  • In this paper, we describe a parking space identification system that can automatically identify empty parking lot spaces from a parking lot photo. This system is based on a deep learning technique, and the accuracy of the identification result is good by learning various existing parking lot images. It could be applied to the existing parking management system. This system was also developed as a smartphone application for easy testing. Therefore, if you take a picture of a parking lot through a smartphone camera, the captured image is automatically recognized and an empty parking space can be automatically identified.

  • The number of vehicle has been increased due to growth of economy. Consequently, the needs for parking area has been increasing. there is a serious problem in aged-apartments. It result from observing a parking lot law at that times. That is the reason why residents demand parking lot expansion. Parking lot addition is being studied on a lots different standpoint to solve the present parking lot condition. Parking lot expansion is limited by housing complex characteristics. This study analyzed the housing complex characteristics of aged-apartment. It is analyzed that the number of house holders, distance between buildings, and level of site for finding housing complex characteristics. The result are as follows. the complex lower than 300 households is about 35% in the Number of households. The buildings which has a moving distance from 41m to 50 is nearly 23%. Them the 멕스둣 house located on the flat is 82%. This study will become a reference data for the parking lot expansion.

  • As an effective means of price discrimination, some suppliers offer trade credit to the distributors in order to stimulate the demand for the product they produce. The availability of the delay in payments from the supplier enables discount of the distributor's selling price from a wider range of the price option in anticipation of increased customer's demand. Since the distributor's lot-size is affected by the demand for the customer, the distributor's lot-size and the selling price determination problem is interdependent and must be solved at the same time. Also, in many common business transactions, the distributor pays the shipping cost for the order and hence, the distributor's ordering cost consists of a fixed ordering cost and the shipping cost that depend on the order quantity. In this regard, we deal with the joint lot-size and price determination problem when the supplier allows delay in payments for an order of a product. The positive effects of credit transactions can be integrated into the EOQ (economic order quantity) model through the consideration of retailing situations, where the customer's demand is a function of the distributor's selling price. It is also assumed that the distributor's order cost consists of a fixed ordering cost and the variable shipping cost. We formulate the distributor's mathematical model from which the solution algorithm is derived based on properties of an optimal solution. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the algorithm developed.

  • In this paper, we analyze the buyer's joint pricing and lot-sizing model in a two-stage supply chain consisting of the supplier, the buyer and the customer. It is assumed that the supplier will permit a certain fixed period for settling the amount the buyer owes to him for the items supplied in order to stimulate the demand for the product. Generally, credit transactions would have a positive effect to the buyer. The availability of credit transactions from the supplier effectively reduces the cost of holding stocks for the buyer and therefore, the buyer has a lot of price options to choose his sales price for a customer in anticipation of increased the customer's demand and, as a result, it will appear to increase the buyer's inventory levels. On the other hand, in the case of decaying products in which their utility decay over time, the decaying rate with time may be expected to reduce inventory levels. In this regard, we need to analyze how much the length of credit period and the decaying rate affect the buyer's pricing and lot-sizing policy. For the analysis, we consider the situation where the customer's demand is represented as a linearly decreasing function of the buyer's sales price. From this perspective, we formulate the buyer's annual net profit and analyze the effect of the length of credit period and decaying rate of the product on the buyer's inventory policy numerically.

  • Architectural drawings are the records containing a lot of information about constructions and an architectural drawing has a lot of technical, physical and significant uniqueness. The most important thing required to preserve and utilize architectural drawings is description. However, there is still no standard for the description of architectural drawings in Korea. Therefore this study proposes description elements for architectural drawings based upon examining a generic character of architectural drawings and analyzing several standards and guidelines that can be used as the description rule application model for architectural drawings.

  • Global automobile manufacturers have made a lot of efforts to comply European Union (EU) end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) Directive. Hyundai and Kia have also made a lot of studies to eco-friendly treat our ELVs. Some results of studies have already reflected on our models to produce eco-friendly vehicles. This paper introduces our status of the recycle technology and our measures to respond to EU ELVs Directive.

  • Climate change is getting worse in the 21st century. So, water shortages are expanding worldwide. Carbon dioxide generated from the use of fossil fuels is 80% of the total green house gas. Because it occupies, it has become a factor of global warming. Therefore, the importance of water treatment membrane, gas separation membrane, and secondary battery separation membrane is increasing, but it occupies technology in developed countries such as the United States, Japan, and Germany. Therefore, the advancement of membrane technology is urgently required. So, although the country supports a lot of research budgets, We will analyze the results using NTIS data. As a result of the analysis used, it is supported mainly for short-term tasks, and the research budget is small compared to other technical fields, so the basic material field technology is weak. Therefore, when we invest a lot of long-term tasks, with a lot of budget, and universities, membrane technology has been improved and competitiveness has been strengthened.
