The $21^{st}$ century is a new century of environmental protection. Environmental protection is one of the most important subject matters yet to come. Moreover, as the public pays more attention to environmental problems, enterprises should increase their investment in environmental management. Therefore, determining the investment level for environmental management and allocating the investment to associated environmental management activities has become a major task. The principal and agent theory and sales response functions are used for analysis in this research. The allocation of capital investment in environmental management is found to have significant impact on the aggregate sales response, aggregate profit and investment level. Therefore, in preparing the budget for environmental management, enterprises should focus on investment allocation decisions, determine the investment level and allocation method using integrated means, and apply submarket data in the allocation decision-making process. In other words, in setting the investment level, executive management should take managers' willingness into consideration. In allocating capital investment, managers should identify the optimal allocation method based on submarket characteristics.

디지털 저작물의 전송환경이 빠른 속도로 바뀜에 따라서 디지털 저작물의 저작권 보호가 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다. DRM(Digital Right Management)은 디지털 저작자나 출판업자, 그리고 인터넷 서비스 제공자들에게 디지털 저작물을 접근하고 사용하는데 있어서 신뢰할수 있는 환경을 만들수 있는 관심있는 분야이다. 본 논문에서는 라이선스 에이전트를 이용하여 기존의 DRM 기법이 가지고 있는 정적인 DRM이나 온라인환경에 제한된 어플리케이션의 단점을 개선한 디지털 저작물의 보호기법에 대하여 제안한다. 제안된 논문은 동적인 DRM기법으로 동적인 요구 제어 기술을 바탕으로 라이선스 에이전트를 이용하여 온라인과 오프라인 환경에서 동시에 모니터링과 추적을 수행한다. 제안된 시스템은 PKI 보안 환경에서 사용자의 행동이나 데이터 보안을 실시간으로 감시하여 불법적인 접근과 사용을 막는다.

다양한 무선 네트워크상에서 멀티미디어 멀티캐스트 서비스에 대한 기대가 날로 높아지고 있는데, 이는 IP 멀티캐스트 그룹 관리가 무선 환경에서도 효과적이면서 효율적으로 동작하여야 함을 가정하고 있다. 하지만, IGMPv3/MLDv2는 무선상에서 신뢰성이 없는 시그널링, 느린 상태의 전환, 낮은 주파수당 전송 효율, Bulk Report, Dormant 모드를 방해하는 등의 문제가 있어 무선 환경에서 그대로 사용하기에 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 무선 호스트 에이전트(Wireless Host Agent; WHA)를 도입하여 무선 링크 사이에서의 시그널링을 줄이고 그룹 관리의 효율성과 신뢰성을 높이는 기법을 소개한다. 또한 시그널링 비용 모델을 제시하고, 그 성능을 비교하였다.

Recently the container volume in the global trade is steadily increasing. In an effort to cope with this trend, major ports of the world are stepping up the introduction of high-tech equipments, trying to establish a highly efficient information system, and improving the internal work processes of their container terminals. For speedy and effective cargo handling, they are making every effort in the diverse fields. The purpose of this study aims at developing an intelligent multi-agent system for the gate work of a container terminal, which is the place of authority transfer in a container terminal. The agent system suggested in this study has made a comparison between COPINO information by TOS (Terminal Operating System) and information on containers and trucks recognized at the gate passage, checking up their efficiency, and performing the function of controlling outside truck's input-output. Also, based on the records of outside truck's gate passage, some gates can be operated flexibly, consequently enhancing the efficiency of the gate function. The results of job performance will immediately be notified to the customers and terminal managers, thus helping them make decisions speedily.

CPFR(Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment)은 기존의 생산관리 패러다임(Paradigm)을 탈피하는 새로운 협업적 생산 극대화 시키는 데 목적을 두고 있다. CPFR의 핵심은 정보 공유를 기반으로 하는 공급망상 참여 기업간의 협업이며, 이는 매우 불확실한 시장 상황 하에서 끊임없는 발생하는 예외사항들을 처리하는데 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 참여 기업간의 협업을 가능하게 하는 블랙보드 기반 협업 에이전트(Blackboard Based Collaboration Agent) 구조를 제시한다. 또한 화행 이론(Protocol)을 제시하여 참여 기업간의 협동 과정을 제어하는 방식을 구현한다.

