2010년도 대한민국 농업 및 축산업지역의 질소 유입 및 유출 수지 (Nitrogen Budgets of Agriculture and Livestock in South Korea at 2010)

  • 본 연구에서는 농업 및 축산업에서의 질소수지 경향을 파악하며 총 유입되는 질소량을 고려한 아산화질소($N_2O$) 발생량을 지자체별로 평가하였다. 농업지역은 경작이 이뤄지는 논과 밭으로 세분화 하였으며 축산업지역은 축산업종을 대상으로 구분하였다. 질소의 주요 유입으로는 작물생산을 위한 질소질 화학비료에 의한 토양 내 유입량, 건식 및 습식을 포함한 대기로부터의 질소 침착량, 질소고정 박테리아에 의한 생물학적 질소 고정량, 미처리된 가축분뇨에 의한 유입 및 퇴비로의 재사용량, 관개용수에 의한 토양으로 질소 유입, 가축사료를 통한 유입이 있으며, 유출된 양은 연간 생산된 농작물 내의 질소함유량, 농경지 작물 질소 흡수량, 질소질 화학비료 사용량에 따른 토양에서의 탈질량과 휘발량, 지하수 유출량, 가축 분뇨 발생량 중 휘발되거나 탈질되는 양, 퇴비로 재사용된 양, 가축분뇨 해양투기에 의한 유출로 결정하고 그 양을 추정하였다. 연간 질소의 총 유입량은 1,148,848 N ton/yr이며, 총 유출량은 610,380 N ton/yr이었다. 2005, 2008, 2010년 질소 수지를 비교 및 분석한 결과, 2010년 총 유입된 질소는 2005년 질소유입 보다 238,654 N ton/yr이 저감된 것으로 조사되었다. 총 유입 질소의 감소는 질소질 화학 비료, 논의 밭 전환, 경지면적의 도로건설 및 도시확장 등으로 인한 결과이며 총 유출 질소는 237,407 N ton/yr이 감소하였다. 총 유입되는 질소량을 고려한 N2O발생량 지자체별 평가에서 전라남도가 2,574 ton/yr로 $N_2O$ 배출량이 가장 높으며, 서울이 7 ton/yr로 가장 낮다.

유기성 자원과 혼합유기질비료 혼합물의 특성 및 처리 후 엽채류의 생육 효과 (Physicochemical Properties of Mixtures with Mixed Organic Fertilizer and Various Organic Sources and Their Influences on Growth of Two Leaf Vegetables)

  • 본 연구는 유기성 자원 중 가축분퇴비(LMC), 가공계분(CPM), 음식물류폐기물건조분말(FWP) 및 아미노산발효부산액(ABF)등과 혼합유기질비료(MOF)의 혼합물의 이화학적 특성의 변화와 작물에 대한 생육을 조사하였다. LMC, FWP 및 MOF의 혼합물(MLF)의 질소, 인산 및 칼륨의 함량은 각각 3.6~3.9%, 2.1~2.2% 및 1.3~1.4%의 범위를 나타내었다. MLF3 처리구(60% MOF + 10% LMC + 30% FWP)는 대조구(MOF)보다 약 29% 상추의 건물중이 증가하였다. CPM, FWP, ABF 및 MOF의 혼합물인 MCFA의 질소, 인산, 칼륨의 함량은 각각 4.5~4.7%, 1.7~1.9% 및 1.3~1.4%의 범위를 나타내었다. MCFA를 상추와 배추에 처리하였을 경우 MOF와 통계적으로 유의적인 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 유기성 자원과 혼합유기질비료의 혼합물인 MLFs와 MCFAs의 시비는 상추와 배추 재배에서 혼합유기질비료(MOF)와 유사한 작물생육특성을 나타내어 LMC와 ABF는 유기질비료의 원료로 가능성을 나타내었다.

축산폐수처리가 분뇨처리의 환경에 미치는 영향도

  • I investigated the processing-treatment of livestocks feces and body wastes in Tok- ushima prefecture, and made clear the problems relative to its influence to environments. Nowadays the load of pollution of the m is as following. COD P livestock 8.8% 38.5% body wastes 1,2 4.5 As for the livestock feces, the method of evaporation-permeation is more general than that of oxidation process because of costs. Another way is that the dung will be changed into the compost. However as these methods pollute environments remarkably, a large-scale digesting process is being planned. In case of the processing of body wastes, costs for the processing plant tend to increase to the highest level in accordance with the strong power inhabitants. In all processing, we suffer from a large amount of economical loads.

