In this paper, we have proposed license plate recognition system for multi-national vehicle license plate using geometric features along with hybrid and seven segment pattern vectors. In the proposed system, we suggested to find horizontal and vertical relation after going through preparation process with inputted real-time license plate image of Korea and Japan, and then to classify license plate with using characteristic and geometric information of license plates. It classifies the extracted license plate images into letters and numbers, such as local name, local number, classification character and license consecutive numbers, and recognize license plate of Korea and Japan by applying hybrid and seven segments pattern vectors to classified letter and number region. License plate extraction step of the proposed system uses width and length information along with relative rate of Korean and Japanese license plate. Moreover, it exactly segmentation by letters with using each letter and number position information within license plate region, and recognizes Korean and Japanese license plates by applying hybrid and seven segment pattern vectors, containing characteristics related to letter size and movement within segmented letter area. As the result of testing the proposed system in real experiment, it recognized regardless of external lighting conditions as well as classifying license plates by nations, Korea and Japan. We have developed a system, recognizing regardless of inputted structural character of vehicle licenses and external environment.

The performance of a shared memory multiprocessor system is very sensitive to process scheduling. w can enhance the performance of a whole system as well as of an individual process by taking the multiprocessor characteristics into account in the design of the process scheduler. In this paper, we proposed a general purpose scheduler for a shared memory multiprocessor, called the Two-Level Multi-Scan (TLMS) process scheduler, that considers the processor affinity loosely and decreases the interference among multiple processors greatly. The TLMS scheduler is composed of a local scheduler at each processor and a semi-global scheduler that balances the load among processors. In particular, the semi-global scheduler tries to minimize priority inversion, which is an important factor of the system performance. The TLMS scheduler also tries to reduce the number of resources to be shared and improves the processor utilization. to meet these requirements, th semi-global scheduler interacts with the operation of the local scheduler when a need arises, thus the name is loose processor-affinity. We also show that the proposed scheduling technique can be extended for other types of resources making it a general purpose resource management queue.

Softswitch is the core BcN equipment which voice and multimedia switching based on the IP Technologies. It is designed to replace the Class 5(local Exchange) and Class 4(Toll Exchange) switch based on the circuit wired and wireless switching network technologies. Softswitch gets its name because typically it is a software based solution implemented on general purpose computers/servers. While the traditional PSTN switches are rely on dedicated facilities for T and S inter-connection and are designed primarily for voice communications. Packet based Softswitch is divided the control of call and bearer, very different from Public telephone network. Sometimes Call Agent or Media Gateway Controller, a key component in the VoIP solution, is also called Softswitch. This paper will suggest the software architecture of softswitch for performance in call processing part, also suggest the session management model to cover call setup latency.

When Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network(BISDN) becomes commercially available In public network, conventional Local Area Network(LAN)s will still be in use. The first wide spread application for B-ISDN will be the interconnection of LANs. The equipment providing the connection between the LAN and the BISDN will be given the general name Inter Working Unit(IWU). We addresses the congestion problem of many interworking issues. In this paper, Our study is concentrated on applying connectionless network protocol for interworking. We suggest a rate control method in the network layer to prevent a buffer overflow in the IWU. Since this rate control method can be applied to prevent buffer overflow in a congested IWU, We investigate the use of rate control to solve congestion problems of IWU and parallize network layer with rate control to lessen the congestion problem in IWU.

Historically, the name and scopes of Agricultural Engineering have changed considerably affected by many factors including global trend of Agricultural Engineering. There were times when this education program became unpopular but then again regained in the aftermath of economic crises. The afterward national policy has given big opportunity to resources based developments. Even though agriculture has shown its capability in maintaining local community to support their lives during the time of crises, the global markets have become the real threats. The challenge of Indonesian Agricultural Engineers now is how to produce agricultural commodities in any kind of forms but cheaper than the international price. Agricultural Engineering Education has to find a proper role of contribution to solve these problems. And, the education system of Agricultural Engineering itself has to be upgraded to some extend to anticipate changes of the global trends.

