Bacillus sp. K-1과 그의 변이주가 생산하는 Biopolymer의 물성에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Rheology of the Biopolymer produced by Bacillus sp. K-1 Strain and its Mutants)

  • 볏짚으로부터 분리한 Bacillus sp. K-1과 그 변이주 KM-21과 KM-83이 생산하는 biopolymer들의 물성학적 성질을 비교 조사하였다. 은도에 따른 biopolymer의 겉보기 점도는 온도가 높아짐에 따라 감소하였으며, $20^{\circ}C$일 때에 비해 $80^{\circ}C$일 때 KM-21 균주가 생산하는 biopolymer는 1.7배, K-1균주의 biopolymer는 2.7배, KM-83 균주의 biopolymer는 1.9배 정도로 낮은 점성을 보였다. Biopolymer 용액의 점성은 농도가 증가함에 따라 크게 증가하여 6%의 농도에서 가장 높게 나타났으며, 2%, 4%, 6% 모두 pseudoplastic특성을 나타내어 농도에 대한 의존성이 매우 높았다. 6%의 농도일 때 2%의 농도와 비교해서 전단 속도가 $93\;sec^{-1}$ 일 때 KM-21은 26배, K-1은 56배, KM-83은 28배로 모균주의 biopolymer인 K-1이 가장 높은 점성을 보었다. pH에 따른 점도 변화는 pH7.0에서 최고를 보였으며, 알칼리성 조건일 때에 비해 산성조건에서 상대적으로 낮은 값의 점성을 보였다.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the capacity of epoxy injection method using low pressure mixed with high pressure. Injection depth test and flexural strength test were respectively performed on $40{\times}45{\times}35$ cm and $100{\times}10{\times}40$ cm specimens. Considered as the test variables were injection type(low pressure, low and high pressure), crack width(0.25 mm, 0.50 mm), injection direction(upper, lower, side), and epoxy viscosity(low, medium, high). Test results showed that low viscosity epoxy injection depth of injector using low pressure mixed with high pressure for upper direction were 23 cm and tension strength of crack face repaired by injector using low pressure mixed with high pressure was larger than that of concrete.

그라우팅에 적합한 점성을 갖는 변형률 경화 시멘트 복합재료 (Strain-Hardening Cementitious Composites with Low Viscosity Suitable for Grouting Application)

  • 이 연구에서는 타설 과정에서 낮은 점성이 요구되는 구조물에 적합한 낮은 점성을 가지면서 다중균열에 의한 변형률 경화거동을 보이는 고인성 섬유복합재료를 제조하기 위한 재료와 제조 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 섬유복합재료의 낮은 점성과 고인성을 얻기 위하여 미시역학과 파괴역학에 기반한 이론적 해석 방법과 제조 기법을 적용하였다. 2~3MPa 범위의 인장강도를 갖는 복합재료에 적합한 최적의 섬유 양과 길이, 그리고 섬유와 매트릭스의 계면 특성을 미시역학과 안정상태 균열 이론을 이용하여 해석적으로 구한 후 여섯 가지 배합을 결정하였다. 여섯 가지 배합으로 제조한 실험체는 실험을 통하여 점성과 일축인장 성능을 검증하였다. 실험 결과 굳기 전에는 그라우팅에 적합한 낮은 점성을 갖으면서 굳은 후에는 1.5% 이상의 고인성을 갖는 변형률 경화 섬유복합재료를 제조할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

PIC 방법으로 제조된 저점도 W/O 나노에멀젼의 안정성 (Stability of W/O Nanoemulsions with Low Viscosity Prepared by PIC Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 정제수/Span 80-Nikkol BL 25/오일계의 water-in-oil (W/O) 나노에멀젼을 높은 온도에서 PIC 유화로 제조하였다. 이 방법은 본 시스템에서 미세하게 분산된 저점도의 W/O 나노에멀젼의 형성을 가능케 하였다. 그러나 실온에서 PIC 방법으로 제조된 에멀젼은 나노에멀젼보다는 마크로에멀젼이 제조되었다. 유화온도가 $30^{\circ}C$에서 $80^{\circ}C$로 증가하면 온도에 따른 계면장력의 큰 변화의 결과로 입자 크기는 $2{\mu}m$에서 100 nm 정도로 감소하였다. $80^{\circ}C$에서 제조된 나노에멀젼의 입자 크기는 50 ~ 200 nm 범위에 있었고 내상의 분율은 15 wt%까지 가능하였다. 또한 혼합 유화제의 최적 HLB는 7.0 부근에서 가장 안정한 나노에멀젼이 형성되었다. 제조된 나노에멀젼은 1개월 이상 실온에서 안정하였다. 본 연구 결과는 저점도의 W/O 나노에멀젼의 형성 최적화에 중요한 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 이 결과는 W/O 나노에멀젼의 저점도로 인한 부드러운 사용감 등으로 화장품 제형으로 유용하게 이용될 것으로 생각된다.

