After a disaster happens in urban areas, many people need support for a quick evacuation. This work aims to develop a method for the calculation of the most feasible evacuation route inside buildings. In the methodology we simplify the geometry of the structural and non structural elements from the BIM (Building Information Modeling) to store them in a spatial database which follows standards to support vector data. Then, we apply the multicriteria analysis with the allocation of prioritization values and weight factors validated through the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), in order to obtain the Importance Index S(n) of the elements. The criteria consider security conditions and distribution of the building's facilities. The S(n) is included as additional heuristic data for the calculation of the evacuation route through an algorithm developed as a variant of the $A^*$ pathfinding, The experimental results in the simulation of evacuation scenarios for vulnerable people in healthy physical conditions and for the elderly group, shown that the conditions about the wide of routes, restricted areas, vulnerable elements, floor roughness and location of facilities in the building applied in the multicriteria analysis has a high influence on the processing of the developed variant of $A^*$ algorithm. The criteria modify the evacuation route, because they considers as the most feasible route, the safest instead of the shortest, for the simulation of evacuation scenarios for people in healthy physical conditions. Likewise, they consider the route with the location of facilities for the movement of the elderly like the most feasible in the simulation of evacuation route for the transit of the elderly group. These results are important for the assessment of the decision makers to select between the shortest or safest route like the feasible for search and rescue activities.

내화 구조물에서는 환기 계수, 재료 탄성 계수, 항복 강도, 열팽창 계수, 외력 및 화재 위치에서 불확실성이 관찰된다. 환기 불확실성은 화재 온도에 영향을 미치고, 이는 다시 구조물 온도에 영향을 미친다. 이러한 온도는 재료 특성과 함께 불확실한 구조적 응답으로 이어지고 있다. 화재 시 구조적 비선형 거동으로 인해 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 사용하여 화재 취약성을 계산하는데, 이는 시간이 많이 소요된다. 따라서 머신러닝 알고리즘을 활용해 화재 취약성 분석을 예측함으로써 효율성을 높이고 정확성을 확보하려는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 화재 크기, 위치, 구조 재료 특성의 불확실성을 고려하여 철골 모멘트 골조 건물의 화재 취약성을 예측했다. 화재 시 비선형 구조 거동 결과를 기반으로 한 취약성 곡선은 로그 정규 분포를 따른다. 마지막으로 제안한 방법이 화재 취약성을 정확하고 효율적으로 예측할 수 있음을 보여주었다.

Korean traditionally prefer a house with a southern exposure to other styles. Moreover, pretty part of dwelling style in Korea is apartment building. But generally, there are much more north oriented rooms than opposite one in apartment. Generally, most Korean tends to consider the direction of the room as an important factor to decide the arrangement of their furniture. Also, the location of window, door, bed, and closet can affect on the decision-making process of furniture layout. So, the closet position should be determined by not only window direction and door position, but also the furniture arrangement preference of residents. After considering the window and door position, there are 16 alternatives in a room. (Multiplied 4 window directions by 4 door positions under the assumption that the window and the door cannot be on the same side of the wall.) Also, this study analyzed each room style ratio considering the symmetry of each plan by comparing the apartment building plan. This paper studied the bedroom style by analyzing the 180 apartment building plans and survey of furniture layout; the furniture in this study represents bed and desk those are mainly laid in Korean bedroom. Finally, this paper suggested the methodology to find optimal alternatives of furniture and closet layout for high-rise apartment residents, based on the door and window position, and the furniture layout preference of residents.

Environmental and public health concern for the emission of air pollutants from burn-up process in waste incineration plants located in the vicinity of living environment was increased during the past decade. The purpose of this study was to suggest of the simple and rapid method of priority setting model for the decision of full-scale public health assessment. This method was consists of total 5-step. Step 1 was "secure the satellite map" and we can use the satellite map which serves from the website such as NAVER Co. Step 2 was "drawing mesh on the map" for catch the point of occupation of environmental sensitivity facilities, and step 3 was "identification and sorting of the facilities", Step 4 was "setting of weight" using the "weighted linear combination (WLC) method". Finally, all facility was sorted by score. As a result, we can set a priority of 145 facilities based on 177 facilities which managed in local government. Facilities in Seoul metropolitan area was high rank in priority list. On the other side, Facilities located at the country or rural area was low rank because of low occupation of the house and the environmental sensitivity facilities such as kindergarten, elementary school, and hospital. In this study, we suggested simple and rapid method that using for screening procedure of public health assessment.

In the phase of an architectural designing, the Pinakothek der Modeme in Munich is considered that it is influenced by the Altes Museum in Berlin. The critical elements were composed of the classification of Tominaka and my points of view. Two buildings were analyzed for comparison by six elements, such as, a spatial construction, an organization of plan, an organization of section, a composition of elevation, a method of construction and a composition of mass. The results of the analysis were that the design of the Pinakothek der modeme was influenced by the Altes Museum as follows: 1)the use of square and circle in the composition of plan, 2)the use of a curtain of columns and a formation of the transitional space between columns and front wall, 3)the location and function of the main stairs and the inner court, 4)the arrangement of exhibition halls, 5)the covering of dome, 6)the unification of spaces of different floors through the rotunda. This study may be helpful for any architects who make a decision of the method and the range of reference to some other building in the beginning of design.