최근 들어 인간의 컴퓨터 사용을 보다 지능적이고 편리하게 대행해줄 수 있는 지능형 에이전트 개념에 대한 관심과 응용에 대한 기대가 커지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 에이전트 기반의 은행 금융상품 관리시스템을 모델링하고 이를 바탕으로 은행 금융상품을 보다 편리하고 지능적으로 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 이를 위하여 각각의 역할을 가진 여러 가지 에이전트들을 도입하였고, 이들의 협동과 조정을 통해 은행 금융상품 관리면에서 보다 편리하고 지능적인 시스템을 제안하였다.

본 논문에서는 지능형 의료 정보 제공을 위한 멀티 에이전트 시스템인 MAMI(Multi-Agent system for Medical Image)의 에이전트 플랫폼의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다. MAMI는 여러 의료 정보 중 의료 영상을 위한 멀티 에이전트 시스템이다. MAMI의 가장 중요한 구성 요소는 에이전트 플랫폼이고, 각 에이전트들이 동작할 수 있는 물리적 기반을 제공해 준다. MAMI는 FIPA(Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agent)가 제안하는 관리 모델을 따르고 있다. MAMI에서는 COM(Common Object Model)과 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)로 인코딩된 ACL(Agent Communication Language)을 메시지 교환에 이용하고 있다. 의료 인력을 하나의 에이전트로 개념화하여 시스템에 연결함으로써 소프트웨어 에이전트와 휴먼 에이전트가 지식을 공유하기에 적합한 물리적 기반을 제공해 주며 지능형 의료 정보 서비스를 용이하게 해준다.

이동 단말기들은 이동통신 서비스의 발달과 더불어 다양한 멀티미디어 기능을 포함하는 컨버젼스 단말기로 진화하고 있으며, 사용자들로 하여금 다양한 서비스를 원활히 이용할 수 있도록 고성능화되어 가고 있다. 이러한 이동 단말기의 고성능화는 기기 자체에 대한 복잡한 설정을 요구하며, 잠재적인 H/W 또는 S/W 오류 발생 가능성과 설치 프로그램 간 충돌로 인하여 시스템 성능 저하 등의 문제를 가질 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 단말기 관리에 대한 필요성이 대두되어, 이를 위한 기구로서 OMA(Open Mobile Alliance)가 결성되었다. OMA는 이동 단말기 관리의 표준으로 OMA DM(Device Management)을 제시하였다. 최근에 공개된 OMA DM v1.2는 이전 스펙보다 개선된 이동 단말기 관리 방법을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 이동 단말기를 위한 OMA DM v1.2 기반 관리 에이전트에 대한 설계 및 구현 내용을 보인다. 이 에이전트는 C언어로 구현되었으며, 이동 단말기의 관리 객체를 획득, 변경 그리고 추가하기 위해 TNDS(Tree and Description Serialization)를 사용함으로써 적은 양의 네트워크 트래픽으로 효과적인 단말기 관리가 가능하다.

When studying the film industry, researchers have seldom addressed the dynamic interaction between marketing information and word of mouth in the motion picture industry mainly because of the limitation of traditional research methodologies. This study explores integration and competition among important variables influencing on audience's choice on movie selection, particularly by using a new method of agent-based modeling including competitive environment. Decision process of moviegoer composed of transition probability based on multinomial logit model, considering marketing and box-office information, critique, and word of mouth from other moviegoers. After validating the fitness of market share among released movies, this study conducted a set of simulation experiments considering several variables such as market size, change of weight between variables, and movie performance under competition. Propositions are derived from the simulation results is also suggested for future research.

전자상거래가 활성화됨에 따라 제공되는 상품의 정보와 서비스의 내용이 점차 다양해지고 있다. 따라서 구매자들은 가격 정보뿐만 아니라 다양한 상품 정보들을 검색 추천해주는 에이전트 개발을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전자상거래에서 도서 정보 검색과 관련하여 사용자의 선호도를 프로파일 형태로 표현하고, 도서 정보를 검색 및 추출하고 이를 추천하는 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 멀티 에이전트 시스템은 정보검색, 정보추천, 사용자 인터페이스, 웹 로봇과 같은 여러 개별 에이전트들의 동작들을 조정 에이전트의 설계 및 구현을 통하여 통제하고 관리한다. 본 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 윈도우즈 NT 서버에 구현하였다. 조정 에이전트의 관리 기능으로 중복된 정보 검색을 제거할 수 있었으며, 고객들에게 여러 온라인 도서 사이트의 도서 정보들을 실시간으로 제공할 수 있게 되었다.
