The purpose of this study was to examine male students' awareness and receptivity of cross-sexual fashion. The subjects in this study were 480 male university students and 320 high school boys. After a survey was conducted in August 2007, the following findings were given: 1. How much the students were interested in fashion was investigated, and they thought of fashion often, Even though nothing any fashion shopping plan they were interested display of fashion market and logged onto online fashion shopping malls frequently. 2. As for awareness of cross-sexual, they got a mean of 2.79(1.10), which indicated their awareness level was below the average. Those who were more intrigued by fashion, who were university students and who had a girl friend were better cognizant of cross-sexual. 3. To what extent they were receptive to cross-sexual fashion was checked in terms of clothes, haircare, skin care, accessories and perfume/cosmetic surgery and they were most receptive to cross-sexual haircare(3.49). Those who cared more about fashion were more receptive to cross-sexual. The Value of clothes and perfume/cosmetic surgery for university students was higher than the high school students. 4. They were most receptive to other's cross-sexual haircare(3.51) and to other's cross-sexual clothes(2.77) the least. Those who were more intrigued by fashion were more receptive to others seeking after cross-sexual. The Value of clothes sand perfume/cosmetic surgery for university students was higher than the high school students. 5. There was a strong correlational relationship among their interest in fashion, awareness of cross-sexual, receptivity to their own being a cross-sexual man and receptivity to others who are cross-sexual. The findings of the study illustrated that those who were more intrigued by fashion and who were better aware of cross-sexual were more receptive to cross-sexual fashion.

The aim of this study is to clarify the style of fashion design which represented three types of erotic mood. And it will have its significance in finding out some standards which call be applied to practical designing. The positive analysis on this study is composed of two parts-the analysis of fashion journals and of questionaire. Analysis of fashion design is to seize and to compare frequence of 17 style of fashion design in the delivery of erotic mood in $\ulcorner$Mot$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$Vogue$\lrcorner$. The questionaire is to investigate preference and inclination of perception in erotic mood of 17 style of fashion design by sex and age. The results were as follows: 1) In $\ulcorner$Vogue$\lrcorner$ than in $\ulcorner$Mot$\lrcorner$ erotic style ate actively made use of. 2) To suggest style of fashion design expressed 3 moods of erotic can be applied to practical designing is as follows. The research purposes are (1) to identify male market segmentation based on fashion involvement, (2) to compare purchase intention of clothing items and store attribute evaluation at two different retail formats, department store and internet shopping mall, and (3) to compare the influence of store attributes on intention to purchase fashion products at two retail formats among segments. The data are collected from 275 male consumers through internet research institute. The major results of this study are as follows. First, the dimensions of fashion involvement are identified into external involvement and internal involvement. Male respondents present high mean scores on external involvement items, emphasizing social roles of clothing. Two involvement factors generate three market segments: high involvement group(32.4%), external involvement group(44%), and low involvement group(23.6%). Second, high involvement group shows higher mean scores on purchase intention of seven clothing items than low involvement group. Third, department store attributes are identified into four factors, product assortment, quality per price, service, and symbolic image, while internet shopping mall includes assortment & convenience, quality per price, and symbolic image. High involvement group again presents higher mean scores on each retail attribute factor than low involvement group. Finally, quality per price is the most significant variable to explain the purchase intention at department store among three market segment, whereas assortment & convenience and quality per price are important predictors to increase purchase intention at internet shopping mall. However, relative importance of each attribute variable is different among three involvement groups.