The landslide disaster damage has been increased by mountain development, leading to construction of educational facilities, medical facilities, petty industrial facilities, and large housing complexes. Therefore, effective regulation is required as an effort in urban planning solutions. For suggesting specific mitigation strategies on urban landslide, this study aims to define evaluation criteria for urban planning management of debris-flow disaster. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), one of the multiple criterion decision making methods, was utilized in this study. This study makes use of 16 sub-criteria under the framework of hazard, exposure, and vulnerability, and well-planned expert survey measures their weights. The weights are also applied to evaluate each grid in urban space (min $10{\times}10m$) and classify it with red, orange, yellow, or green grade so that areas at higher risk are clearly identified. This study concludes that the suggested method is useful to support a strategies for urban planning management of debris-flow disaster, particularly in a GIS base.

도시녹지공간의 수목은 체계적이고, 신속한 관리를 함으로써 인간에게 더 많은 혜택을 부여한다. 현재 도시 녹지공간에 있어서의 수목관리의 방법론적인 방안을 고려해 볼 때 수목관리의 유지관리를 위한 자료의 수집과 처리, 첨단 System을 활용한 관리체계가 극히 미흡한 실정이다. 이를 위해서는 먼저 녹지자원 관리를 위한 효율적이고 체계적인 자료의 수집 및 처리와 합리적인 분석과정이 필요하며 그 다음으로 이러한 자료를 토대로 하여 적절한 도시녹지공간에 있어서의 수목관리를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 시스템과 그 활용이 필요하다. 이러한 시스템으로 본 연구에서는 최근 여러 분야에서 이용되고 있는 GIS을 이용하여 도시녹지관리모델을 제시하고 이를 통하여 그 효율성을 극대화하였다.

This paper introduces a new concept of automation for bio-production with tele-operative system. The proposed system showed practical and feasible way of automation for the volatile bio-production process. Based on the proposition, recognition of the job environment with object identification was performed using computer vision system. A man-machine interactive hybrid decision-making, which utilized a concept of tele-operation was proposed to overcome limitations of the capability of computer in image processing and feature extraction from the complex environment image. Identifying watermelons from the outdoor scene of the cultivation field was selected to realize the proposed concept. Identifying watermelon from the camera image of the outdoor cultivation field is very difficult because of the ambiguity among stems, leaves, shades, and especially fruits covered partly by leaves or stems. The analog signal of the outdoor image was captured and transmitted wireless to the host computer by R.F module. The localized window was formed from the outdoor image by pointing to the touch screen. And then a sequence of algorithms to identify the location and size of the watermelon was performed with the local window image. The effect of the light reflectance of fruits, stems, ground, and leaves were also investigated.

This paper analyses the railroad trunk line constructed in the Korea since the end of the 19th century. The analysis consists of the following problematics. 1) The process of the decision of the railroad route 2) The relationship of the location of Eupchi and the stations By clarifying the above, the purpose of this paper is to clarify how the morphology of the city in Korea has been affected by the change in the relationship with Korea and Japan. The Empire of Japan has been reconnoitering the Korea since way before the formal contract for the railroad construction was signed. Therefore, the Empire of Japan had a very good understanding of the actual transportation system when it started the construction of the railroad. The railroad construction was used by the Empire of Japan to empower the control over the Korea. For this reason, the new railroad system was constructed as a different system from the former transportation system and the urban system was also affected. Also the relationship of the western powers and Japan around the turn of the 20th century defined the characteristic of the railway system as a pathway through the Korean peninsular to link Japan to the continent. Moreover, being apprehensive about the friction with the western, Japan located the railway stations to avoid the missionary land properties. This made it clear that the restraint relationship between Japan and the western affected the urban special structure.

It is usual to determine silver-town location by people's experienced knowledge or intuition considering many different type of thematic variables simultaneously. This paper is primarily intended to locate sunny silver-town according to catchment-wide solar radiation as single key variable. GIS based solar simulation realistically identified catchment-wide solar radiation in the study area using large scale spatial precision. More than 90% over the worst catchment were identified shadow surfaces while the optimal catchment was heavily covered by sunny radiation surfaces. It is confirmed that standard GIS technology can offers the viable method of measuring and comparing the catchment-wide solar radiation. Guidelines for a replicable methodology are presented to provide a strong theoretical basis for the standardization of factors involved in locating the sunny silver-town; delineation of catchment boundary, solar simulation, catchment-wide comparison etc. They could be used as an evidence to determine sunny catchment in comparison with other catchment, based solar simulation. It is anticipated that this research output could be used as a valuable reference to confirm the potential of introducing the new concept of "catchment specific solar radiation" to support more scientific and objective decision-making in the process of locating silver town.
