

The purpose of this study is to analyze a case of unit management system introduced and operated in a university hospital. The system was designed and applied to six clinical departments and centers to help to achieve the medical revenue and profit targets. The case hospital is now in the second year of the system operation. Major findings of the study are as follows; Firstly, the leadership style of the unit manager is the most important factor in management of the unit. The transformational leadership style was more effective than the transactional one. Secondly, unit manager's managerial ability is another key factor to the success or failure in achieving the responsibility targets. Thirdly, the degree of divisionalization and responsibility should be strengthened to activate both unit managers and medical specialists.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance difference between multi-hospitals and free-standing hospitals. Scholars in industrial economics argue that, due to economies of scale and integration, multi-hospital system may have a better performance compared to freestanding hospitals. The study overturned the hypothesis based on a theory. By analyzing 425 acute-care hospitals in Korea, this research shows that multi-hospital systems and market factors, which have been perceived to be strengths to hospitals, are negatively related to hospitals' financial performance. Specifically, the results showed a better performance of freestanding hospitals compared to multi-hospital systems. Higher labor and administrative cost by multi-hospital system may be the reason for the difference, and it means they are not more effective at cost control. Managers in multi-hospital system, therefore, should pay attention on cost-reducing issues to regain managerial efficiency of organizations.

Many theorists argued that firms should obtain and their unique resources for sustained competitive advantage under the competitive business environment. Knowledge has been recognized as one of key strategic resource, which is scare, valuable and reasonably durable in both KM literature and practice. however, firms usually face difficulties in identifying which knowledge is a core strategic resource, so that they are wasting time and managerial energies by managing all of knowledge in an organization. This article is composed as follows, the definition of knowledge-management as the norm of the work process, the status arrangement of the knowledge-management system and the old information system of architecture and interior design, the knowledge-management system set-up method and model, and the knowledge creativity and the application culture make-up method. In particular, the present study explains the method that is applied to the use of the knowledge-management system and the application it.
