FeCoSiB계 아몰퍼스 자성박막의 자기-임피 던스 효과 (Magneto-Impedance Effect of FeCoSiB Amorphous Magnetic Films)

  • 본논문은 FeCoCiB계 아몰퍼스 자성박막의 주파수에 따른 자기 임피던스(MI)효과에 관하여 조사한 것이다. 영자왜를 갖는 아몰퍼스 자성박막은 고주파 스파터링법에 의하여 제작하였으며, 자계중 열처리를 행하였다. 제작된 자성박막에 직접 외부자계를 인가했을 때, 자성박막의 양단간의 전압진폭은 120[MHz]에서 약 76.2%의 변화를 보였으며, 임피던스는 2.1%/Oe의 변화가 나타났다. 따라서, 제작한 자성박막은 센서소자로서의 가능성을 갖고 있음을 확인하였다.

  • MI(Magneto-Impedance) sensor which is made by thin films has significantly high detecting sensitivity in weak magnetic field. It also has a merit to be able to build in the low power system. Its structure is simple, which makes it easier to prepare a miniature. In this study, its magnetic permeability and anisotropy field($H_{k}$) as a function of a thickness of sputtered amorphous CoZrNb films with zero-magnetostriction and soft magnetic property are investigated. In order to make a uniaxial anisotropy, film was subjected to the post annealing in a static magnetic field with 1KOe intensity at 250, 300, and $320^{\circ}C$ respectively for 2 hours. Magnetic properties of film are measured by using a MH loop tracer. Its magnetic permeability of a film is measured over the frequency range 1 MHz to 750MHz. And, it was examined on the permeability and impedance to design the MI sensor which acts at 50MHz by thickening a CoZrNb film relatively, and fabricated the MI sensor which acts at the 50MHz.

Excellent Magnetic Properties of Co53FE22Hf10O15 Thin Films

  • Nanocrystalline CoFeHfO thin films have been fabricated by RF sputtering method. It is shown that the CoFeHfO thin films possess not only high electrical resistivity but also large saturation magnetization and anisotropy field. Among the composition investigated, $Co_{53}FE_{22}Hf_{10}O_{15}$ thin film is observed to exhibit good soft magnetic properties: coercivity ($H_{c}$) of 0.18 Oe; anisotropy fild ($H_{k}$) of 49.92 Oe; saturation magnetization ($4{\Pi}M_{s}$) of 15.5 kG. The frequency response of permeability of the film is excellent. The excellent magnetic properties of this film in addition of an extremely high electrical resistivity (r) of $185\;{\mu}cm$ make it ideal for uses in high-frequency applications of micromagnetic devices. It is the formation of a peculiar microstructure that resulted in the superior properties of this film.

CoCrMo/Cr 자성박막의 제조조건이 자기적성질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Sputtering Conditions on Magnetic Properties of CoCrMo/Cr Magnetic Thin Film)

  • 스퍼터된 자기기록매체 Co-10at%Cr-2at%Mo/Cr 자성박막의 제조조건이 미세구조와 자기적특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 기판의 온도는 상온-$250^{\circ}C$로 하였으며 Cr하지층과 CoCrMo층의 두께는 각각 $1000-2500\AA$, $300-800\AA$이었다. CoCrMo층의 두께가 $500{\AA}-800{\AA}$ 증가함에 따라 결정립은 미세화 되었으며 균일한 조직을 나타냈다. 보자력은 기판의 온도, CoCrMo자성층, Cr하지층의 두께 를 증가시켰을때 향상되었다. 기판온도가 $250^{\circ}C$, 자성층의 두께가 $700\AA$, Cr 하지층의 두께가 $1000\AA$일때 880 Oe의 보자력을 나타냈다.

External Magnetic Field of Journal Bearing with Twined Solenoid

  • In this paper, the distribution of internal magnetic induction intensity of oil-film bearing twined solenoids was proposed. The magnetic field was generated by solenoids and magnetized bearing. The magnetized bearing was simplified as solenoid model. The mathematical model of magnetic induction intensity at any point of finite solenoid was deduced. Through experiment method, the distribution of the internal magnetic induction intensity of oil-film bearing and the magnetizing current formula of bearing was obtained. Further, the magnetic induction intensity distribution of magnetization bearing was solved successfully. The results showed that the magnetic induction was a second-degree parabola with open upwards along the axial plane and the distribution of magnetic induction intensity was opposite to the rule of magnetic induction intensity generated by solenoids. In addition, the magnetic flux density increased linearly with the increase of current.

