철도차량의 윤중 감소가 탈선계수에 미치는 영향 연구 (Study of Influence of Wheel Unloading on Derailment Coefficient of Rolling Stock)

  • 본 논문에서는 윤중감소를 고려한 이론적 새로운 탈선계수 모델을 제시한다. 본 탈선계수 모델은 열차 충돌 원인 탈선현상을 예측할 수 있는 단일 윤축의 이론적 탈선모델을 바탕으로 도출한다. 현재 국내 탈선규정에서는 플랜지 각이 $60^{\circ}$ 이고 마찰계수가 0.3인 조건을 나달식에 적용하여 탈선계수를 구한 후 안전율을 적용하여 0.8을 규정하고 있으나, 플랜지 각이 변경되면 이론적 설명이 부족하게 된다. 따라서 제시한 탈선계수 이론모델을 이용하여 탈선계수 규정 값 0.8을 이론적으로 접근해본다. 또한 국내탈선규정에서 윤중 감소율을 50%까지 허용하고 있으나 명확한 규정근거를 제시하고 있지 않다. 따라서 윤중 규정 50%감소와 탈선계수 규정 값 0.8과의 상관 관계를 앞서 제시한 탈선계수 이론모델을 이용하여 이론적으로 규명한다. 마지막으로 동역학 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 탈선계수 이론모델의 타당성을 입증한다.

  • In order for Hypoid gear development. Gears are required to sustain heavy loads or on applications where the gear box is made or a material with a different coefficient of thermal expansion form that or the gears and shafts, it is desirable to make a deflection and contact check under load. The deflection test is performed in the actual gear mounting using completely processed gear. This test should cover the full operating range of gear loads from no load to peak load. Under peak load the contact pattern should extend to the tooth boundaries without showing a concentration of the contact pattern at any point on the tooth surface.

틸팅패드 저널베어링의 유막 강성 및 감쇠계수에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Stiffness and Damping Coefficients of a Tilting Pad Journal Bearing)

  • An experimental study is performed to investigate the frequency effects of the excitation force on the linear stiffness and damping coefficients of a LOP (load on pad) type five-pad tilting pad journal bearing with the diameter of 300.91 mm and the length of 149.80 mm. The main parameter of interest in the present work is excitation frequency to shake the test bearing. The excitation frequency is controlled independently, using orthogonally mounted hydraulic exciters. The relative movement between the bearing and shaft, and the acceleration of the bearing casing are measured as a function of excitation frequency using the different values of bearing load and shaft speed. Measurements show that the variation of excitation frequency has quite a little effect on both stiffness and damping coefficients. Both direct stiffness and damping coefficients in the direction of bearing load decrease by the increase of shaft speed, but increase with the bearing load.

  • This study was carried out to analyze the effect of wind load on the structural stability of a container crane according to the increase of the lifting capacity using wind tunnel test and provided a container crane designer with data which can be used in a wind resistance design of a container crane assuming that a wind load at 75m/s wind velocity is applied on a container crane. Data acquisition conditions for this experiment were established in accordance with the similarity. The scale of a container crane dimension, wind velocity and time were chosen as 1/200, 1/13.3 and 1/15. And this experiment was implemented in an Eiffel type atmospheric boundary-layer wind tunnel with $11.52m^{2}$ cross-section area. Each directional drag and overturning moment coefficients were investigated.

  • To protect a satellite and electronic equipment from the acoustic load generated by rocket propulsion system, many launch vehicle use acoustic blanket. Acoustic load is main source of random vibration working on the payload. Most high frequency region of the acoustic loads is reduced by payload fairing skins and acoustic blanket, but low frequency region is not. In order to reduce acoustic load of low frequency region, we designed array resonator panel which was made of composite materials. Insertion loss capacity of the payload fairing with acoustic blanket was verified from PLF acoustic test in the acoustic chamber.

  • Middle size of membrane retractable roof is under 25m span which consists of various moving systems. Trolley is the system that leads the membrane to parking place, transferring the load from the membrane to structural cable. When membrane closes roof completely, thus, structural behavior of trolley, which may contain various material with different friction coefficients, should be investigated by vertical load. Nummerical simulation of trolley prototypes, in this research, was performed by incrementation of vertical load. Consequently, this paper studied proper friction characteristics and provided the effective inner materials of trolley.

풍하중을 받는 태양광 추적 구조물의 응력해석 (Stress Analysis on a Structure of Solar Tracker Subjected to Wind Load)

  • A solar power generator is usually installed outdoors and it is exposed to extreme environments such as snow weight and wind loading. The solar tracker structure should be designed to have sufficient stiffness and strength against such loads. In this paper, simulations are performed by varying the parameters such as wind directions, wind speeds and the pose of the solar panel to evaluate the effects of extreme wind on solar tracker. As the effects of wind load, maximum displacement and maximum equivalent stress in the solar tracker are calculated. Finite element stress analysis is carried out by using the pressure distribution that is obtained by prior wind load analysis due to the flow around the solar tracker. The stress analysis of solar tracker to check and/or improve structural robustness provides some useful instructions for structural design or revision of solar tracker.

  • This paper discuss the conditionally sampled actual wind pressure distributions causing peak quasi-static wind loads in the large span roofs using the wind pressures at many locations on dome models measured simultaneously in a wind tunnel. The actual extreme pressure distributions are compared itk load-response-correlation (LRC) method and the quasi-steady pressure distributions. Based on the results, the reason for the discrepancy in the LRC pressure distribution and the actual extreme pressure distribution are discussed. Futhermore, a brief discussion is made of the equivalent static wind load estimation for the large span roofs.

외기온도와 부하변화에 따른 산업용 냉각기의 인버터제어 특성 (The Characteristic of Inverter Control by Variation of Refrigeration Load and Outdoor Temperature on Industrial Cooler)

  • This paper presents The performance analysis of inverter control type-industrial cooler with respect to refrigeration load and outdoor temperature. Aside from materials about simulations and foundation data regarding inverter control compressors, currently, data about commercial coolers with inverter control still lack information for performance comparison. Thus, in this paper, the experiments are done to see characteristics of condensation capacity, evaporation capacity, compressor power and COP with respect to outdoor temperature and load by using a commercial inverter control cooler model. As a result, COP difference of the inverter control cooler with respect to load is 30% at the outdoor temperature of $35^{\circ}C$, 29% at the outdoor temperature of $30^{\circ}C$, 34% at $25^{\circ}C$, respectively.
