무정전전원장치 병렬운전을 위한 인버터의 출력 위상 동기화 방법 (Output Phase Synchronization Method of Inverter for Parallel Operation of Uninterruptible Power System)

  • In this paper, we propose the bus/bypass synchronization phase lock loop (B-Sync PLL) method using each phase voltage controller of a parallel UPS inverter. The B-Sync PLL included in each phase voltage control system of parallel UPS inverters has the transient response and the phase synchronization error at grid normal or blackout. The validity of this method is verified by simulation and experiment. As a result, the parallel UPS inverters using the proposed method confirmed that the output phase was continuously synchronized when a grid blackout, improving the transient response characteristics for stable load power supply and equal load sharing.

  • This paper provides an analysis of the transient behaviour of a right-angled bent cantilever beam subjected to a suddenly applied force at its tip perpendicular to its plane. Based on a rigid, perfectly plastic material model, a double-hinge mechanism is required to complete the possible deformation under a rectangular force pulse (constant force applied for a finite duration) with a four-phase response mode. The kinematics of the various response phases are described and the partitioning of the input energy at the plastic hinges during the motion is evaluated.

  • The transient stability of the synchronous motor is generally improved by damper winding or flywheel. However the synchronous motor at full load will be pulled out from normal operation state when the period of power failure exceeds approximately ten cycle per second. This paper studies the method of improving the stability of synchronous motor by equipping the phase slipping switch between the motor and power source. This paper shows the motor does not pull out, which results from the decrease of power angle to about 30 electrical degrees by means of the switch even when the relatively long period of power failure brings the power angle to some 150 electrical degrees.

  • This paper describes the results of a study for the stability of power system when the Kori Nuclear #1 P/P is operated with existing system. First, a transient disturbance, which effects the stability of entire power system, was analysed and to cope with the problem a load shedding method was studied to recover the fluctuation of the power system. Second, transient stability problem was studied when three phase fault occurs in 345 Extra High Voltage power System, and from this result, it was found to be highly effective that high speed protecting device should be provided and operated to recover the fault.

  • Recently, the application of the linear machine for industrial field is remarkable increased, especially for the gantry machine and machine tool system. In these application, high precise position control performance is essentially required in steady/transient state. This paper presents the generalized PID position control algorithm which have rare sensitivity to mass and disturbance. Through the experimental results, it is shown that the proposed algorithm have good performance for the linear machine drives in the steady state and transient state in spite of the load mass varing.

Urea-SCR 시스템의 DeNOx 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on DeNOx Characteristics of Urea-SCR System)

  • To meet the NOx limit without a penalty of fuel consumption, urea SCR system is currently regarded as promising NOx reduction technology for diesel engines. SCR system has to achieve maximal NOx conversion in combination with minimal $NH_3$ slip. In this study, as a basic research to develop an algorithm for urea injection control, the characteristics of engine out NOx emission and behavior of NOx reduction during steady-state and transient conditions were investigated using 2L DI diesel engine. Test results show that on increasing the catalyst temperature the variations in the outlet NOx concentration are faster and maximal allowable $NH_3$ storage exponentially decreases. For change from a low to high engine load, it can be seen that a few seconds after load-step is required to reach full NOx conversion and the adsorbed amount of $NH_3$ at lower temperature desorb during the next temperature increase, causing $NH_3$ slip. Engine out NOx emission needs to be corrected because NOx emissions just after step load is lower than that of steay state condition.

  • 최근의 전력계통은 대규모 복잡화 되어가고 장거리 대용량 송전이 증대함에 따라 안정도 해석에서 부하특성을 고려한 해석은 중요한 과제이다. 본 논문은 전력계통의 유도부하가 전력계통의 전압에 미치는 영향을 조사 분석한 논문으로 그 주요내용은 부하모선에 연결된 부하중에서 유도 전동기 부하의 비율이 크거나 유도전동기 부하의 관성정수가 적은 경우가 전압 불안정 현상에 미치는 영향이 크며, 유도전동기 부하가 클 경우는 그 부하가 연결된 회로의 일부 개로시 즉 단순한 계통의 회로 변경시에도 전압불안정 현상을 일으킬 수 있다. 이 전압 불안정 현상은 부하의 응동특성에 따라 계통에 적정용량의 전력용 콘덴서를 투입함으로써 방지할 수 있다.

  • In recent years, understanding the dynamics of DC distribution system has become critically important due mainly to the increasing needs for the interconnection of DC distributed generators and the (DC-based) electric vehicle (EV) charging systems. In this paper, the characteristics of the DC grid system connected to the compact proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) has been studied. In particular, the voltage and current transient phenomena were measured by varying the load of the DC grid system. Also, the voltage and current ripple were measured at the different load conditions. Our experimental results clearly manifested that the study contributes to the establishment of fundamental method to characterize the small DC grid system including distributed generation.

  • PWM 벅 컨버터는 3형 오차 보상기를 주로 사용하고 있다. 이 오차 보상기는 낮은 슬루율을 갖게 하는 큰 커패시터로 인해, 부하 전류의 과도응답이 발생하였을 때 부하 전압에 의도하지 않은 큰 오버슈트와 언더슈트를 발생시킨다. 또한 기준전압을 변화시켰을 때의 변화에도 느리게 응답한다. 전원장치의 효율적인 사용을 위해 다양한 부하 전류와 전압이 요구되고 있고, PWM 벅 컨버터 역시 부하 전류 변화와 기준 전압 변화에 따른 부하 전압의 빠른 응답특성을 가져야 한다. 본 논문은 PWM 벅 컨버터의 응답시간을 늘이기 위한 여러 가지 빠른 과도응답 기술들의 동작 방식과 이들 방법이 갖고 있는 장점, 한계점들을 소개한다.
