온라인 매칭 및 물류시스템이 역직구 활성화에 미치는 영향-국가신뢰의 매개 효과 (The Effect of An Online Matching and Logistics System on Reverse Overseas Direct Purchase: The Mediating Effect of Reliability)

  • Recently, traditional trade in the global trade market has stagnated in the aftermath of the US-China trade war and the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, the global e-commerce market is growing rapidly, presenting a new opportunity for exports. To examine the effect of an online matching and logistics system on reverse overseas direct purchase and the mediating effect of reliability, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on 320 employees in a Korean trade company from March 10 to April 30, 2018. The study model's goodness of fit was tested, and an analysis was performed using the AMOS statistical package. The online matching and logistics system were found to have a positive effect on reverse overseas direct purchase. Furthermore, results revealed that while a country's reliability mediated online matching and reverse overseas direct purchase, it did not mediate the logistics system. These results mean that online matching is affected by a country's reliability in overseas consumers' buying decision process. This study provides implications for the future directions of export companies and national policies to promote reverse overseas direct purchase. Future research including more countries and companies would be able to make further contributions toward the development of the Korean cross-border e-commerce industry.

An Empirical Investigation of Factors Influencing Innovation and Organizational Performance among Logistics and Supply Chain Organizations in Thailand

  • Purpose: As Thailand endeavors to solidify its position in the global supply chain, unraveling the determinants of innovation and performance becomes imperative for sustained competitiveness. This research delves into the multifaceted landscape of logistics and supply chain organizations in Thailand, aiming to identify and understand the key factors that significantly influence innovation and organizational performance in this dynamic sector. Research design, data, and methodology: A questionnaire is developed to survey to 400 employees who have at least one-year experience in selected ten logistics and supply chain organizations in Thailand. The sampling techniques involved judgmental, convenience and snowball sampling. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were employed to assess and validate the model's adequacy and to conduct hypothesis testing. Results: The findings reveal that ICT use significantly influenced entrepreneurial orientation and innovation but has no significant influence on organizational performance. Additionally, innovation was significantly influenced by collective entrepreneurship but not by entrepreneurial orientation. Finally, innovation significantly influenced organizational performance. Conclusions: The study concludes with actionable insights for logistics and supply chain organizations in Thailand. This research serves as a valuable resource for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers seeking to advance the understanding of organizational dynamics in this critical industry.

  • 본 연구는 물류 기업이 블록체인기술을 채택하는 데 어떠한 요인들이 영향을 미치는가를 파악하고 블록체인기술이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 연구목적으로 하고 있다. 블록체인기술의 채택에 영향을 미치는 변수들은 TOE 프레임을 바탕으로 제시하였다. 블록체인기술 채택 요인으로 기대이익, 조직준비성, 기술호환성, 경쟁압력을 제시하였다. 그리고 블록체인기술로는 스마트 계약과 정보 투명성을 제시하였다. 물류성과는 신속성과 조정성을 제시하였다. 한국의 물류 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과를 보면 기대이익, 기술호환성은 블록체인기술(스마트 계약, 정보 투명성)에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 조직준비성은 정보투명성에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 블록체인기술은 물류성과에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Performance Analysis of Transport Time and Legal Stability through Smart OTP Access System for SMEs in Connected Industrial Parks

  • According to data from the National Police Agency, 75.5 percent of dead traffic accidents in Korea are truck accidents. About 1,000 people die in cargo truck accidents in Korea every year, and two to three people die in cargo truck accidents every day. In the survey, Korean cargo workers answer poor working conditions as an important cause of constant truck accidents. COVID 19 is increasing demand for non-face-to-face logistics. The inefficiency of the Korean transportation system is leading to excessive work burden for small logistics The inefficiency of the Korean transportation system is causing excessive work burden for small individual carriers. The inefficiency of the Korean transportation system is also evidenced by the number of deaths from logistics industry disasters that have risen sharply since 2020. Small and medium-sized Korean Enterprises located in CIPs (Connected Industrial Parks) often do not have smart access certification systems. And as a result, a lot of transportation time is wasted at the final destination stage. In the logistics industry, time is the cost and time is the revenue. The logistics industry is the representative industry in which time becomes money. The smart access authentication system architecture proposed in this paper allows small logistics private carriers to improve legal stability, and SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) in CIPs to reduce logistics transit time. The CIPs smart access system proposed in this paper utilizes the currently active Mobile OTP (One Time Password), which can significantly reduce system design costs, significantly reduce the data capacity burden on individual cell phone terminals, and improve the response speed of individual cell phone terminals. It is also compatible with the OTP system, which was previously used in various ways, and the system reliability through the long period of use of the OTP system is also high. User customers can understand OTP access systems more easily than other smart access systems.