일본 남부와 대만에 분포하는 것으로 알려진 난과의 애기방울난초 (Habenaria iyoensis)가 제주도 서귀포시 저지대에서 발견되었다. 이 종은 3 맥을 가진 꽃받침, 짧은 원통형의 거, 로젯형의 근생 잎에 의해 다른 해오라비난초속 식물들과 구별된다. 국명은 방울난초 보다 작으므로 애기방울난초로 신청하였다. 애기방울난초의 형태적 특징을 기재하고, 도해와 생태 사진을 첨부하였다.

Triadenum breviflorum (Wallich ex Dyer) Y. Kimura in Nakai & Honda (Hypericaceae), previously known only in northeast India, China and Taiwan, was found in a few wetlands of Jeju Island in 2008. Additionally, some images online of T. breviflorum suggest that it exists in other places on the Korean peninsula but that it has been misidentified as Triadenum japonicum. This species is distinguished from the latter by white petals, inflorescence from nodes 6-11, linear to narrowly elliptic leaves, and an attenuated base. The local name Huin-kkot-mul-go-chu-na-mul implies a white flower rather than the flesh-pink color of T. japonicum. The morphological characteristics of the species are provided with photographs of the habitat.

음식과 맛집에 대한 사용자의 정보검색 니즈가 나날이 증가하면서 서비스 제공자가 정보 제공의 대상이 되는 맛집 상호명을 파악하는 것은 중요한 이슈다. 그러나 업종의 특성상 점포가 새로 생겨나는 주기는 매우 짧은 반면, 신규 점포의 서비스 등록 시점에는 시간적 차이가 존재하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 신규 상호명을 능동적으로 파악하기 위해 위치기반 서비스 로그에서 맛집 상호명을 추출하는 문자 기반의 딥러닝 모델 및 방법론을 제시한다. 자체 구축한 학습 데이터셋으로 실험한 결과, 제안하는 모델이 기존 기계학습 모델보다 높은 정확도로 상호명을 분류할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 사전 학습된 모델을 검색로그에 적용하여 신규 상호명 후보를 추출함으로써 향후 상호명 DB를 능동적으로 업데이트 할 수 있는 가능성을 타진하였다.

The easily accessible handheld devices equipped with camera are widely available as common commodities. According to this trend, utilization of images is popular among common users for various purposes resulting in huge amount of images in local or network based storage systems. In this environment, identification of an image with a solid and effective manner is demanded in behalf of safe distribution and efficient management of images. The generated identifiers can be used as a file name in file systems or an index in image databases utilizing the uniqueness of the identifiers. In this paper, we propose a method that generates image identifiers using linear components in images. Some experiments of generation of identifiers are performed, and the results evaluate that the proposed method has feasible effectiveness.

This study focuses a comparison of Korean and Western Furniture culture on traditional cupboard terms to make the people understand and distinguish the form of the various Korean and Western cupboard made by the craftsmanship before the industrial Revolution. As the result, the Korean cupboard shows Kangwon Chanjang/cupboard, Gyeonggi Chanjang/cupboard by the local name, dwiju Chanjang/cupboard, three-tiered Chanjang/cupboard, four-tired Chanjang/cupboard, two-tiered Chantak/cupboard, three-tiered Chantak/cupboard in the terms of the form. Korean cupboards are called Chanjang and Chantak. The Western cupboard shows cupboard, buffet, livery cupboard, cupboard-bed, corner cupboard, court cupboard, turkey-breast cupboard, pot cupboard, press, press cupboard, hall cupboard, sideboard, hunt sideboard, huntboard, cabinet, corner cabinet, writing cabinet, art cabinet, china cabinet, dresser, safe, meat safe, wall closet, wall cupboard, hanging corner cupboard, food cupboard in the terms of the various forms.