This study analyzed the influence of other customers' perception (similarity, physical attraction, and suitable behavior) of the fashion retail environment on male customers' store attitude and behavioral response. In addition, comparing the effect of store type, this study comprehensively provides the effect of other customers' perception in fashion retailing. In order to investigate research questions, an online survey was conducted and 220 responses were analyzed using AMOS 18.0. The results of this research were as follow. First, the dimensions of physical attraction and suitable behavior of other customers influenced toward target customer's fashion store attitude. Second, the effect of store attitude towards the perceiver's behavioral response was proven. Third, customers established their store attitude by other customers' physical attraction in luxury stores, while others' behavior was meaningful in SPA store. Fourth, other customer's similarity dimension did not influence the male customers' store attitude. This study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of other customer's effect in fashion stores by examining different store types. In addition, managers may establish a customer portfolio strategy and training based on this research.
This study examined relationship among fashion product attributes of schoolbag, product satisfaction and repurchase intention. Total 315 questionnaires were distributed to the female/male students in Daegu and GyeongJu. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression were conducted using SPSS 13.0K statistics program as data analysis. The independent sample t-test was also conductd to examine the differences among sex, domicile, middle and highschool students. The findings hum the analysis are described in the following: First, female students is higher subjective fashion product attributes(fashion, individuality, refined) and objective fashion product attributes(design, color) importance than male students in purchasing schoolbag. High school students is higher subjective fashion product attributes(fashion, individuality) and objective fashion product attributes(brand, color) importance than middle school students in purchasing schoolbag. Second, product satisfaction are positive influenced by practicality and individuality of subjective fashion product attributes. Product satisfaction are not influenced by fashion and refined of subjective fashion product attributes. Third, product satisfaction are positive influenced by brand and design of objective fashion product attributes. Product satisfaction are not influenced by price and color of objective fashion product attributes. Forth, repurchase intention in schoolbag are strong positive influenced by product satisfaction.
The study is to provide the types of fashion consumption of male and female university students and to analyze fashion involvement to the types and students' source of fashion information. Then the correlations were examined between fashion involvement and source of fashion information. The data were analyzed by a factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, cluster analysis, cross-tabulation analysis. The results are as follows: 1. The awareness about fashion consumption is classified into five factors: "hedonic consumption", "impulsive consumption", "brand loyal consumption", "prudent consumption", and "independent consumption". The fashion involvement to the types is categorized into four factors; "pleasure", "trend", "image", and "risk awareness". The source of fashion information is categorized into "mass media", "product information", and "personal information". 2. The fashion consumption is classified into three types: "an independent consumer type", "a brand loyal/ prudent consumer type", and "an impulsive consumer type". 3. In the fashion involvement to the types and the source of fashion information, there is a high correlation between the factors of "mass media" and "trend", "product information" and "pleasure" and "personal information" and "trend".
The purpose of this study is to derive the type of image pursued by men at work and to present the fashion style element as a method of expressing the image to be pursued. The was carried out by deriving the types of seeking images of men at work through literature research and questionnaire on seeking images and analyzing cases through FGI. The results of the study on fashion style elements for each type of image pursued are as follows. First, the reliable image appeared a gentle and formal fashion style, and colors and items were identified as the main elements of expression. Second, the refined image appeared in a chic and dandy fashion style, and colors, fabrics and items reflecting trends were identified as the main elements of expression. Third, the neat image was identified as a simple and minimal fashion style, and details, fabrics, and colors were identified as the main elements of expression. Fourth, the luxurious image was found to have an intellectual feeling in a classic fashion style, and color and material are the main elements of expression. Fifth, the dignified image appeared in a fashion style that was well-dressed and felt classy and heavy, and colors, patterns, and items were identified as the main elements of expression. Sixth, the energetic image emerged as a business casual style, except sporty or active functional styles, with overall comfortable and cheerful feeling, fit, color, and items were noted as the main elements of expression.

There has recently been increasing male college students' interest in and expenditure on fashion apparel. Specifically, the younger generation has a tendency to take an interest in knitwear due to its potential benefits such as elasticity and flexibility. The purpose of this research is to identify male college student's knowledge and buying behavior of knitwear and to provide the related information to academicians and industrial personnel. The subjects of this research were male college students in their twenties who live in Seoul and Gyounggi areas. 450 questionnaires were randomly distributed to the 20s male students from April 20, to May 4, 2009, and 409 questionnaires were correctly received. The results are as follows: First, Male college students' interest in knitwear is not above the average. Second, they focus more on a practical value of knitwear than on an aesthetic value of knitwear. Third, when purchasing knitwear, male college students first consider design, followed by color, pattern and quality. Forth, male college students want to be shown as a neat image when they wear knitwear.
This study was performed to investigate the relationship between the fashion lifestyle and the ornament wearing practices of college students. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 545 college students (male students 36.7%, female students 63.3%) in the Cheongju area, Korea. Frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, t-tests, $X^2$ and ANOVA were used for data analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Fashion lifestyle of students was classified into 4 factors; fashion oriented, aesthetics pursuit, brand preference and reasonable economy. Based on the factor scores, 4 clusters were identified; practical, brand oriented, personality and self conspicuous. Female students were more affiliated to personality and self conspicuous group than male students. 2) They owned earrings, necklaces and rings, in the order. There were significant gender differences in the wearing practices of ornament. 3) Also, there were significant differences in the ornament wearing practices according to fashion lifestyle.
Fashion leadership of middle- and high-school male student was measured. The subjects were divided into five subgroups including, fashion dual leaders(13.3%), innovators(10.3%), opinion leaders(7.6%), followers(52.3%), and laggards(16.3%), according to their innovativeness and opinion leadership. The findings were as follows : fashion dual leaders were very confident and fashion-conscious while other subgroups were very price-conscious and quality-aware. Among the fashion information sources included in the study' my own experience and opinion' was the most Important to all 5 subgroups. Generally the higher the fashion leadership was, the more actively utilized fashion information sources. The fashion magazine and commercials as information sources was not as important to the subjects as it was to college women. Apparel shopping behavior was also significantly different among subgroups. As a whole, the general characteristics, such as. the use of fashion information and the apparel shopping behavior, of opinion leaders and innovators were similar, but those of followers and laggards were very dissimilar.