Logistics Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and Loyalty During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Vietnam

  • The goal of the study is to examine and assess how the factors of logistics service quality provided by logistics service providers influence customer loyalty and satisfaction in Vietnam. This study employs samples of the Kansei technique. The article's data was gathered through an online survey of 388 distinct Vietnamese customers who used logistics services before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. After the data was obtained, it was evaluated using SmartPLS 3.0's Cronbach's Alpha test and structural equation model (SEM). Staff service quality, operational service quality, and technical service quality are the three factors that determine the quality of logistics services in the study. Out of the 10 proposed hypotheses, research findings show that five are acceptable. The Covid-19 Pandemic in Vietnam had a significant impact on all dimensions, but it had no effect on how satisfied customers were with the logistics service providers. Nevertheless, loyalty is considerably influenced by only one factor, which is customer satisfaction, and customer trust moderates the relationship between these two factors. As a consequence of that, several managerial implications have been proposed to help logistics service providers improve their services to attract and keep Vietnamese customers using their service in the long term.

Survey of Evolutionary Algorithms in Advanced Planning and Scheduling

  • Advanced planning and scheduling (APS) refers to a manufacturing management process by which raw materials and production capacity are optimally allocated to meet demand. APS is especially well-suited to environments where simpler planning methods cannot adequately address complex trade-offs between competing priorities. However, most scheduling problems of APS in the real world face both inevitable constraints such as due date, capability, transportation cost, set up cost and available resources. In this survey paper, we address three crucial issues in APS, including basic scheduling model, job-shop scheduling (JSP), assembly line balancing (ALB) model, and integrated scheduling models for manufacturing and logistics. Several evolutionary algorithms which adapt to the problems are surveyed and proposed; some test instances based on the practical problems demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of evolutionary approaches.

자원순환형 경제사회기반 구축을 위한 기업의 환경 친화적 물류시스템 실태 (A Study on the Environment Conscious Logistic System for Economy Base Construction Under Resources Circulation)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the actual condition of environment conscious logistic system which is essential to make material recycling economic society. Environment conscious logistic management which meant simply recycle is tend to promote material reduction, reuse and recycling. We have made case studies about advanced environment friendly logistic system. To examine Korean companies' environment conscious logistic system, we made survey form which is consist of 82 questionnaires and 154 companies have participated for this. And we have analyzed the survey responses. As a result of this study, we propose the way of constructing environment conscious logistic system in Korea.

Kano모델 기반의 물류 서비스 품질속성 분류와 잠재적 고객요구 개선지수 개발 (Development of Kano model based logistics service quality classification and potential customer Satisfaction Improvement index)

  • Recently, service quality must reflect several demands of customers who show rapid and various changes so as to be compared with the past. So, objective and rapid methods for them are necessary more. For them, first of all, service company must calculate their standard of service quality accurately by measuring service quality exactly. To measure service quality accurately, this researcher collected and analyzed data by survey for customers who are customers of logistics services, grasped potential satisfaction standard(P) by 5 point Likert scale and one survey for accurate classification of quality attributes through weighted customer satisfaction coefficient changing quality attributes by developing the study on Kano model and Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient, and suggested Potential Customer Satisfaction Improvement index(PCSI) for examining the improvement of customer satisfaction so as to utilize them as an index of differentiated and concrete measurement of service quality.

