This paper deals with the verification of the new truss model that has been conceptually derived and formulated in preceding research. Since the model includes the arch $coefficient-\alpha$, the characteristics of this coefficient are examined, and it appears that the $coefficient-\alpha$ is a function of a/d, $\rho$ and $\rho_v$. The arch $coefficient-\alpha$ is applied to the test specimens available in literatures, and the predicted values are shown to be in excellent agreement with the experimental results.

Authors have treated 4 patients of Angle's class II malocclusion; which were consisted a boy aged 11years 2 months, a girl aged 11 years 4 months, a boy aged 13 years 7 months and a female aged 20 years 1 months. The results of treartment were reviewed and discussed with literatures.

본 논문에서는 영상처리 및 패턴 인식 기법을 이용하여 고문헌의 진위판정을 행하는 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 통상 고문헌은 재질, 서지 형태, 판본과 서문 그리고 내사본과 낙관, 인장, 소장인등에 의해 진위 판정을 행한다. 본 논문에서는 이중 판본에 대해 진위 판정을 행하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 조선시대의 37가지 활자본에 대해 영상의 경계 구조 특성 파악에 의한 히스토그램 분석과 각 획의 각도와 길이 그리고 획의 두께 등에 의해 진위 판정을 행하고자 한다. 끝으로 실험에 의해 본 논문의 유용성을 입증하고자 한다.

The characteristics of slow wave structure employed for backward wave oscillator expected to be a high power microwave source are studied analytically. The slow wave structure is a sinusodially corrugated wall waveguide. The waveguide is designed and transmitted characteristics for microwave are measured in the air. There exist literatures on high efficiency of enhansed radiation from backward wave oscillators involving plasmastudied experimentally another results.

The characteristic features of myasthenia gravis, which are weakness of voluntary muscle and easy fatigability, result from defective neuromuscular transmission caused by an autoimmune response to acetylcholine receptor. Recently, we performed two cases of thymectomy for the treatment of myasthenia gravis, one was 50 year old man who had malignant thymoma and the other was 19 year old girl who had benign thymic hyperplasia. The former had long duration of symptoms, and showed poor postoperative result. The latter had short duration of symptoms, and showed complete remission. Herewith, we suggest that early thymectomy can give the clinical assets for myasthenia gravis. So we report these two experiences with review of literatures.

The problembs of mitral reste'1osis following primary mitral comissurotomy for mitral stenosis have been increased gradually, and also its incidence of mitral restenosis has showed the increasing time by time. We report 3 cases operation.l of mitral restenosis among several cases which have followed primary operatioa for 254 cases of mitral stenosis from Jan. 1959 to Dec. 1969. at the department of thoracic and cardiovascuar surgery, Natioaal Medical Center, with a review of literatures.

신생아에서 발생한 긴장성 심막 기종은 매우 심각하며 즉각적인 치료를 하지 않으면 심장 압전증(cardiac tamponade)에 의해 사망하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 저자들은 기계 환기 중 발생한 긴장성 심막기종을 조기에 진단하고 개방성 심낭막 개창술로 치료하였기에 문헌 고찰과 더불어 보고하는 바이다.

Congenital coronary arteriovenous fistula is relatively rare congenital heart disease which has formation of fistula between coronary artery and cardiac ventricle, atrium, or pulmonary artery, but that can be repaired with simple surgical procedure. We experienced three cases of congenital coronary arteriovenous fistula, which were repaired surgically under cardiopulmonary bypass, so we report these cases with review of the literatures.

Tribological conditions and additive chemistry between frictional Interfaces were discussed in the present paper. The principles of the tribochemical surface modification were drawn on the basis of data of literatures and experiments. Results of gear tests proved experimentally that the principles would have potential applications in industry.

I studied some important medical Literatures in order to examine the cause of Hoarse Voice and found out some facts of follows ; 1. The exogenous cause of disease in wind. 2. Wind-cold, Wind-fire, Wind-heat, Summer-heat, Heat. 3. The endogenous cause of disease is deficiency of Yin and dificiency of blood leads fire-evil was lung-dry stool dificiency of body fluid. 4. The non-exo-endogenous causes of disease is sing ballads and call out.