소규모 경축순환 유기농가 경영에서의 범위의 경제성 실증 분석 -평창군 'W농장' 사례를 중심으로- (An Empirical Analysis of Economies of Scope in the Small Crop-Livestock Cycling Organic Farming -Case of 'W-farm' in Pyungchang -)

  • Theoretically, it is said that economies of scope can be realized in the cropelivestock cycling organic farming. Thus, it is also used as the principle of organic farming. However, it is difficult to find the cases of the empirical analysis of it in Korea. In that sense, this study is meaningful in that it analyzed the agricultural data of case farms of obtaining the approval of both organic agricultural products and organic animal products and practicing cycling farming for 4 years and tested the hypothesis. This study measured economies of scope by using the actual measurement value and estimation value farming performance statistics for 4 years of case farms. This farmhouse conducted nutrient cycling in the farm like self-manufacturing and injecting organic agricultural byproduct and wild grass as organic livestock feed and fermenting organic livestock manure to organic compost to return it 100%. The results can be summarized as follows: According to the result of cycling farming of combining and producing organic agriculture and organic livestock, economies of scope were found to be realized in this case farmhouse. That is, although not strong, EOS>0, there were economies of scope. The measurement value appeared as 0.0722, 0.00378, 0.04667 and 0.13127 in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, respectively. It was improved as time passes and the scale gets smaller. Therefore, in order to further improve economies of scope, there should be measures of reducing duplication costs between agriculture-livestock as low as possible and lowering the production cost of organic feed. That is, there is a need for the management strategy to adjust the import function and cost function according to the change in management paradigm and cropping system.

  • 축산 선진국에서는 축산 폐기물을 바이오 에너지 및 퇴비, 액비로 자원화 이용하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 축산분뇨를 더 이상 페기물이 아닌 자원화 할 수 있도록 관련 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 좁은 국토면적과 부족한 농지면적으로 가축분뇨 자원의 전량 자원화에는 어려운 상황이다. 특히 지역적으로 과잉되는 양분은 제2의 환경오염을 유발할 수 있어 지역적으로 잉여되는 양분의 관리기법이 매우 시급한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 지역적으로 발생되는 가축분뇨 중 함유된 양분량을 정확하게 예측하기 위해서 사육단계별로 돼지 두수를 입력하면 자동으로 분뇨발생량 및 함유양분을 계산하도록 하였다. 또한 이를 통해 발생된 분뇨의 농지환원 시 시비량을 100평당 NPK 비료 3요소로 자동 계산토록 하여 시비량을 산출하는 모의실험을 수행하였다.

간척지 자원순환형 축산단지의 도입 가능성 연구 (A Study on the Possibility of Introducing a Resources Circulation Type Livestock Zone of Reclaimed Land)

  • The present study suggests a concept of resources circulation type agriculture and a concept of a livestock zone related to it and evaluated economical efficiency about a possibility of the resources circulation type livestock zone based on the concept. As a result, when the resources circulation type livestock zone is operated in an area of 1,300ha, it was evaluated that the profit of 11,244 hundred thousand won per year is generated, compared to the conventional agriculture. When light and heat expenses and roughage of Hanwoo production, production of TMR forage as well as income of the energy and composting business of livestock manure at the recycling center were considered in addition to that, it was judged that the present zone development bushiness has enough business feasibility. However, it is necessary that the support regulations, etc. is constructed so that all produced compost byproducts are used at farmhouses and the system related to facility investment assurance and assistance of operating expenses is maintained. It is thought that the complement of a system is also necessary so that energy or power generation expenses can be operated in the same conditions as other new & renewable energy, and the nation's purchase of carbon credits(CDM) is investigated and systemized in the early period, and construction of a revitalization plan of the business through budget securing of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry related to the trade of CDM and carbon emission rights is also a business that should be urgently developed. In the future, the change of an outside environment will further promote use of the energy. Also, as people, who don't know agriculture. farm village, increase day by day because of population concentration in a city, an opportunity that can new added value through experience tourism or educational programs utilizing them is increasing. Accordingly, if programs utilizing social characteristics, such as utilization as a space of tourism. leisure. experience, system construction of bio-energy and system construction that Micro Grid or Smart Grid as a dispersed storage and generation system is stabilized, are constructed, it can be said that revitalization or success conditions of the zone is further achieved.

