We have recently witnessed many of global companies did not successfully adapt themselves to local markets, and finally exited the markets experiencing failures. The purpose of this study is to suggest practical glocalization strategies for global e-service companies to run their respective businesses in local markets with success. Glocalization is a terminology blending globalization and localization, meaning that global companies adapt themselves to local cultures, environment, languages, laws and regulations so as to survive and prosper in those markets while maintaining high quality of standards and processes they originally have for global competitive edge. Examining success stories as well as failure ones of global e-service companies having entered Asian markets, we provide marketing mix strategy for successful glocalization, and suggest some guidelines for prospective e-service companies wishing to enter local markets with different cultures and languages to fit themselves to new environments.

As a way to expand distribution structure of local broadcasting, the introduction of local programming regulations for total amount will be highlighted in the nationwide network program. The mandatory policy that programs produced by local terrestrial broadcasting companies will be broadcast regularly in prime time through a nationwide network is an example. In addition to developing high content independently, 2nd Multiple channels of distribution is needed. It has to be supplied to various platforms including local broadcasting, SO and etc. In addition, it is necessary to activate regional co-production program between local terrestrial broadcasting companies and regions. Time rate between central stations and local terrestrial broadcasting companies must be distributed practically. And also, local terrestrial broadcasting companies in addition to ad revenue model to themselves and their own businesses by expanding the sponsorship to strengthen the competitiveness will have to nurture self-sustaining. This study examines the recent business models of domestic logistics companies in Hanoi and Hai Phong, Vietnam, and suggests implications. We introduced business models (coastal shipping, distribution center and ICD transportation, cold chain, border crossing, port development, etc.) that provide logistics services through cooperation with existing logistics companies (shippers, logistics companies, local companies, etc.). If we propose a partnership plan in the short and medium term, short-term projects include warehouse, ICD, trucking business, and it is feasible to not only collaborate with Korean companies that have already entered the market, but to also invest in joint ventures with local companies (up to 51% of local companies). In the long term, we can consider coastal transportation, cross-border transportation, trucking, and investment in new deep sea ports. All of these businesses require local partnerships, so local companies require a 51% stake.

Despite the government's constant exertions on making a win-win environment through positive discrimination for small and medium-sized companies and local companies, they are suffering from order polarization, weak competitiveness to win a project, and low profitability in highly competitive market situations resulting from the contraction of the construction market. This study examined the U.S. policy and regulations on protecting the relatively weak entities in the construction industry, focused on a goaling program, setting aside the bid preference for small and middle-sized companies and local companies. From benchmarking, some implications were drawn to reconsider the goal of policy and regulations for small and medium-sized companies and local companies. In conclusion, unlike domestic positive discrimination regulations, which are based on the concept of market sharing that can allow a paper company to survive, those of the U.S. are based on the principle of fair competitiveness, and also provide a certain degree of advantage for small and medium-sized companies and local companies. Therefore, the domestic positive discrimination policy and regulations for small and medium-sized companies and local companies need to be reconsidered toward the direction of not only protecting them but also to strengthen their competitiveness in the market.
Logistics companies distinguish between medium-sized business and small business according to the size of enterprises. Of course, conglomerates are called global corporations. In this study, mid-sized companies over a certain size or more and those below are classified and decide the priorities among important factors to secure competitiveness in logistics companies are determined through AHP technique. Mid-sized companies are companies that can provide more than two logistics services. For example, they provide warehousing and transportation services in the same time. small companies are companies that can mostly provide one functional service. Warehousing, transportation, manpower, and information are listed as factors in this study. As a result of the study, medium-sized companies emphasized on the importance of transportation. When it comes to small companies, warehousing was emphasized as an important factor. Due to the simultaneous and contemporary service of warehousing and transportation in small-sized company, the reliable image of the company will be underestimated in case of delays in transportation. Competitiveness will also be weakened. Global corporations or conglomerates will start to consider relocating warehousing areas to others except for the central storage hub. They won't plan to invest directly, either. Therefore, it will be possible to secure competitiveness by providing the function of warehousing and to signed easily partnership.

In Korea, various community investment renewable project models are being implemented to increase community acceptance of renewable energy. An important factor for enhancing local acceptance is that renewable energy projects have a positive effect on revitalizing the local economy such as income increase or job creation for residents and local companies. To maximize the local economic effect of large-scale community investment renewable energy projects, this study developed an evaluation index for local economy activation, whose indicators are the local return on investment, local companies' participation, local job creation, regional cooperation, transparency, and governance. Analysis of existing evaluation indicators and current renewable projects, financial analysis, and expert interviews were used in this research. The pilot evaluation determined that, the local economic effect was high in the following order: a fund investment wind project (Gangwon), benefit-sharing wind project (Jeju), and general wind project. In particular, residents' investment amount, the number of participating residents, and the amount and transparency of the regional cooperation fund were key factors to expand the effect of local economy activation. This evaluation index could be used in public bidding for renewable energy projects such as offshore wind zoning areas of local government.