중국진출 한국기업 물류관리자의 자격요건에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Assessment of Competency Requirements for Logistics Managers in China)

  • 본 연구는 물류관리자들이 갖추어야할 기술 및 자격요건이 무엇인지 파악하기 위해 중국에 진출해 있는 국내기업의 물류관리자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사에 사용할 총 43개의 항목을 문헌연구 및 전문가집단과의 토의를 거쳐 추출하였고, 요인분석을 통해 이 항목들을 특성별로 4개의 그룹으로 분류하여 연구에 사용하였다. 조사 결과, 공급체인에 관한 인식정도, 의사결정능력, 분석능력, 의사소통스킬, 공급체인의 비용에 관한 지식, 대인관계기술, 정보흐름의 통합능력 등을 포함하는 물류계획그룹의 항목들이 가장 중요한 물류관리자의 자격요건인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 반면, 회수물류의 기술이나 환경관련 법규의 파악정도 등이 포함된 환경인식그룹의 항목들은 그 중요도가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 전체적으로는 요인분석 결과 선택된 총 23개 항목 중 물류관리자들의 업무에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀진 것은 14개로 전체의 61% 정도였다. 본 연구의 결과는 물류업계로 진출하기 희망하는 미래의 물류인, 물류를 전공하고 있는 학생들, 이들을 지도하는 학자들 그리고 중국시장 진출을 계획하는 기업들에게 흥미로운 정보를 제공할 것으로 생각한다. 기업의 입장에서는 상위에 랭크된 요건들을 갖추고 있는 관리자들을 중국으로 파견할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 기업 내 교육훈련프로그램의 가이드라인으로 활용할 수도 있을 것이다. 또한, 현재 혹은 잠재적 물류관리자들이 자신들의 경쟁력을 향상시키기 위해 어떤 부분에 노력을 경주해야 하는지 판단하는 데에도 도움이 될 것으로 생각한다.

한국 기업의 물류아웃소싱 활용요인에 관한 연구 (An Approach to the Logistics Outsourcing Factors of the Korean Companies)

  • 본 연구는 한국 기업의 계약 기간에 따른 물류아웃소싱의 패턴을 분석하여 물류기업의 경쟁력 향상에 기여하는데 목적이 있으며, 문헌연구와 실증분석을 병행하여 실시하였다. 설문조사는 2008년 4월부터 5월까지 2개월 간 진행하였다. 총 400개의 물류기업을 대상으로 설문을 배포한 결과 165부의 설문지를 회수하였으며 분석에 적합한 설문 155부를 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 요인분석과 요인별 중요도 분석결과 본 연구의 시사점은 크게 세 가지로 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 한국기업은 물류아웃소싱 동기로서 기업의 전략과 관련된 요인을 중요시한다. 아웃소싱에 대한 결정은 최고경영자에 의해서 이루어지며, 기업은 해외진출 및 해외진출시 제품경쟁전략에 따라 물류아웃소싱을 검토하게 되고 최고경영자의 해외 진출 및 국제화에 대한 의지 정도, 해외에서 판매되는 자사 제품의 판매 전략에 따라 물류아웃소싱의 활용에 크게 영향을 준다. 둘째, 한국기업은 고객요구에 대한 대응정도, 경쟁의 정도에 따라 물류아웃소싱을 고려하며 기업의 특성, 물류비용, 제품의 물리적 특성 등을 감안하여 물류아웃소싱을 결정하게 된다. 셋째, 계약기간에 따른 물류아웃소싱에 대한 차이를 분석한 결과 시장진출요인은 계약기간에 따른 시사점이 도출되지 않았으나 기업전략, 기업특성, 환경 측면에서는 장기간의 계약관계가 중요하게 인식되었다. 상술한 연구결과를 토대로 아웃소싱의 동기, 결정요인과 계약기간을 고려하여 당사자의 입장 차이를 줄이기 위해 정확한 계약조건제시와 주기적인 의사소통을 토대로 물류아웃소싱의 효과를 높여야 할 것이다.
