This study was conducted to compare the emotional state between the mothers with low-birth-weights and mothers with normal infants, and to analyze the effects of home visiting for the low-birth-weights in one city. Data were collected from 51 mothers with low-birth-weights and 90 mothers with normal infants to compare emotional state, and from 26 mothers with low-birth weights to evaluate the effect of home visiting care. Summaries of results were as follows; 1. In mothers with low-birth-weights, social support form others was significantly lower than those of mothers with normal infants. Although the differences were not significant, mothers with low-birth-weights have more stress and child rearing burden, and less maternal self-esteem than those of mothers with normal infants. 2. Mothers with low-birth-weights, the more burden, postpartum depression, and the less husbands' support they felt. When they had lower maternal self-esteem and lower husbands' support, child rearing burden was higher. Also there was significant negative correlation between maternal self-esteem and postpartum depression. 3. In mothers with low-birth-weights, the score of post-intervention stress, care-giving burden, and postpartum depression were somewhat decreased, and maternal self-esteem was increased than pre-intervention data, although they were not statistically significant. 4. Mothers' satisfaction on the home-visiting care was considered to be high. In summary, mothers with low-birth-weights had lower social support even though they experienced more stress than mothers with normal infants. Therefore, public health nurse in community should pay more attention to them.

Objective : This study was performed to estimate the association between cigarette smoking and effect of oriental medical treatment in low back pain. Methods : We reviewed 40 male patients of low back pain, who were hospitalized at the Oriental Medical Hospital of Se-Myung University. 40 patients were divided into 2 groups(smokers, non-smokers) and effective scores of treatments were measured on age, symptom, etc. Result & Conclusion : Between smokers and non-smokers, statistically significant differences were not found in effective scores of treatments of low back pain, but in almost every non-smokers, they were higher than those of smokers. They seems to show that possibility of the association between cigarette smoking and effect of oriental medical treatment in low back pain.

In this study, a plastic hardening constitutive equation for steels of polar class vessels at low temperature is proposed. The equation was derived using the experimental data obtained from tensile tests at room and low temperatures. Tensile tests at low temperature are both costly and time consuming because an expensive cold chamber is necessary and it takes too much time to cool down a specimen to set temperature. Using the proposed plastic hardening constitutive equation the plastic hardening characteristics of steels for polar class vessels at low temperature can be easily predicted from the tensile test results at room temperature.

In this paper the platform system for IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate WPAN is designed and fabricated. IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate WP AN system serves the functions and realization of home-area network. According to the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, there are two modes, One is BPSK modulation in 868/915MHz frequency band. The other is O-QPSK modulation in 2.45GHz frequency band. In this paper we implemented the platform system mounted in one PCB board in 868/915MHz frequency band of IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate WPAN system. We measured that the platform system which consists of digital part and RF part has good performance. Also RF part is realized by design and fabrication of the RF transceiver IC. The key issue is to make the platform system which provides the function of Low Rate WPAN system to meet the requirement of IEEE 802.15.4 standards.

In this paper, we present an integrated rail-to-rail fully differential operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) working at low-supply voltages (1.5 V) with reduced power consumption and showing high DC gain. An embedded adaptive biasing circuit makes it possible to obtain low stand-by power dissipation (lower than 0.17 mW in the rail-to-rail version), while the high DC gain (over 78 dB) is ensured by positive feedback. The circuit, fabricated in a standard CMOS integrated technology (AMS 0.35 ${\mu}m$), presents a 37 V/${\mu}s$ slew-rate for a capacitive load of 15 pF. Experimental results and high values of two quality factors, or figures of merit, show the validity of the proposed OTA, when compared with other OTA configurations.

The high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steels have low carbon contents (0.05~0.25% C) in order to produce adequate formability and weldability, and they have manganese contents up to 1.7%. Small quantities of silicon, chromium, nickel, copper, aluminum, molybdenum are used in various combinations. The results contained in this paper can provide the valuable information on the development of $-40^{\circ}C$ low temperature HSLA. Furthermore, the present experimental data will provide important database for casting steel materials of the offshore structure.

The purpose of this study was to describe the difference of weight distribution between healthy persons and low back pain patients during normal standing posture and to help the evaluation of weight bearing. 30 healthy persons and 30 low back pain patients being treated as hospitals in Taegu area participated in this study. The results were 2.63kg id the difference of weight distribution of healthy group and 3.04kg in low back pain group. This study was not significantly different between healthy and low back pain group.

In this paper, electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuits with an advanced substrate-triggered NMOS and a gate-substrate-triggered NMOS are proposed to provide low trigger voltage, low leakage current, and fast turn-on speed. The proposed ESD protection devices are designed using 0.13 ${\mu}m$ CMOS technology. The experimental results show that the proposed substrate-triggered NMOS using a bipolar transistor has a low trigger voltage of 5.98 V and a fast turn-on time of 37 ns. The proposed gate-substrate-triggered NMOS has a lower trigger voltage of 5.35 V and low leakage current of 80 pA.

A new compact microstrip low-pass filter and its equivalent-circuit model are developed. The philosophy of the structure behind this novel microstrip low-pass filter is simple as it is composed of a pair of symmetrical parallel coupled-line and an open-stub. With this configuration, a finite attenuation pole near the stopband cutoff frequency is available and adjustable by simply tuning the circuit parameters. Furthermore, the rejection bandwidth of this type of low-pass filter can be extended. In order to validate the feasibility of the proposed design method, a low-pass filter based on a microstrip structure is designed, fabricated, and measured. Experimental results agree very well with the simulation and analytical results.

In this paper, the design of class AB BiCMOS log-domain filter for low-voltage and low-power was proposed. This filter is consist of a log-domain integrator using folded junctions with capacitor connected to emitter and it's class AB structure. A comparison between the proposed class AB BiCMOS log-domain filter and classical class A BiCMOS log-domain filter is drawn on the basis of SNR, THD and the frequency response. This comparison shows proposed filter are more than good SNR, THD and frequency characteristics than more class A log-domain filter for low voltage and low power.
