Recently, ERP system is used as a important tool of management innovation for enterprise's survival and development. It is very important to recognize how much influence to organizational performance through ERP system implementation. The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of environmental, organizational, information systems characteristics on successful implementation of ERP systems in Korean SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises). From previous researches on ERP adoption and implementation, 7 independent variables (competitiveness, government support, top management support, process innovation, project management, IS maturity, and ERP customizing), and 1 dependent variables (successful implementation of ERP systems) are identified. 3 questionnaires were removed from the study because of missing or inappropriate responses, and final samples are 91 SMEs. The results of hypothesis testing show that determinants of successful implementation of ERP systems are top management support and IS maturity. Five variables such as competitiveness, government support, process innovation, project management, and ERP customizing do not significantly influence to successful implementation of ERP systems. The contribution of this study is that it provides an empirical evidence of the causal relationship between ERP adoption factor and ERP success. This study showed that top management support and IS maturity are essential to accomplish successful ERP implementation for SMEs.

As the Internet is used extensively, multimedia information becomes more prevailing and accessible. However, legacy decision support systems rarely mention how to put such multimedia contents into practical use for decision making and support. In particular, no proposals have yet been made on how to integrate the decision technologies and multimedia databases in model management systems. Hence, the aim of this paper is to propose a new model management method to integrating decision technologies and an image database management system to create a multimedia decision support. For this purpose, extended ARG and structured modeling techniques are adopted, to represent image contents and mathematical models respectively. A web-based prototype system is presented to illustrate the feasibility and usability of the methodology.

This study concerns logistics support analysis record(LASR) which provides guaranteed support, and is needed in various weapon systems development and acquisition to develop the optimal factor for integrated logistics support(ILS) by reflecting the results of logistics support analysis(LSA). We observe and analyze the logistics management information(LMI) system used in the United States under the integrated data environment(IDE), and analyze the differences between logistics management information system and the LOADERS(logistic support analysis data entry and retrieval system) which is currently used in Korea. Based on the analyzed results, a improvement model that corresponds to reality and can be applied is presented.

Even though, many enterprises began to use management information system, they were not able to attain remarkable outcome. Thus, a purpose for this research is to explore effect that characteristics of information technology and executive support have on its user's confrontation In order to verify this purpose, we selected Nong-hyup's CRM as an object for a proof of effect that characteristics of information technology and executive support have on its user's confrontation. According to this research's conclusion, characteristics of information systems have notable influence on user's confrontation, while executive support did not have significant influence on it. Yet, this research has its limits by considering characteristics of information technology and support from board of directors as only variables among many other possible reasons for user's confrontation. Thus, in the future, there should be another research that considers more various reasons for user's confrontation.

The present study aimed to examine the relationships between work-related support factors and attitude towards teleworking and explore the moderating effect of self-identity on that relationship. The present study collected data from 343 IT professionals in South Korea through a survey method and used hierarchical multiple regression analyses. In the results, first, the more supervisory or work-related supports participants perceive in teleworking platforms, the more favorable their attitudes towards teleworking. Second, the positive relationship between supervisory support and attitude towards teleworking is stronger for participants high rather than low in interdependent self-view. However, interdependent self-view was found to have no significance on the relationship between work colleague support and attitude towards teleworking. This study is the first to examine the integral model of work-related support factors of attitude towards teleworking and explore the moderating effect of self-identity in the teleworking process.

In this paper, we propose a multi-layered architecture of workflow management systems based on CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture). The system aims to support product development processes in distributed environment. Many companies have started to adopt workflow management systems to manage and support their business processes. However, there are many problems in direct application of those systems to product development environments. These mainly resulted from the dynamic features of product development processes. It is strongly required to support dynamic processes as well as static and procedural ones in an integrated and consistent manner. To meet these requirements, a basic workflow management system has been developed as the core component of the integrated architecture. This performs the basic functions of workflow management system. Second, a dynamic workflow management system based on a bidding mechanism has been developed to manage processes that cannot be easily defined or are likely to be modified, Finally, an SGML workflow management system, which is the third layer in the architecture, has been developed to manage documents processing workflows by integration SGML documents contents and process information into the structured SGML document.

In order to develop VirtuAlmighty system, CPDM (construction project data management) and CPLM (construction project lifecycle management) model must be settled beforehand. Because most of information systems based on 3D-Design have its own database and business process. So, our team will develop collaboration management architecture of construction process for Decision Support based on PLM (Project Life-cycle Management). This architecture with business processes and Database can be used in process develop, process monitoring with many stakeholders of project, process change management, and so on.

The purpose of this study were i)to investigate children's perceived social support and satisfaction with level of social support and ii) to investigate the relations between children's social support and their adjustment. Subjects of this study were 412 children from the 5-6th grades of elementary school and the data were analyzed by GLM analysis canonical correlation analysis using SAS. The results were as follows: 1)Children's perceived social support levels differed across support providers and support types. 2) A canonical correlation analysis of the children's social support and the children's adjustment demonstrated that perceived maternal and peer support levels were most highly correlated to children's adjustment and satisfaction with the social support of providers in this study was highly correlated to children's adjustment.

Generally speaking, weapon system is defined as a combination of primary system and support system which are evaluated by capability and operational availability respectively. Recently comparison of total life cycle cost shows that logistic support system is proved to be more important than primary system. However, until now systematic approach to support system development has not been applied in the area of developing support system. We need to construct a universal metric for effectiveness of logistic support system and to cut out whatever activities or support elements which do not contribute to the metric. This paper describes a new approach based on system engineering approach to logistic support system and also classifies five factors of failure, stock-out frequency, administrative delay time, active repair time and logistic delay time that have influence on operational availability of logistic support system.

Recently, Decision Support Systems (DSS) research has seen a more to combine Artificial Intelligence (AI) including neural network techniques with traditional DSS concepts and technologies to build an intelligent DSS or a knowledge-based DSS. This article proposes a Management Evaluation and its Support System (MESS) as a knowledge-based DSS. The management evaluation of a firm means the performance of all managerial operations is appraised by considering the situations of the firm. A neural network is used to represent the management evaluation structure as a suitable means of management knowledge representation. Finally a case study in a telecommunication corporation is presented.
