As the sales of the Sports Toto, the Korean lottery on sports games, have increased significantly in recent five years, interest in predicting the various results of sports matches has also been raised. Dixon and Coles (1997) proposed a bivariate Poisson model to predict the results of English soccer league matches. In this paper, we pay attention to the physical condition of players that may affect soccer match results and revise Dixon and Coles' model to consider probable fatigue due to the players' short rest followed by their frequent matches. We observed the fatigue effect in the match results, and found positive betting returns available when using our prediction model. Furthermore, the validity of probability-based odds in European and Korean betting markets is analyzed.

Engineering design can be viewed as a decision making process, which involves the nonlinear tradeoffs task among the multiple conflicting attributes and considers the robustness of design. In order to obtain best engineering design, methodology for accurate assessment of his/her preference about the multiple attributes is required. Conventionally, intuitive procedures based on lottery questions are used to elicit the designer's preference structure: however, they can lead to inconsistent and inexact preference results due to the rank reversal problems derived from the designer's big cognitive burden. In this paper, alternatively, a design methodology based on multiattribute utility function through the pairwise comparison among alternatives is presented. The proposed procedure is applied to an actual injection mold design with the aid of the CAE simulation and the result is discussed.

In recent dates, Internet advertising effects are expanded by the steep increment of the Internet users and the extension of the advertising market will be accelerated through Internet. This paper indicates the importance of Internet advertising and suggests the solution of a network advertising service. The system is divided into an Advertise Server, an Advertiser and a Web Publisher. This study proposes both the collection and the analysis of traffic data in real time. Also, the banner advertising frames are smoothed for the impression using the solution for the banner exchange engine and are developed using various impression methods, that is, Fixed/variable Banner, Scheduling Banner, Multi-Impression Banner, and Frame Remote Control to increase the advertising effect. And then to increase the advertising effect web publisher, which is specialized in lottery site, is constructed using the network advertising service and various advertising technology.

창업기업은 ICO나 크라우드펀딩 등을 통해 소액주주로부터 자금을 조달하여 캐즘(chasm)을 무사히 통과하게 되면 전문투자기관으로부터 시리즈 투자를 유치하게 된다. 이는 시리즈 단계에서는 창업기업의 불확실성을 줄여주는 전문투자기관이 필요한 반면, 사업의 불확실성이 더 높은 캐즘단계에서는 전문투자기관이 존재하지 않아도 소액투자자들의 모집이 가능하다는 역설이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 역설을 설명하기 위해 본 연구에서는 일반투자자들이 복권형투자(lottery-type investment)에 참여하고 있음을 가정하고, 이에 대한 이론적인 고찰을 시도하였다. 복권형투자는 수익률의 분포가 높은 양의 왜도를 가질 때 이론적으로 가능하다. 사실 경제현상에서 정규분포를 찾아보긴 어렵고 왜도가 높은 파레토분포가 더 일반적이다. 정규분포에 기초한 기존의 가격모델은 오히려 특수해라고 할 수 있다. 기대효용이론에 기초한 복권형투자 모형은 실증분석을 통해 파레토분포의 형상모수(𝛼) 값이 먼저 추정되어야 설계가 가능하다.

기존의 연구가 도박 참여자의 특성을 밝히는데 초점을 맞추는 것과는 달리, 본 연구는 다양한 종류의 도박을 그 주요 속성에 근거하여 유형화하고 각기 다른 도박유형이 참여행동과 도박문제에 미치는 영향을 비교분석하는 목적으로 이루어졌다. 이를 위해서 도박 참여자들의 각 도박종류의 속성(승률과 배당금)을 토대로 도박유형을 분류하고, 이 유형 분류에 따라서 도박행태와 도박으로 인한 부작용에 차이가 있는지 확인하였다. 우선 지각된 승률과 배당금 자료에 대한 요인분석을 통해 6개의 도박유형이 추출되었다: 오락형, 복권형, 온라인게 임형, 성인오락실형, 경주형, 카지노형. 분류된 각 도박유형을 주도박으로 이용하는 참여자들에 대해서 도박 참여행태를 분석한 결과, 주도박 유형에 따라서 도박인지, 도박 이용실태, 도박 중·후의 감정에 있어서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주도박 유형에 따라서 도박으로 인한 부작용도 차이가 있었다. 도박유형별 분석결과를 종합하면, 오락형과 복권형 도박과 같이 다수가 참여하는 도박에 비해서 성인오락실형, 경주형, 카지노형 등 소수가 이용하는 도박유형의 도박 참여행태가 더 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 온라인게임형의 경우에는 현실적인 부작용은 크지 않더라도 잠재적으로 도박으로 인한 부작용의 가능성이 높았다. 마지막으로 도박의 유형화에 대한 학문적 타당성과 그 유형에 근거한 실용적 제안점을 논의하였다.

