Recently, ERP system is used as a important tool of management innovation for enterprise's survival and development. It is very important to recognize how much influence to organizational performance through ERP system implementation. The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of environmental, organizational, information systems characteristics on successful implementation of ERP systems in Korean SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises). From previous researches on ERP adoption and implementation, 7 independent variables (competitiveness, government support, top management support, process innovation, project management, IS maturity, and ERP customizing), and 1 dependent variables (successful implementation of ERP systems) are identified. 3 questionnaires were removed from the study because of missing or inappropriate responses, and final samples are 91 SMEs. The results of hypothesis testing show that determinants of successful implementation of ERP systems are top management support and IS maturity. Five variables such as competitiveness, government support, process innovation, project management, and ERP customizing do not significantly influence to successful implementation of ERP systems. The contribution of this study is that it provides an empirical evidence of the causal relationship between ERP adoption factor and ERP success. This study showed that top management support and IS maturity are essential to accomplish successful ERP implementation for SMEs.

Information systems introduction and application are increasing suddenly from the enterprises while approaching the information age. It requires to manage the IS performance and understand quality of information systems for obtaining the competitive power of the enterprise through IS. Six Sigma is widely recognized today as a process improvement methodology that can cut costs and eliminate defects in information industry as well as manufacturing processes. This study provides a framework for managing performance of information systems which are used to obtain competitive advantage.

Personalization and customization of product and service designs involving firms and customers using online design interfaces across the Internet is increasingly being facilitated by brands. Research on the role of information technology and value co-creation across various research disciplines in management has provided learnings on ways to creatively improve products and services by integrating customers and firms in web portals. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the specific attributes of value co-creation between customers and firms relevant to business logic, learnings, projects, personalized products and services, social network innovations, brand management and markets across the Internet for the purpose of enhancing information management of value co-creation for industries and research. The paper draws on published research and industry surveys on how value co-creation is growing in the digital economy. An industry survey of managers who use web portals for their business responded to a questionnaire on how various social, economic and intellectual motivation factors of firm-customer interactions result in value co-creation for customers and firms. These motivation factors can lead to improved learning systems for business process improvements and service management for industries, customers and firms and may also be classified.

This paper discusses management education by utilizing the cyber education learning system in a web-based. New learning system tools offer great promise for a new contents of management learning. The cyber education learning system a shift from face-to-face lecturing to interactive learning. The situation changes profoundly when information technology becomes develope and education paradigm is shift. By exploiting the digital media. educations, and students, managers can shift to a new, more effect cyber education learning system. The following shift from classic educations to cyber educations learning system: from instruction to construction, from teacher-centered to learner-centered, from school to lifelong, from one-size-fits-all to customized, from teacher as transmitter to teacher as facilitator. Cyber education learning system has an important role to play in management education. Web-based technology is regarded as a general solution to cyber education learning. This study discussed many factors of implementation in cyber education systems and provide utilizing the learning system at main, detail functions. Lastly, management implications of these cyber education utilize are discussed in more detail.

We tested the relationship of elements in influence about software performance. our research is detect the significant element in the software system. we affronted to find relation elements with software quality and seek what relationship is the most important in performance activity. this study's result will be useful for them ; first, give to product a high quality guide line to software developer. second, it will be use for basic information about in software examine research.

This study empirically examined the relationship between the level of advanced manufacturing technology (AMT) and the information amount of management accounting, such as nonperiodic and future information, and nonfinancial performance. We also investigated the effects of the fit between AMT and accounting informations on the performance of management accounting-information systems (MAS). In this study, the information satisfaction about MAS is used as the surrogate of MAS performance. The results show that the information amount of management accounting is positively associated with the stage of AMT. It is also proved that the information amount of MAS which matches with the level of AMT increases the information satisfaction. However, the information amount that is not compatible with the stage of AMT can not contribute to the improvement of information satisfaction.

The issue of customer-centric enterprise focusing on realizing customer needs has recently received considerable attention in the corporate world. However, little research has yet been reported on developing Information Systems (IS) supporting the customer-centric enterprises. This research proposes an integrated approach of IS development that supports organizations aiming to become customer-centric enterprises using various customer profiles. In this paper, we propose an integrated approach unifying goal modeling, business process modeling, and information systems modeling. The approach is expected to be seamlessly linked with the object-oriented systems development approach. Finally, we apply this approach to the real case of a securities company in Japan.

Recently, most of the information system use environment is changing to GUI environment based on windows and web. Most of the development tools for building such a GUI-based information system support object-oriented and event-driven programming concepts. However, there is still a lack of a development methodology that systematically supports event-based information system construction. From a business perspective, an information system is one that supports business processes efficiently and effectively to improve business performance. These business processes are composed of business activities which involve a series of business events. A business event is executed according to a business scenario. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp these events in the requirements analysis stage and to apply it on the system development methodology. However, information systems development methodology which systematically reflect the event processing concept still is insufficient. From this viewpoint, this paper proposes an event-driven scenario-based development methodology that can meet the recent development environment of information systems, and applies the proposed methodology to a small scale information system development case.

Policy-based Network Management (PBNM) has been presented as a paradigm for efficient and customizable management systems. The approach chosen is based on PBNM systems, which are a promising and novel approach to network management. These systems have the potential to improve the automation of network management processes. The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) has also used policy concepts and provided a framework to describe the concept as the Policy Core Information Model (PCIM) and its extensions. There are policy conflicts among the policies that are defined as the policy information model and they are not easily and effectively detected and resolved. In this paper, we present the brief description of PBNM and illustrate the concepts of policy core information model and its policy implementation for a network security. Especially we describe our framework for detecting and resolving the policy conflicts for network security.
