By appliying an slternate pulsed magnetic field -generated by using a sequential ignition circuit and a magnet exciting circuit- with peak value of about 10 T to the rod type Nd based magnet Nd2Fe12.7Cr1.3B with length of 5 mm and diameter of 3.6 mm, the basic magnetic properties such as saturation magnetization, residual magnetization, coercivity, maximum energy products, magnetic anisotropy and anisotropic field are investigated with obtaining the major and minor J-H loops of the magnet. The increase in coercivity due to eddy currents in ac measurement of coercivity is calculated considering eddy current loss by analyzing a wave of generating magnetic field. The average coercivity calculated for the magnet is about 12.2 kOe, anisotropy magnetic field and anisotropic constant are measured as 60 kOe 2.43 Mj/$m^3$, respectively.

During the operation of crane system in container yard, it is necessary to control the crane trolley position and loop length so that the swing of the hanging container is minimized. Recently an automatic control system with high speed and rapid transportation is required. Therefore, we designed a controller to control the Stack crane system.

This paper presents a compact and portable high-voltage generator based on magnetic-core Tesla transformer for driving an UWB high power electromagnetic source. In order to optimize the performance of the high-voltage generator, a novel open-loop cylindrical magnetic-core adopting the quad-division lamination structure is proposed and manufactured. The designed high-voltage generator using the proposed magnetic core has a battery-powered operation and compact size of $280mm{\times}150mm$ in length and diameter, respectively. The high-voltage generator can produce a voltage pulse waveform with peak amplitude of 450 kV, a rise time of 1.5 ns, and pulse duration of 2.5 ns at the 800 V input voltage.

According to the GPS modernization, L5 is the third civilian GPS signal, broadcasts in a radio band reserved exclusively for aviation safety services. However, as the code length of GPS L5 is ten times longer than that of GPS L1, the acquisition processing time in GPS L5 takes longer than that of L1. This characteristics make the code phase detected initially change and cause the tracking loop to unlock. In order to overcome this problem, this paper proposes L5 acquisition schemes for the rapid code phase re-search and the fine doppler determination. The feasibility of the proposed scheme is demonstrated through the simulation results.

Linear sausage oscillations of a cylinder embedded in a plasma with an azimuthal magnetic field, created by a current on the surface of the cylinder, are studied. Such a plasma configuration could be applied to modelling demonstrate that the lowest radial harmonic of the sausage mode is in the trapped regime for all values of the parallel wave number. In the long-wavelength limit, phase and group speeds of this mode are equal to the Alfven speed in the external medium. It makes the oscillation period to be determined by the ratio of the parallel wavelength, e.g., double the length of an oscillating loop, to the external Alfven speed, allowing for its seismological estimations. The application of the results obtained to the interpretation of long-period (longer than 20-30 s) oscillations of emission intensity detected in solar coronal structure, gives reasonable estimations of the external Alfven speed. Cutoff values of the parallel wavenumber for higher radial harmonics are determined analytically. Implications of this finding to the observational signatures of fast magnetoacoustic wave trains guided by the plasma non-uniformity are discussed.

회로도면 자동생성 분야는 지난 수십 년간 HDL기반 설계과정에서 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 회로 도면은 더욱 복잡해져서 레지스터 및 시스템 레벨에서 자동 생성된 회로도면을 보고 신호의 흐름을 파악하기 어렵다. 이와 같이 복잡해진 회로도면의 가독성을 향상시키기 위해 본 논문에서는 4가지 기법, 즉 i ) 심볼이나 터미널들과 같이 반복되는 회로 패턴을 벡터 형태로 치환, ii) 피드백 루프 절단 알고리즘 개선, iii) 번들 네트 생성시 발생하는 다단 연결을 간결 화할 수 있는 압축 탭, iv) 연결도에 따라 블록열을 구분하고 정렬하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 회로도면 생성 기법의 효용성을 확인하기 위해 도면 자동생성 프로그램을 개발하고, 계층적으로 설계된 미디어 프로세서의 다양한 모듈의 도면을 생성시켰다. 실험한 결과 도면 면적을 비롯하여 배선 수, 길이 등을 $90\%$까지 감소시키고 가독성을 높이는 효과를 보였으며 블록의 분산 및 빈 공간 발생을 억제하는 효과를 보였다.

