The required standards for environmental tests for communication and electronic equipment used currently in the army are not standards into which the Korean climate and use environment are taken into consideration. But the environmental testing standards of the U.S. army at the time of its establishment(MIL-STD-810) “A” version has been used without taking into consideration the Korean domestic situation and conditions by simply translating the US standards. Adherence to these standards may limit the ability to supply materials in case of emergency since the increase in the manufacturing costs according to excessively strict standards induces an increase in the acquisition cost of military equipment, unnecessarily high maintenance and repair expenses are consumed, and stocks of parts for the military use have to be retained at all times.

Subway widely used as a major mean of public transportation both at home and abroad contributes to ease chronic traffic congestion in cities. However, subway operating expense is expected to increase continuously because subway requires vast amount of money at the construction stage, huge sum of maintenance cost is spent during operation, and passenger needs for more convenient facilities is increasing. on the contrary to enormous operating expenses, fare that is occupying most of operating income doesn't come up to its prime cost causing chronic operating deficit. It is urgent to prepare fare system improvement measures to increase operating income in order to resolve financial difficulty of a subway operating organization. Therefore, the current study analyzed present condition and problems of subway fare system, and suggested improvement measures such as improvement of fare adjustment procedure, improvement of free-ride system, diversification of ticket, etc.

External wall cleaning is a task that is currently being performed by human workers. The recent surge in the number of high-rise buildings has led to such problems as difficulties in cleaning the wall, high risk to the specialized workers, and increased maintenance expenses. As a fundamental measure to perform external wall cleaning work in a safer manner, automation/mechanization has been on the rise. This research aims to classify façade types and analyze the performance requirements of a wall-cleaning robot, as preliminary research to develop a wall-cleaning robot. The replacement of specialized workers with robots is expected to improve both safety for workers and quality of cleaning.

In Korea, the rental apartments for low-income bracket have greatly been built and are being built now. But their management system is quite unstable and the residents' participation in the management is excluded throughly from the beginning. As a result, there are increasing complaints about their low quality of management as well as a self-righteous managerial behavior by the housing company. Therefore, it is required to be managed by residents in the rental apartmenr and especially the organization of management, such as decision making-executing-audition body, should be operated by the residents. To achieve this purpose, the management law should be consolidated into one and the method o imposing the expenses of repairing and maintenance should be improved by The Ministry of Construction and Transportation.

For investment calculation of capital assets, it is desirable to grasp the limiting factors of its calculation. The limiting factors can be listed as follows; $\circled1$ difficulty in estimating the service life of capital assets. $\circled2$ difficulty in estimating the receipts, and operating and maintenance expenses of the project. $\circled3$ difficulty in determining common Minimum Attractive Rate of Return. $\circled4$ difficulty in estimating the salvage value of the assets. $\circled5$ some limiting factors on present worth calculation of the projects. $\circled6$ Some limiting factors on payout period method of the economic calculation.

The problem of water leakage due to damaging waterproof in concrete structure, causes the impediment in a long term and shortened the life span of durability. There are a lot of techniques for repair and reinforcement to improve using environment. However, the improper construction which is unconsidered various environmental conditions, could effect to increase the maintenance expenses. Therefore, this study will be compared and estimated the adhesion liquid and sheet integrate waterproofing material, as analyzing the existing problem. For those result, we would like to arrange the alterative plan for the long durability and user needs of concrete structure.

Barber bogie and Y25 bogie is the main bogie of freight car which is used in the Korean railway. In case of Barber bogie and a mixed formation tile maximum speed limit of empty car is 70 km/h and that of loaded car is 90 km/t and also it runs a speed of 110 km/h in time of an exclusive formation of Y25 bogie. The car named as high speed freight car at present is Y25 bogie which modeled on the Y25 bogie or Europe developed in 1993, Y25 bogie has no problem about the running capacity up to the speed of 110 km/h, but it works as limiting factors to tile increasing cost of maintenance and repair expenses which caused by repair of bogie and the cost of materials. This study is going to describe the contents examined by analysis and tests, aimed at being used as an index of plan in the future through the strength test of high speed freight car which is used now.

Recently Korean enterprises that branch out into China have been continuously increased to achieve diverse objectives such as personnel expenses reduction, market share extension on China and globalization strategy implementation. We have studied about competitiveness reinforcement of enterprises that branch out into China in terms of TPM(Total Production Management). In this paper, we extended the concept of traditional TPM(Total Productive Maintenance) to TPM(Total Production Management) that covers extensively the concept of total management innovation activities. We explored detailed activities of TPM and voluntarily participative field research circle. Also, We suggested some prerequisite conditions for TPM settlement that might be recommended for the foreign companies in China and checked Key Performance Indicator(KPI) that could be useful to confirm how TPM contributed to enterprise competitiveness reinforcement.

CSP(Concurrent Spare Parts) is supplied with the procurement of new equipment or weapon system and is used to sustain the equipment without resupply during the initial coverage period. This study is concerned with a problem of determining the near optimal inventory level of the spare parts, especially Concurrent Spare Parts. For this, we utilize the mixed periodic and continuous review polices considering the CSP and (r,Q) Policies concurrently in a two-echelon distribution system. We propose the mathematical model to minimize the total cost which is composed with ordering cost, purchasing cost, holding cost, and stickout cost. If the mixed policy is compared to other policies(CSP, (r,Q)), the proposed methodology performs well and is best policy in the equipment maintenance expenses.