Performance of a Biofilter for Odor Removal during Manure Composting

  • Odor generated during composting of livestock manure is mainly due to ammonia emission. Biofiltration is a desirable method to control composting odor. This study was conducted to analyze the efficiency of using fresh compost as a biofilter. A mixture of cattle manure and recycled compost was composted in a bin equipped with a suction-type blower. The exhaust gas was filtered through the fresh compost. Residence time was controlled by the flow rate of exhaust gas and the depth of filtering materials. At the aeration rate of 30 L/min(experiment I), ammonia reduction rate varied from 100% to -15% for biofilter A(residence time 56.5 s) and almost 100% for biofilter B(residence time 113 s). At the aeration rate of 30 L/min, the cumulative ammonia reduction rate was 80.5% for biofilter A and 99.9% for biofilter B. At the aeration rate of 50 L/min(experiment II), the lowest reduction rate showed a negative value of -350% on the 8th and 9th day for biofilter A(residence time 33.9 5), and 50% on the loth day for biofilter B(residence time 67.8s). At the aeration rate of 50 L/min, the cumulative ammonia reduction rate was 82.5% fur biofilter A and 97.4% for biofilter B. Filtering efficiency was influenced by residence time. The moisture content(MC) and total nitrogen(T-N) of the filtering material were increased by absorbing moisture and ammonia included in the exhaust gas, while pH was decreased and total carbon(T-C) remained unchanged during the filtering operation.

부숙촉진 미생물 분리 및 분리균의 특성 (Isolation and Characteristics of Composting-promoting-bacteria)

  • 가축분 및 음식물 퇴비 132점에서 517균주를 분리하고 CMC와 xylan 및 PGA 배지에서 강한 활성을 가지는 10여개의 균주를 선별하여 배추종자 발아를 이용한 작물 inhibition test와 오이 육묘실험으로 growth test를 거쳐 생육이 가장 양호한 LYH201 균주를 야생균주로 선발하였다. Bergey's manual 방법으로 특성을 조사한 결과 LYH201균주는 Gram 양성균으로 내생포자 형성, oxidase, CMCCase, xylanase, catalase, V-P test, methyl red test, arabinose 등의 탄소원 이용성은 양성이었으며, indole을 생성하고, urease, lecithinase, dihydrolase test는 음성이었고, 전자현미경으로 관찰한 결과 길이가 $2.5{\sim}3.0{\mu}m$, 너비가 $0.5{\sim}0.7{\mu}m$의 간균인 Bacillus subtilis로 확인되었다. Bacillus subtilis LYH201 균주를 MMY를 이용하여 배양한 결과 온도 $50^{\circ}C$, pH 6.0에서 생육이 가장 좋았다.

Effect of Cattle-Manure Application on Soil Chemical Properties and Crop Yields in Rice-Forage Cropping System

  • The steady increase in livestock industry has greatly required the stable production of food and forage crops. As an alternative, rice-forage cropping system has been attempted in several southern areas. The present study was performed to understand whether an application of cattle-manure compost affects soil chemical properties and crop productivity in rice-forage cropping system, rice ${\rightarrow}$ summer oat ${\rightarrow}$ rye, in Jangheong county, south Jeolla province from 2013 to 2014. Treatments was composed of control (no compost), CM1 (compost application before rice transplanting), and CM2 (two-times compost application, before rice transplanting and after rice harvest), and inorganic fertilizers (N, P, and K) were equally dressed in all plots. Yields of rice were not significantly different between treatments, however, oat production was 1.25-fold higher in CM1 and CM2. Nutrient uptake amounts of rye were higher in CM2 than CM1 and control. Total nitrogen in soil was maintained stable level during crop cultivation. And soil organic matter contents in all treatments were increased by crop residue. Available P_2O_5$ and exchangeable K were increased by cattle manure application. Therefore, it suggested that the amount of nutrient by forage crop residue should be considered in rice-forage multiple cultivation.