본 연구는 산업폐기물인 D사의 K 섬유를 사용하여 아스팔트 콘크리트 혼합물의 피로파괴에 대한 저항성 향상의 증진가능성을 평가하고자 수행되었다. 본 연구에서는 MTS사의 CLSS (Closed-Loop Servohydraulic System)와 미국 표준시험법인 ASTM D 4123에 따라 MTS사가 개발한 시험장치를 사용하여 피로시험을 수행하였다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면 적정 섬유첨가량은 전체 혼합물 중량기준 약 0.2%의 길이 8mm 섬유가 가장 우수한 성능을 발휘함을 보였고, 이 때의 적정 아스팔트 함량은 전체 혼합물 중량기준 5.5%로 나타났다. 폐섬유를 재활용하여 생산된 섬유보강 아스팔트 혼합물이 기존의 밀입도 20 아스팔트 혼합물보다 피로파괴에 대한 저항성면에서 월등히 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 섬유보강 아스팔트 혼합물의 회복 탄성계수값은 일반 밀입도20 아스팔트 혼합물보다 약 $1.15{\sim}1.18$배 높게 평가되었다.

최근에 이르기까지 교통분야에서 차량에 관한 정보를 수집하기 위하여 사용되고 있는 검지쳬계는 유도식 루프검지기 (Inductive Loop Detector,ILD)이다. 유도식 검지기로 부터 수집되는 교통자료는 점유시간(차량이 검지기를 점유한시간)과 비점유시간(통행 차량과 차량간의 시간차)및 교통량이 기초 수집자료가 된다. 특히 점유 시간은 신호의 현시 길이를 결정 및 과포화제어를 위한 대기행렬예측 등 다양한 관제알고리즘에 있어서 핵심적인 자료이므로 높은 신뢰도가 요구된다. 이러한 신뢰도는 검지로 부터 수집될 수 있는 자료들을 토대로 통행 차종을 식별함으로써 향상시킬 수 있으며, 관련 관제 알고리즘의 신뢰도 향상은 물론 최근 관심이 고조되고 있는 무인자동감시 체계 및 교통정보 자동 수집장치의 개발을 유도할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 통행하는 차량들에 대하여 수집 되는 기초자료를 기반으로 인식하기 위한 방법으로 통계적 클러스터링 방법 두 가지와 신경망 클러스터링 방법 등 세가지 방법을 제시하고, 결과로서 무인 자동감시 체계에 관한 활용 방법을 제시한다.

ALINEA는 램프의 하류부에 설치된 검지기를 이용하여 최적의 차량점유율 상태를 유지하도록 유입램프의 교통량을 조절하는 방안으로 검지기를 이용한 차량의 점유율을 제어 변수로 이용하고 있다. 하지만, 현재 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 루프제어기 점유율의 정확도가 비교적 낮다는 점과 점유율은 검지기 길이의 함수로서 ALINEA의 적용 시 설치 지점마다, 그리고 검지기 길이마다 최적 점유율 보정과정이 필요한 점을 감안할 때 현재 사용 중인 ALINEA를 보완할 필요가 있다. 관리자와 이용자 측면에서 점유율이 사실상 인지하기 어려운 변수임을 감안할 때 쉽고 간편한 변수의 사용을 통한 모형개발이 의미를 가질 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 ALINEA 알고리즘의 기본 개념을 이용하되 제어변수인 점유율을 이용할 때의 불편한 점 및 단점을 일부 개선시킬 수 있는 속도 변수를 이용하여 ALINEA 모델을 보완하고자 한다.

S. chungbukensis DJ77로부터 16S rRNA유전자의 염기서열을 분식하였다. 염기서열은 총 1,502 bp로 2000 년에 등록된 부분 서열(1,435 bp)보다 5' 방향과 3' 방향으로 29 bp와 37 bp 길이만큼 각각 확장하였으며, 1 bp가 추가로 삽입되었다. E. coli의 16S rRNA유전자를 모델로 이차구조를 제작하였으며, 네 부위가 특이적임을 발견하였다. Sphnigomonas spp.의 16S rRNA 서열과 S. chungbukensis DJ77의 다중서열검색 결과, Sphingomonas종에서만 나타나는 보존부위와 가변부위를 발견할 수 있었다. 특히, Campylobacter jejuni에서만 나타나는 것으로 알려진 긴 stem loop구조가 서열은 조금 다르지만 구조적 일치를 보이는 유사한 구조를 S. chungbukensis DJ77에서도 발견하였다. 결과적으로, 다중서열검색을 통해 제작한 계통수와 nucleotide signatures분석에 근거하여 S. chugukensis DJ77을 cluster II (Sphingobium)로 분류하였다.