This study introduced income mobility analysis using pseudo-longitudinal panel data from Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) to consider the dynamic process of individual's well-being through time. Since there is no comprehensive measurement of income mobility because of its dynamic process, various income mobility indices such as Chi-square, Average Jump Index, Atkinson et al. Mobility Ratio, and Shorrocks' Mobility Index were used. These indices revealed that Filipino households' income movements are more mobile than expected, and their income status improved from 2000 to 2015. As income mobility takes place, income inequality is reduced by 91.80 percent (91.80%). Furthermore, the growth effect is the main factor of income mobility. This indicates that households took the economic opportunities from economic growth to earn more. However, income mobility due to transfer effect (transfer of income from one household to another through lottery winning and borrowing) increased when the economy is not good. The higher income mobility due to growth effect compared to transfer effect, whether the economy is good or bad, means that households learned how to use their income in savings, investments, and entrepreneurship. This is the result of a successful financial literacy program of the government wherein households realized financial stability and security.

입찰프로그램은 민/관으로부터 고지되는 입찰 정보의 수집과 누적된 입찰결과의 통계적 분석방법을 사용하고 있지만 복수예가 추첨을 통한 낙찰방식으로 정확한 낙찰가를 예측하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 논문은 MLP, RNN 등의 방법을 이용하여 전자입찰 사이트인 전기넷에서 취득한 2015년 1월부터 2019년 8월까지 전기공사 낙찰현황 데이터의 정확도 등을 분석하고, 이를 통해 낙찰 하한가에 가장 근접하고 1순위 금액 사이의 금액을 예측하여 낙찰에 필요한 입찰금액을 예측하기 위한 기법을 제안한다.

송풍기를 이용한 제품으로는 핸드드라이기, 자동세차기, 건조기, 청소기등이 있다. 이러한 전동기의 특징은 순간에 강한 바람이 나오도록 구조, 제어 알고리즘이 필요하다. 종래의 여자방식에 따른 전동기는 직권식, 분권식, 복권식, 영구자석식이 있다. 이러한 전동기는 고속 회전 시 기동전류가 크고 회전수가 불규칙한 단점이 있다. 이를 개선하고자 고속BLDC 전동기 제어에 관한 연구로 구동회로 설계, 센서리스 제어 알고리즘, 시뮬레이션, 실험 등을 통해 800W급 고속BLDC 모터 제어와 회로 설계하였고, 95% 이상 고효율을 제어기의 운전성능 평가 방법, 시제품 실험 및 검증을 연구하였다.

블록체인 2.0은 프로그래밍 가능한 스마트계약을 사용하여 다양한 DApp(Distributed Application) 개발을 지원한다. 하지만 스마트계약이 동작하는 환경은 블록 높이, 블록 해쉬, 트랜잭션 해쉬 등 결정된 데이터만 접근할 수 있어서 블록체인 기반 복권, 배팅, 키 생성 등 난수를 필요로 하는 응용은 블록체인 외부에서 데이터를 가져 올 수 있는 오라클 서비스를 이용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 난수 생성 오라클 서비스를 개발하였다. 또한 난수 생성을 위해 비정형 빅데이터를 entropy source로 사용하였다. 이렇게 생성된 난수를 NIST SP800-22 난수 테스트하여 난수로 사용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 물리적 세계를 entropy source로 사용하는 기존의 진성난수 생성기에 비해서 비용측면에서 유리함을 설명한다.

Use of security papers for monetary papers, gift certificates, and lottery tickets increases every year. As the use of security papers increase, there are more possibility of counterfeits. In this study, we used unique fibers from the sea to increase the difficulties against counterfeiting. The red algae fibers give opacity as much as calcium carbonates, and have unique shape in length ($500{\sim}900\;{\mu}m$) and width ($1{\sim}4\;{\mu}m$) to be discerned from other natural fibers such as wood and cotton fibers. We mixed red algae fibers to wood fibers in a series of fixed ratios to make single and multiply papers for making security papers. Paper with dyed red algae fibers were also used. Paper made without fillers gave enough opacity for printing when red algae fibers were used more than 20% of the fiber furnish. Those properties may allow red algae fibers to be a potential candidate for fiber raw materials of security paper.