  • This study was performed to elucidate the effect of degree of substitution and degree of polymerization of CMC on the rheological characteristics of coating color which is consisted of calcium carbonate as pigment. The results were as follows: 1. It appeared that DP of CMC rather DS has an effect on the low shear viscosity of coating color. 2. According as shear rate increased, the effect of DP and DS on high shear viscosity of coating color decreased. 3. According to increasing DS and DP, the water retention of coating color increased.

벽 충돌 제트로 생성되는 액막의 두께 분포 특성 연구 (A Study on the Thickness Characteristics of the Liquid Sheet Formed by an Impinging Jet Onto a Wall)

  • In this study, the thickness of the liquid sheet formed by a low speed impinging jet onto a wall was measured by the direct contact method. The spatial distribution characteristics of the sheet thickness in the radial and circumferential directions, and the effects of jet velocity and liquid viscosity were analyzed. The measurement results were compared with the theoretical predictions for two impinging jets. The wavy surface was observed for low viscosity water, but not for high viscosity glycerol solutions. The sheet thickness decreased as the circumferential angle or the distance from the impinging point increased. The sheet thickness increased as the liquid viscosity increased. Comparison with the theoretical predictions showed some differences from the measurement results.

회전형 레오미터와 진동형 점도계를 이용한 세라믹 슬러리의 점도 비교 (Comparison of the Viscosity of Ceramic Slurries using a Rotational Rheometer and a Vibrational Viscometer)

  • The viscosity of a ceramic slurry depends on the slurry concentration, particle shape and size, hydrodynamic interactions, temperature, shear rate, pre-treatment condition and the method of measurement with the selected equipment. Representative ceramic slurries with low to high viscosity levels are selected from colloidal silica, barium titanate slurry and glass frit paste. Rotational rheometers and vibrational viscometers are used to compare the measured viscosity for various ceramic slurries. The rotational rheometer measured the viscosity according to the change of the shear rate or the rotational speed. On the other hand, the vibrational viscometer measured one point of the viscosity in a fixed vibrational mode. The rotational rheometer allows the measurement of the viscosity of a ceramic paste with a viscosity higher than 100,000 cP, while the vibrational viscometer provides an easy and quick method to measure the viscosity without deformation of the ceramic slurry due to the measurement method. It is necessary to select suitable equipment with which to measure the viscosity depending on the purpose of the measurement.

아크릴레이트계 주입약액의 특성 및 적용 (Characteristics and Applications of Acrylate Injection Material)

  • In this study, acrylate salt material of new chemical composition for injection grouting was prepared in the state of aqueous solution, and the chemical and physical properties of the material were investigated. The gelation time of the material was freely controllable through the control of added catalysts amount. As the viscosity of the material was very low (2∼3cps), its injection efficiency was expected to be very excellent. The variation of its viscosity plotted with the process of gelation revealed that the efficiency of its penetration into the ground soil was very excellent. The LD$\sub$50/ test on white mouse verified the toxicity of the material was very slight and substantially negligible. The grouting effect using the material was examined through field case histories.

  • Inorder to investigated electrical conduction characteristics of silicone oils due to viscosity variation we studied the electrical conduction properties at temperature range of 10~110[$^{\circ}C$] and electrical field from 1 to 1.33$\times$10$^4$[V/cm] The viscosity of used specimens was low viscous(1, 2, 5[cSt]) silicone oils. It was shown the ohmic conduction characteristics in low temperature and low field by Ion dipole and humidity included specimen. And we known the conduction mechanism due to electron injection by Schottky's effect in the high temperature an d high field region.

  • In this study, the thickness of the liquid sheet formed by two low speed impinging jets was measured by the direct contact method. The effects of jet velocity and liquid viscosity on the thickness were analyzed and the results were compared with theoretical modeling and optical thickness measurement results. The liquid film thickness decreased as the radius and circumferential angle increased. The jet velocity did not affect the liquid film thickness as predicted in theoretical modeling. In the theoretical modeling, there was no influence of the fluid properties on thickness, but in the case of low viscosity liquids, the thickness was predicted high, and it was well matched in high viscosity liquids. The direct measurement results showed no significant difference from the optical measurement results, thus confirming the reliability of the optical measurement method.