FTS장치의 자계 분포에 따라 제작된 AZO 박막의 특성 (Characteristic of AZO Thin Film Deposited by Facing Targets Sputtering with Magnetic Field Type)

  • We investigated magnetic field, discharged voltage, and as-deposited film uniformity at facing targets sputtering (FTS) system with magnetic field type: i) concentrated and ii) distributed magnetic field type. And Al doped ZnO (AZO) films were prepared at two magnetic field type such as concentrated magnetic field type and distributed magnetic field type, respectively. Discharge voltage at the distribution type is lower than concentration type due to low magnetic flux (middle magnetic flux: Concentration 1200 G and Distribution 600 G). The films deposited at the distributed magnetic field were more uniform than concentration type. All of prepared AZO films had a resistivity of under $10^{-4}[{\Omega}{\cdot}cm]$ and a transmittance of more than 85 % in the visible range.

A Finite-element Method Analysis of Electromagnetic Noise Absorption in a Coplanar Transmission Line Integrated with a Magnetic Film

  • A finite-element method is used to analyze loss generation and electromagnetic noise absorption characteristics of a coplanar waveguide transmission line integrated with a magnetic thin film. Parameters used in the analysis are the electrical resistivity of the magnetic layer and the thickness of both magnetic and insulating layers. The results indicate that L-C resonance is the main loss mechanism of the electromagnetic noise absorption.

Co-Cr(-Ta)/Si 이층막의 자기적 특성 (Magnetic properties of Co-Cr(-Ta)/Si bilayered thin film)

  • In order to investigate the magnetic properties of CoCr-based bilayered thin films on kind of underlayer, we introduced amorphous Si layer to Co-Cr(-Ta) magnetic layer as underlayer. With the thickness of CoCr, CoCrTa single layer, crystalline orientation and perpendicular coercivity was improved. It was revealed that by introducing the Si underlayer, the c-axis orientation of CoCr, CoCrTa magnetic layer was improved largely. However, with increasing Si film thickness, perpendicular coercivity and saturation magnetization of Cocr/si, CoCrTa/Si bilayered thin films was decreased. Grain size of bilayered thin films became larger.

이중 나선형 NiFe 자성 박막인덕터를 이용한 원칩 DC-DC 컨버터 (Double rectangular spiral thin-film inductors implemented with NiFe magnetic cores for on-chip dc-dc converter applications)

  • This paper describes a simple, on-chip CMOS compatible the thin-film inductor applied for the dc-dc converters. A fully CMOS-compatible thin-film inductor with a bottom NiFe core is integrated with the DC-DC converter circuit on the same chip. By eliminating ineffective top magnetic layer, very simple process integration was achieved. Fabricated monolithic thin film inductor showed fairly high inductance of 2.2 ${\mu}H$ and Q factor of 11.2 at 5MHz. When the DC-DC converter operated at $V_{in}=3.3V$ and 5MHz frequency, it showed output voltage $V_{out}=8.0V$, and corresponding power efficiency was 85%.

A Fully Integrated Thin-Film Inductor and Its Application to a DC-DC Converter

  • This paper presents a simple process to integrate thin-film inductors with a bottom NiFe magnetic core. NiFe thin films with a thickness of 2 to 3${\mu}m$ were deposited by sputtering. A polyimide buffer layer and shadow mask were used to relax the stress of the NiFe films. The fabricated double spiral thin-film inductor showed an inductance of 0.49${\mu}H$ and a Q factor of 4.8 at 8 MHz. The DC-DC converter with the monolithically integrated thin-film inductor showed comparable performances to those with sandwiched magnetic layers. We simplified the integration process by eliminating the planarization process for the top magnetic core. The efficiency of the DC-DC converter with the monolithic thin-film inductor was 72% when the input voltage and output voltage were 3.5 V and 6 V, respectively, at an operating frequency of 8 MHz.
