An Educational Program of Luminaire Design based on Component Attributes (성분적 속성에 기초한 조명기구디자인 교육프로그램)

  • This research was carried with emphasis on the technical contents of lighting design which had various knowledge system in the educational viewpoint. First of all, phisiolosical and physical factors were considered with the process of vision between human and light. Next, components of attributes in the lighting fixture were prescribed to analyze concept of the fixture. Finally, I proposed educational program in the instruction to meet the purpose of this research. As a result, in overall research concerning the basic direction and structure, instruction should have balance to reconcile theory and practice about lighting. Second, in terms of expansion of cognition about lighting, experimental education that is considered with interface is needed to make practical verification through relationship with man-made environment and scientific data.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the concept of an integrated unit and to develop integrated units considering the layout of luminaires and diffusers in workspace. An integrated unit can be defined as a planning unit which satisfies the environment comfort criteria of workspace. Integrating process of each unit was proposed by considering the current workspace planning process. Luminaire and diffuser types are classified by surveying the workspace of the domestic and foreign office buildings. Several lighting units and air-conditioning units were developed by visual and thermal simulation, and integrated units for various architectural module which satisfies the visual and thermal comfort criteria were drawn from those units.

  • We need to how about activity types, lighting conditions and physical features in a plate that is a object for the reasonable and economic lighting design. Thus, lighting designer analyzes spare features and completes lighting design by using luminaire that has a suitable luminous intensity distribution. There are special data in this study from analysing about activity types, lighting conditions and physical features of intelligent buildings that are getting an essential infrastructure in the information society. Intelligent building could be classified with office space, passing space, high ceiling space, one-side working space for the analysis. Also, four luminous intensity distributions and fluorescent fixtures, which are the mutt used luminaires in office building, are designed from the data of intelligent building.

  • In lighting design, the calculation of maintenance factor is performed by calculation considering light source, characteristics of luminaire and environmental factors. The method to calculate the current maintenance factor applied to tunnel lighting design takes into consideration only pollution factors in tunnels. In addition, the calculation method should be change in response to changes of tunnel conditions and used light sources. In this study, the calculated factor of the maintenance factor in tunnel is determine by four calculation factors generally applied to the calculation of maintenance factor. This study examined the method of calculating the maintenance factor of tunnel lighting that can be applied according to the installation conditions in designing tunnel lighting by applying the actual installation data of luminaire.

  • Affordance is a kind of mental physiology, used by psychologist Donald A. Norman as a design idea, defined as "the property that something can directly and essentially provide something to a person or animal". This idea of returning to the essence and providing properties intuitively has a new guiding effect on product design. The purpose of this thesis is to take the theory of affordance as the basis of design concept, and redesign the shape of desktop lamps in small home appliances, so as to optimize the product shape. A product styling design method based on the concept of affordance is established through four major classifications of affordance, and a styling design scheme is completed using a tabletop luminaire in small home appliances as an example, and then a product styling design evaluation system is used to evaluate the new tabletop luminaire styling design scheme and the existing styling, and the evaluation results are analyzed. Finally, it is concluded that a new product styling design method based on affordance is constructed, and the feasibility and effectiveness of this method are verified, which provides ideas and theoretical basis for product styling design.

  • 수명이 길고, 효율이 좋은 광원 개발은 무엇보다 중요하다. 그러나 광원의 상용화, 광원의 모든 장점을 효과적으로 발휘할 수 있도록 하는 조명기구의 개발 또한 광원개발 만큼 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현재 개발 중에 있는 무전극램프(전구형, 환형)의 다양한 적용범위 대한 조명기구의 반사갓 설계를 다룬다.

  • 조명기구의 종류에 따른 도로조명 실태를 조사하기 위하여 최근 조명기구가 새롭게 교체된 도심지의 도로를 대상으로 조도와 휘도를 측정하였다. 도로조명기준에 제시된 측정법에 맞도록 장비를 구성하여 측정되었으며, 측정결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • This study attempts to prove a superiority of slide-cover lighting. In order to solve these problems, cover materials with slide-type, blind cover should be prepared to make it easy to replace the light bulbs in a short time and to introduce a sense of decorative taste.   • 친환경적이고 고효율적인 신광원의 개발이 더욱 가속화되면서 개발되고 있는 면광원에 대한 프리즘 설계법의 기초 연구로서, 면광원의 배광을 예측한 라이브러리를 생성한 후 넓은 분포를 갖는 대칭형 배광의 프리즘 조명기구를 설계하고 Lumen micro를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 프리즘 조명기구에 대한 성능을 평가하였다.

  • 축구 전용 경기장에서 캐노피에 설치되는 등기구의 위치를 Pattern Search법을 이용하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션하였다. 조명 등기구 배치간격을 변화시키는 시뮬레이션을 통해 국·내외(FIFA, 유럽방송연맹, KS) 기준에 명시된 수평면 조도, 수직면 조도, 균제도, 눈부심 정도에 적합한 최적의 값을 찾았었다. 향후 국내 축구 전용 경기장 조명기구의 설계 및 시공, 유지관리 보수시 많은 참고가 되었으면 한다.
